Everyone we worked with was fantastic. Jared (Comfort Advisor) designed an energy efficient system for us, and kept us within our budget for the project Oscar and Edward were fast, efficient, and very careful not to damage our home during the install of a new furnace and Central air unit. We also had a water heater installed by Aaron Tolson and Matt Krohn from their plumbing department, and the install went smoothly. Everyone’s attention to detail was refreshing, because we have had other contractors come and miss important problems that could affect our health, safety, and pocketbook. I look forward to working with Tarpy again in the future.

Tarpy is an awesome company. Techs are always on time and professional. Today the tech Sam, pointed out an issue that had not been thought of previously. Of not corrected, would cause problems in the coming years. Simple little fix that could save hundreds on repairs.
Great company, good prices. Had them install a mini split in my garage and the installation Tech. Mr. Zavala and his partner Dylan did an amazing job, very thorough and clean, they were also punctual arriving at the promised time.

I had two heating and air conditioning systems put in my house. They were fast to arrive and finished in record time! Sam and Dave were leads on the installation and I was impressed with how fast they were and how well the communicated what was going on. they showed up right on time each day! there was a little glitch and Chris Fellows came out the very next day. he was right on time, called before he arrived! excellent! He fixed the glitch in a few min, then adjusted the dampers to suite our wishes. He was not obliged to do this, but did it with a smile! I highly recommend Tarpy!
Had Tarpy come do an HVAC tuneup. I was very happy with their service and my technician, Jonathan, was great. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed some inefficiency due to wear as well as the need for more coolant. He worked with me to make sure I was happy with the course of action and made me confident it was the best choice for the price. I already scheduled my furnace tune up and requested Jonathan again.
Great experience with Tarpy and Matt K. Will be using Tarpy again. They were able to fit me in same day, late in the day on Friday before a holiday weekend to replace hot water heater. Matt stayed late, into the evening, to ensure we had hot water for the weekend. Competitive price, substantially better bid than some of the biggest SD area plumbers.
Tarpy is who I call when there is a plumbing issue. I trust the individual people and the company overall is friendly, thorough, professional, fairly priced etc. Big shout out to Anthony who replaced the plumbing throughout our old building with the help of his team. He is a beast of a plumber. Joe Tarpy called us to make sure we were having a good experience while we were knee deep in this major project. Looking forward to not needing plumbers in my life but when I do I will call them always.
Stephanie took care of me on the business end and JD and his crew were great. Quick clean and answered all my questions. Tarpy is a great company did me a great job done in the time frame they estimated. Still took the time to make sure our system was working properly.

Update 6-15-23. Tarpy performs our annual maintenance on the systems they installed. Cost for this is about $350. They come during scheduled appointment. Fortunately no problems in 3 years so far. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We chose Tarpy for a complete rebuild of our home's heating and cooling ventilation system. Our goal was to upgrade a 15 year old builder's standard system into a modern energy efficient system for the next 20 years. The project was big. We interviewed 5 prominent San Diego HVAC companies. How did Tarpy emerge victorious? First, they spend as much time at our home as we needed during the design process. They willingly answered phone calls, texts and emails promptly before they got the job. They made revisions that they suggested and that we requested. They put all of our concerns into writing as to the labor, inspections, makes and models of all hardware to be installed so we had a complete written estimate of the job. They were superior to the other companies in the pre-sale experience. Thank you Scott and Paul. Their office staff communication was excellent handling all the paperwork. Their crew arrived on time each and every day. They wore masks, gloves, used sanitizer, wore shoe covers and used drop cloths. The install crew (Jason and Crow) answered any and all questions. The job wound up taking additional time to complete, but they handled it well without interruptions in the daily work schedule. They replaced the compressors, AC coils, furnaces, drain pans, all the vent registers, added 3 more air returns to our home, installed multiple Attic fans, installed the Clean Effects air purifier system and UV sterilization lights to the system. Oh, multiple thermostats too. Then they took the time to adjust the air flow out of all the vents. The results of all this is a home with programmed thermostats, connected via WiFi, a dramatic drop in energy use, quiet AC systems that aren't stressed in 100 degree temperatures and even cooling through the hom

My Technician was Dennis and he was Great and very friendly!! The job was supposed to be a quick installation but turned into a half day job because he was on the phone talking to the technical support team of my tankless water heater manufacturer the whole time. He didn't leave till everything was all setup and my water heater was programed. This guy is ***** 5 Stars!!
Adam and the team were great. They were very friendly, professional, and did a great job installing my whole house filtration system. They were on time, very responsive, and they were very helpful in recommending equipment that I should get as well as advising against things that weren’t needed. I will definitely be calling them again for future jobs.
