The first thing to be aware of is that the initial appointment can take at least 3.5 HOURS!! Totally unexpected.. they like to go into all the details of the history of the company, details of materials, comparison to other companies, warranty comparisons, etc. All useful information but preferably condensed to around 1 hour. I had to feed my son dinner 2 hours into the appointment and that wasn't a good enough queue to "wrap it up." I finally had to be blunt and say "okay I'm sorry but it's passed my sons bedtime" by that 3.5 hour mark. I'm sure they would have gone on longer if I didn't end the appointment. I put a deposit on my card and the rep told me it would be a hold on my card, and I wouldn't be charged. WRONG! My card was charged. Their cancellation paper work said I'd get my refund within 10 days, NOPE. It's been passed 10 days and no refund and no one is responding to me about my follow up. It's unfortunate that I have to dispute this charge with my credit card company since CDW isn't handling the issue on their end as agreed upon. Also super frustrating how CDW appears to be have amazing customer service IN THE BEGINNING, which almost made me pick them as the company to work with. As soon as I changed my mind, their customer service was almost nonexistent. While we're at it, I'd like to share that when other companies heard I was possibly picking CDW, they told me to look CDW up on BBB and the Contractors State License Board to see how many complaints they have filed against them. I did just that and was really surprised to see all the open cases. Really disappointed that now I'm going to open a case too since they won't refund me my deposit.
Excellent from start to finish Great customer service
We are so pleased with our beautiful new windows! We chose CA Deluxe due to their superior engineering, but would do business with them again because they went the extra mile. When I was disappointed that the trim didn’t match my house, they sent a painter out to make things right for me - even though my disappointment was totally my fault for not noticing the “paint ready” state that was explained in the contract that I signed. Excellent service, start to finish, five stars!!
They lived up their reputation! Our home is quite old. We’re thinking about selling it in the next few years. Getting new replacement windows is one of the best ways to increase the value, so we wanted to find the right company for replacement windows in Woodland Hills. That company was 110% California Deluxe Windows. I had an idea in mind of what I wanted our windows to be. In the in-house consultation, however, the idea was suggested of curved windows facing out towards the garden. That was a game-changer. We got those as well as new windows on the other side of the home as well. Each has really added something special to our home. Highly, highly recommended.
Thank you to everyone at California Deluxe Windows. We were nervous about getting new windows on our home as it had been about twenty years since we did so. They were starting to show their age so we know it was time to make a change. Between the two of us, we may have called each company that has California replacement windows. CDW made it all simple. The in-home evaluation showed us everything that we didn’t know about new windows. We didn’t know they were so energy efficient. We certainly didn’t know they could keep our home warm at night, too. It’s been a few months now so I just wanted to say how much we appreciate these windows and what they’ve done for our home.

This is the best place for French doors. We got replacement French doors, and they did a great job on the French door handles, locks, and everything else, too!
Very good to work with! California Deluxe Windows is the only custom window company in West Hollywood that answered all of my questions. Between my husband and I, we don’t plan on spending this much on windows again. Before we buy, we wanted to know everything. CDW’s people are so patient. Their windows and their customer service have exceeded our expectations.
Everyone I talked to at California Deluxe Windows has made this process easier. My parents are in the same home they’ve been in since the 60s. They haven’t had a window replacement in many decades. I think I reached out to every single company offering window replacement in Santa Cruz. Each just didn’t seem like a good fit, like they were selling my parents something. California Deluxe Windows installed windows that my parents love.
Never thought that getting replacement windows in Palos Verdes would be this easy! The crew arrived right on time, even after I’d just assumed they were going to be a little late. My wife and I just went about our day while they installed the windows. I think they were done before dinner time. The windows have been wonderful since.
What I like best about these windows is that I don’t have to clean them all of the time. I went with another company that offered replacement windows in Woodland Hills but their windows seemingly always got dirty or smudgy. It felt like I had to clean them every other week. These windows are so much lower maintenance, I can just enjoy them.
Our experience was that the California Deluxe Windows team was just fantastic. We scheduled a housewarming on the same day that we were going to have the windows and doors installed. We were worried that this would be too much, but the crew made it work. They installed all of the windows and French Door handles, locks, and everything else around us. They were done in a few hours and it’s like they weren’t even there.Thank you so much..
I would like to commend CDW for installing our windows when they said they would install our windows. We had worked with other home windows in Los Angeles companies but they would cancel our installation at the last minute, once not even giving us an excuse. These installers were professional, doing their work quickly and without incident. I’ve been recommending them to my friends.

I've referred and used California deluxe windows... on multi properties now , Dennis is a great guy , he will come to your place , on a schedule that accommodates your needs and deliver the services, I had a couple repairs to do , and Carlos fixed em perfectly, If something needs correction they do it...I love a company that stands behind their products, ty
Leaking window! Very disappointed. I have had to call for service repeatedly for over three months now and there's been no follow up back to re schedule for repair.
Terribly disappointed in my investment with California Deluxe Windows. My wife and I were extremely excited after being sold by the salesman and hearing about them on the radio. Boy we’re we wrong. We even waited a month for our installation which went well. Where everything fell apart is when the first rain came in October a month after our install our windows started leaking into our home. We called the office we were promised an appointment a month later note our windows are leaking and there’s more rain in the forcast. The appointment date came and it was a no call no show, given my wife took time off work to be available. We’ve left several voicemails and it’s been over a week and we still have not received one call from them even though they’re voicemail says they will return your call within 24 to 48 hours. I cannot express how disappointed we are.
Their Windows came in at a price almost 3x what some of the other competitors were offering so I didn’t end up going with CDW. The reason I’m writing this review, however, is because they won’t stop spamming me to give them a review. They have texted me at least 5 times since I have opted out and replied STOP to their marketing system. You wanted me to review you so badly, so here I am. Stop spamming people with your text messages. There is now a complaint filed with the California Attorney General’s office.
These folks were very good. They were very professional in the ordering and the installation was incredibly well done, professional, and fast. I would highly recommend them and use them again.
Our experience with CDW has been nothing short of amazing! We live in a home built in 1906 and our windows are not traditional dimensions & design, so none of the many other familiar window/door companies could accommodate our requests (much to my wife's and my extreme frustration after sitting through multiple presentations). Then my wife contacted CDW and they responded immediately with assurances that they construct custom size windows, so they would be able to take good care of us. Sure enough, Dennis Gorgolinski came out and sat down with us to listen to our needs and provided the solution we had been praying for. A CDW team member came out that same week to take measurements and they went to work producing our windows. When the windows were ready, they scheduled a day to come out for install of the 2 large multi-frame/multi-pane picture windows in our living & dining rooms, along with a small bathroom window, that had a sliding panel to allow it be opened for the first time. Their install team was non-intrusive, clean and was finished in 1 day. In fact, my wife was babysitting our 3-yr old grandson and he was fascinated with the install work, so they were very patient answering his incessant questions during their install and worked quietly during his nap time. The finished product looks incredible to us and it has been echoed by many neighbors and friends' complimentary comments, including many asking for CDW's info for their upcoming projects. Suffice it to say, we are extremely happy with CDW's work and actually are awaiting permit approval for another project that will involve more windows and a beautiful set of French doors. They also provided us with very favorable 24 mos interest-free financing that made these projects possible.
