Look no further than Derrick and his team! From the initial consultation, walking through the options, and of course the install we couldn’t be happier with the Coastal Comfort team. On top of it all their quote was super competitive against some of the common names around here. Couldn’t be happier with our new heating and AC system and the entire experience!
Derrick and his team were (by far) the most most responsive HVAC company we dealt with while getting bids to replace our condenser and furnace. He was very fairly priced and provided updates/pictures throughout the install. His team was very respectful and kept their work area spotless. Very pleased with the result and would highly recommend for any HVAC needs.
I have used Derrick several times to help diagnose the issues of both my home and rental property. He always called back immediately to set up a convenient appointment to come and take a look at the issue. My latest experience was at my home and my heater wasn’t working. Derrick diagnosed the problem immediately and explained my options between repair and replace. Because of the age of my HVAC and Derrick’s input I had a new system put in and couldn’t be more happy. Talking to Derrick is just like talking to a good friend and you can tell he honestly cares and wants you to be satisfied. He gave me several options on a new system and once chosen, he and Miguel had it installed and running in one day. Derrick gets my highest recommendation and you can’t go wrong with his knowledge and Service. Tremendous job guys, thank you very much.
We needed to get our HVAC replaced in our rental apartment as it was really old. We contacted Derrick and he was super quick to respond. He was able to get us booked quickly as it was urgent. We were worried that we would have to fly in to have the repairs done. That was not the case. Great communication was kept, and the work was completed with no issues. Work is of great quality. We are so glad we found this company and would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service!

Well we all like to know what is going on - - Right? - - Well communications is the cornerstone of this company. Derrick kept me informed on the status of the repair - - clearly explained the what and the why for the required components - - plus excellent recommendations for our complete HVAC system going forward. Miguel completed the install quickly and made sure the heater was functioning properly before heading off to his next job. Great guys + great service = satisfied customer. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs.
These guys were great! They came out quickly, did the job well and charged a reasonable price. All of the other companies only wanted me to replace my whole system, these guys did what I asked and fixed it.
The installation of my heater went very smoothly. The technicians were so personable and kind. My new furnace is wonderful! The cost was the lowest I found after I had about 5 companies give me quotes! Thank you Derrick for your quote and your kindness! They actually patched up my old duct system so I didn’t need a new one yet!!! Love them!!’

I called Costal Comfort asking for an assessment & 2nd opinion on a newly replaced furnace. Derrick, the owner, kindly spent his time to listen to the issue, exchanging text, video & FaceTime overt the phone with me to help & troubleshoot at no charge. Sadly our heater had stopped working and I picked this company solely on all the positive reviews and I am so happy I did. Derrick was amazing. Very fast to respond, on time, professional, and all over nice guy. I’d rather support a small business owner vs an overpriced company any day. He offered several repair options and our heater was replaced very quickly. Highly recommend!

I am so happy to have found Derrick and his HVAC company. Being a first time homeowner and new to the South OC area, I was nervous about who I would hire to accomplish the issue we were having. After a phone with Derrick, I set up and appointment with him to come give an estimate. He came on Monday, assessed that I had a blacklisted furnace(30 years old) in my home! I asked him what it would cost to replace. He gave me a no hidden estimate on a whole new furnace, and new ducts. His estimate was within my budget so I Immediately scheduled the project. They came on Wednesday at 7 am and knocked out the whole job by 1 pm! I was amazed. I can’t thank Derrick and his crew enough. Another huge thing for me is how clean their work is. They were very respectful of our home. I can’t wait to have him for my next home. If you’re thinking about it, hire Derrick right away!

I called Derrick at 8pm on a Saturday evening in the middle of the heatwave. He heard my kids in the background and even though he had been busy all day came to fix my AC unit. I could have cried and hugged him. But not only did he wow me coming so late to help, he was so kind, my kids loved him, he was quick and thorough. I’m so grateful for his help. I will ALWAYS use him and will recommend him any chance I get
