Non responsive to request for service on solar system, even after submitting an online request & making 2 follow up phone calls. 11 days later & no one at Sierra Pacific has contacted me. Extremely disappointing. Update 7-5-23: finally got an appt scheduled for today but Sierra just text cancelling appointment. Unacceptable!

My home has been tripping continuously due to the heat outside. I had a service call for my main panel and HVAC system. The techs Antonio and his right hand, Erick were very transparent and even fixed some of my outlets that were burnt out during the diagnostic. Hannah, Cody, and Ashley were VERY helpful as well. They kept me updated throughout the day as they scheduled me next day when I called in. To add, my design specialist, Don, was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable and was able to help me through the process of looking into a MPU and a new HVAC system.

DO NOT USE SIERRA PACIFIC. My name is Bruce Lomperski and welcome to my nightmare, I have been a long time customer of them, but no longer. About a year ago, our HVAC system went out (which they had installed prior about 12-13 years ago), they came out did a couple fixes(not cheap), but in the end it had to be replace. They sold me a Daikin unit which is like a big mini split, which by the way I had to pay cash, since finance department does not know their own programs. The company they are using only will finance PG&E, not SMUD customers). Installation was a couple days away and it had been in the 100 degrees and was going to continue to be that hot for quite a while. This was a huuuuggh burden on my family and I, but I was given no other options either pay cash or find someone else. Unit was installed and then a couple days later they had to come out and fix an issue, then again and again and again. Fixing issue after issue due to installation errors and the techs not knowing the equipment, everyone kept telling me it is new to them they are learning. Finally, they replaced the unit under Warranty, which was amazing and I was happy, the new unit was installed June 15 ,2023 and I am already having issues. Yesterday, as soon as the temperature reaches 100 degrees outside (got to 106 or 8 and is supposed to be hotter today), the unit starts to short cycle. Runs for about 15 minutes, then turns off for a couple minutes, then back on, then off and so on. But the compressor unit outside turns on and it takes the full 15 minutes for the inside blower unit to get up to speed / cooling, so all it is doing is blowing hot air. I’m so frustrated and at the end of my rope. The company wants you to contact them 1st before posting negative, well I have, so someone needs to do something to fix this issue permanently.

I'm NOT happy with Sierra Pacific! We purchased new windows and a new HVAC unit Oct 2022. We just had warranty work done on most of the windows, and my AC is broken for the second time. Their appts are weeks out, in the meantime I have no working AC and my house feel like a hot box. I've spent 2 hrs trying to call them this morning to get someone out here sooner but all I hear is a recording that says "Your call is in a customer service que, please stay on the line, you call will be answered asap" this recording repeats over and over and over and doesn't stop and no one picks up. Wish I would have gone with a different company! I do not recommend Sierra Pacific for any work.

Last year, we had our AC go out in August during a heat wave. We went with Sierra Pacific to replace it because of their promotion to get a free whole house fan. The installers dumped some kind of white liquid on our landscaping, installed the thermostat crooked, and never installed the whole house fan. We only found out they didn’t install it when the inspector walked through and asked about it. Multiple emails and calls did not resolve this and it really seemed like they just did not give af. We passed on the free maintenance because we just didn’t trust these workers in our home after our experience. I guess our experience was an anomaly based on other reviews, but I cannot recommend this business.

Our Shop Card deal with Costco put Sierra Pacific (SP) and Lennox in our life, a very good thing. Start to finish, SP was superb in every respect. We replaced our entire HVAC and everything was done on time and went quite well. Every human we encountered was professional and courteous, often beyond expectations. Now that we are looking at 100+ temps, I am pleased to report all is running well, and quiet. We were pleased with the cost and are now using the big Shop Card at Costco.

Wow am I glad I went with this company. Got a great deal and huge rebate thru costco and for much less money than competing bids. Top of the line lennox 2 stage heat pump that replaced my 28 year old unit. Their technicians are some the most professional tradesman I have ever hired. Polite, clean, and tremendous attention to detail. Great job

Recently purchased a Daikin system from Sierra Pacific and like the overall unit. When it comes to crews installing, you’ll get the good and the bad. Not the ugly. Communication with client is pitiful. I would not say avoid them if you are considering a new system, but expect bumps. Room to improve is the bottom line.

Everyone one I've dealt with at Sierra Pacific has been extremely professional, from the replacement/installation a couple years ago to the regular twice-year checkups. The technicians are polite, competent and willing to explain what they're doing. Highly recommended if you first-class, worry free service.

Recently had our HVAC go out. Contacted a few businesses for an estimate on replacement. Sierra stood out, not only on price but on quality too. So much so that we had them install a whole house fan too. The whole experience was smooth and on time. The whole house fan has literally made it so that we rarely turn on the A/C. All those involved in our replacement process were professional and more than willing to explain the process. I would highly recommend Sierra Pacific to anyone wanting and/or needing a HVAC replacement.

Sierra Pacific installed a heat pump water heater in our home in December 2022 (the delay in review is everything to do with us and not SP!). The crew was professional and on time. The electricians, Milton and Edward (if I have their names right) were particularly awesome. There was a equipment issue that caused the water heater to stop a few days after install, and Sierra Pacific sent someone out the same day, Christmas Eve, to get it fixed. Shania was a great point of contact in the office, and got us everything we needed when needed.

First of all despite paying a monthly service fee, getting an appointment and follow up took months. Regarding the system installed two years ago they found a problem now out of warranty, but they could repair for a fee. Stated they would follow up in one week and they did not. Month later after calling twice there is still a roof leak now visible on the cealing - from the pool solar that they installed along w house solar. Still it has still not been repaired. Then we recieced a quote for AC repair $1000(s) more than other quotes. Disappointed.

Just overall bad service and it takes multiple attempts to get anyone to answer the phone, especially in the service department. After finally getting an appointment and waiting for 2 weeks to have a 20 panel PV system checked, the wrong technician was sent to service pool panels instead of PV. Supposedly they were going to check my account but obviously that did not happen since I do not own a pool. Once again I had to call and listen to the same classical music and could not get through to the service department. I kept getting the excuse of how busy they were but if that busy perhaps more well trained staff need to be hired and your phone system should designate different areas for service. Very poorly managed so once you get a PV system installed do not expect much service afterward.

While not a customer of this business, I did pass one of their "big red trucks" on the road. Please properly secure the items in the back of your trucks, rather than what I saw: a trash can lid tied to a trash can full of cardboard, blowing around looking like both the lid and the cardboard, if not the entire can, are going to catch wind and smack the cars behind you. Not trying to say their work is poor quality, no experience with that, but the figured the owner might want to preempt possible property damage problems.

I am disappointed in the manner they sent a man to our house that wasn't qualified. We had to wait 3 more weeks, then it rained and we had to wait an additional 3 weeks for the service. You would think that since it was their error in the first place we would have priority in scheduling, we didn't.
