Highly recommend Fox and Family. My 96 year old mother's air conditioner stopped working during the recent heat wave. The company she has a contract with told us they were not even scheduling visits for three weeks. I called Fox and Family and was given an appointment the next day. Kyle was very professional and explained everything to my mother and myself. She is now doing business with Fox and Family and signed up for their yearly service. A big thank you to the scheduler who really went out of her way to get a repairman out to Mom!
These dudes are awesome. They show up on time, know what they're doing, and charge very fairly. We had them out recently for some warranty work, and they took care of it super fast, and it didn't cost us a penny. I highly recommend calling them first when you need your HVAC fixed or replaced.
I called Fox Family this past Friday afternoon about an urgent need, as the AC unit was not cooling properly, and with the temps getting over 100 degrees, a quick response and solution was needed. Keith was scheduled the following morning and even arrived early. He and Marco were both very professional and provided details on their plan of action, followed up with detailed report of recommendations to ensure the unit continued working properly. Very pleased with the overall experience with Fox Family, including the front office. All very responsive and professional, and the communication was top notch.
We made the decision to replace our aging heater and AC unit, both of which were constantly breaking down after decades of use. Colin Smith at Fox Family Heating and Air recommended we update our HVAC system with a heat pump that provides both heating and cooling. This would allow us to free up valuable floor space in the garage by relocating the equipment to the side of the house (see photos). Moreover, the new system would be much quieter, energy efficient and make us eligible for a $3.5K SMUD rebate and $2K federal tax credit. To ensure we were making an informed decision, we met with two other HVAC contractors. From the very beginning, Colin impressed us with his extensive knowledge, experience, and attentive listening. While the other contractors generally agreed with Colin's plan, they seemed more focused on upselling rather than truly understanding our needs. Ultimately, Fox Family Heating and Air instilled the most confidence in us by a long shot, so we went with them. What sets Fox Family Heating and Air apart is that Colin himself, who initially met with us, also led the crew that came to our house. In contrast, the representatives from the other two companies were merely salesmen, and installation would be handled by others. We believe it is crucial for homeowners to have the same person who plans the project also oversee the installation. This ensures clear communication and minimizes the chances of misunderstandings and frustrations. Our HVAC system works wonderfully now; you can rely on Fox Family Heating and Air to be honest, reliable and deliver exceptional service!

Scheduling an appointment had a quick response time, came out in 2 days. Kiyoki was very professional,checked all parts of the system, and replaced a part on the service call. Will gladly use Fox again. Thanks!
Guys were at my door 7am on the dot each day. These guys were awesome to work with and very helpful. I am enjoying my mini-split system.

If you’re looking for a professional, friendly and very competitive company to install a heat pump (we converted from natural gas heat), look no further. Other bids we received included “necessary duct replacement” and slightly less efficient equipment. Fox Family did not recommend new ducts (they were already upgraded with the prior system installation) and included a variable speed Mitsubishi system. The work they performed in the attic and outside looks flawless and took less than a day. The system is quiet and works fantastic. I highly recommend this company. (Morgese/Emmett contract.)
Fox Family made dealing with HVAC issues so much easier! We had the pleasure of having Keith come out and tell us what we needed to have done. He was honest and very professional. Even the staff when making the appointment was fanastic.
This is one of the greatest collections of HVAC people you find in the Sacramento area. If you want to learn something more about HVAC definitely go to YouTube and look them up. The owner does a lot of the videos and they're super informative.
We had Fox Family Heating and Air to our home to look at our existing HVAC system and their technician gave us their honest opinion - that our system was working well enough, but was definitely on the older side. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and my husband and I decided we should replace our system lest it go out after our baby arrived. They were very accommodating given our impending due date! They replaced the entire system in a day, and it turned out our kiddo arrived the day after installation, so the timing ended up working out, especially with the 100+ degree, multiple day heat wave we had a few weeks later. We have since had them out for a tune up and everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and professional. They're also abiding by all Covid protocols and even wear booties over their shoes when coming in from outside. Would definitely recommend.
Patrick was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He even helped carry in our groceries before leaving. Would recommend Fox Family to everybody.
Kyle was my serviceman, he was on time and diagnosed the problem and replaced the the needed ac parts and I was up and running again without issues.
The Tech. arrived as scheduled (actually a little early). He was very good and polite. He completed the heater maintenance and even cleaned the attic access panel when he was done. Great service and great company. I strongly recommend this company.
The process from the first service, estimate, assistance from the office, to final installation was so professional while having the feeling they cared about my needs, service, and questions. 11/10 rating. Our air conditioner suddenly quit working so we began the dreaded task of finding an HVAC company we could trust. We have had bad luck in the past. We set up an appointment with a large and well known HVAC company. The technician checked the unit and determined that the contactor had shorted and blew a fuse in the motherboard in the attic. He said it would be $650 to repair. I knew this was very excessive so declined the service. We then contacted Fox Family Heating and Air. Jassmine quickly returned my email and set up an appointment for the following day. Colin called prior to our scheduled time and said he could arrive an hour earlier. He called again to say he was a few minutes away. Colin was very professional and competent. He got right to it and had the repair done very quickly. And his price quote? $350 cheaper than the big name, big advertising company’s quote. Colin and Fox Family Heating and Air proved that we could get excellent quality HVAC repairs from a competent and honest company, and at a fair and reasonable price. We found our new HVAC company and if you use their services, you will too.
