I would like to give a shout out to Sam, the senior technician who came to my home last Saturday (on short notice) to provide a consultation for a furnace and air conditioner replacement. He spent an extended period of time giving full detailed and easy to understand information about how the appliances worked and what would be most appropriate for my needs. Very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.

Service was very prompt and thorough. Sam arrived on time and was very professional. He explained in detail what was causing the issues with our A/C unit and offered several options for repair. He was able to complete the work on site at the time of inspection in a timely manner. We really appreciate his dedication and will be using him again for any future needs!

I was looking to replace my heating and air conditioning unit. The representative told me that my system was not to code and that if they replaced my system that they wouldn’t pull permits because it would not pass inspection. He even contacted his install manager who advised the same thing. If my system was ever inspected, I could be forced to pull the system out and Smart Heating and Air wouldn’t be liable. The appointment window was between 10-12 and he showed up at 10:50. He made me feel like I couldn’t afford the system. He kept trying to push me into the “Bronze” plan. Not a good company in my opinion.
I had the pleasure to work with Jose and Benny. They treated my home and me with respect. They kept me informed throughout the process and work with me on the Nest thermostat. The is a top quality team and business. The whole process was above board.
We received a fair estimate. We will be calling them to install our unit.
They follow through with all their promises.
This was the third time I have gone thru Thumbtack to take care of work I couldn’t do myself. Smart Heating and Air Conditioning came out and took care of a furnace problem I had . Their technician, Sam, told me what the problem was and fixed it in no time! I will be using Smart Heating and Air Conditioning when the need arises again.
I have used several HVAC companies over the years and Smart Heating is the best. I would recommend Mike and his team. Emilio and Jose installed my new heater and air conditioner today. They were very professional, left the area clean and explained the work that was completed. Sam came by to check on the progress and answered all my questions. Thank you Smart Heating.

Our experience with Smart Heating and Air Conditioning was fabulous. Every part of the process was great, from our initial call about our old, dead furnace to the installation. They were very quick to respond, efficient, and professional. We'd spent a week in the cold trying to find a good, reputable service. One was a flake and another company was unresponsive. When we called Smart Heating and Air Conditioning, we got immediate attention and help. They scheduled us for the next day. The technician, Sam, arrived promptly the morning after our call to assess the situation with our 45-year old furnace. As we expected, he recommended replacing it. He offered a very reasonable estimate for the job and was able to schedule the installation for the next morning. He explained what to expect the next day. The installers, Jose and Emilio, arrived early in the morning. Before they came they texted us (as Sam also had done) and we could track their progress. They were really nice, friendly, professional, and efficient. They laid down mats to protect our floors and got right to work. They completed the installation quickly and unobtrusively, then tested it, showed us the work they did and explained the new furnace. They showed us how to change the filters and left us the manuals for the furnace and the new thermostat. It was such a pleasure and so refreshing to work with a company that actually provides excellent customer service and friendly, competent, and professional workmanship. I can't overstate how nice and how responsive everyone involved has been. We highly recommended this company.

Mike adjusted the air flow in the attic for the heating system. He explained what he did and adjusted the vents.

My furnace stopped working Monday morning. I called these folks around lunch time on Monday. First thing Tuesday AM Frank was here to get my furnace back working. In short order he had diagnosed the issues and got started on the repair. My furnace is working good as new now. I went up and took some pictures of the finished product. My 11 year old furnace is cleaner than it was when it was brand new and is running just as good as the day it was installed thanks to Frank. I know it can be hard to find good contractors. I would certainly call these folks again!
Bennie and his partner were great! They arrived at the stated time and finished early; they were out by noon. They easily and quickly took out the old furnace and put in a new one. Once it started up, the heated air was so relieving! Great to have warmth in the house again! Thanks to Smart Heating & Air Conditioning.
Benny arrived on time and explained the entire process to us for replacing our Furnace. He kept us updated on the progress and went over how the system works with us when the work was complete. He gave us recommendations on how to care for our new unit and made other recommendations for our AC Unit. We are extremely satisfied with the work performed by Benny and his partner.
