If I could give John Salas of Core Heating & Air Conditioning more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Calling on John Salas was the best decision I could ever have made. John installed a new a/c system in my home, and my experience with him and his skill was way above and beyond. He is very responsive and on time, and he is very fastidious in everything he does. He is very clean in his work, and he is attentive to the cleanliness of your home. He will install the very best equipment, and his skill in installation is stellar. He tests the system to make sure that it is working perfectly. He stands behind his work 100%. His HVAC tools are to the highest and most modern standards. He knows HVAC systems backwards and forwards. He works for large companies, such as car dealerships. and other large companies, and though he doesn't advertise, he has thousands of customers, just by word of mouth, because he is that good. He will repair and/or install your HVAC system as though he were installing it at his own home. One of the main things that I would really emphasize about John is that he really cares about his work and his customers, and he insists on doing the job to perfection, down to the smallest details. His job is his passion and his bliss. He posts tutorial videos for other HVAC companies on TikTok, and he has a huge following, and he is very well-respected in the community. And, as icing on the cake, John has a great personality. He is a wonderful person, and he is a delight to have in your home. I have found my forever HVAC tech in John Salas, Core Heating & Air Conditioning, and I can't recommend him highly enough. We need more than 5 stars! ****************
I've worked with John and Core Heating & Air twice now, and he will always be our go-to for support with our heating/AC. He's extremely knowledgeable and experienced; meticulous about his repair work and getting to the bottom of a problem; and devoted to carefully addressing the issue at hand -- without cutting corners or cheating the customer of high quality repairs. I've never met someone so attentive to detail and invested in the work. Thank you, John!
This man is amazing!!! He explains everything. He took his time and worked through the root of the problem. When I say he took his time it just means that he will get to the bottom of things but the timeline was amazing. The price was More than fair. Please make him your first call you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much John you are our go to guy forever.
John came out the same day I messaged and was thoroughly delightful and efficient. Rather than sell me on a new furnace unit or parts I did not need, he cleaned my older unit and replaced two parts. John even patiently showed me how to clean the filter and do minimal maintenance in between yearly service checks. This is important to single mom types…lol. My pets loved him too! John is a gem. I'm not a yelper but if you're looking for quality work from an honest expert for a fair and reasonable price this is it. There is a reason he has so many irrefutable 5 star reviews. He called me back within an hour of my call at the end of his workday, and fit me into his schedule the next morning. He had the OEM brand name gas valve needed for the repair in his truck, and completed the work within two hours even in a cramped attic. I will call him again if needed for my Bryant HVAC system. He also does ductless units which I will call him for as well. His work was $500 less than what I was quoted for from KC Home services. Spend your money with someone who owns their business, guarantees their work and doesn't inflate their prices to pay for a fleet of trucks and unhelpful employees.
John was amazing! I called him late Friday evening and he was here by 9:55 Monday morning. Not only is he professional, but he's very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he truly cares about his clients. I would 100% recommend him for the job. Plus his pricing was incredibly fair. He even came back to ensure there weren't any gas leaks. Calling him thorough would be an understatement. I could go on and on about how awesome he was!
Best service ever received on diagnosing and repairing a persistent furnace noise. John diagnosed and quickly fixed a buzzing noise coming from our furnace that could not be fixed by other local HVAC service companies. He also identified and fixed several other issues from the original installation that were problematic. Great service!
I rarely post reviews but I have to recommend John Salus. He first came to correct a furnace issue, which he did promptly, honestly, and fairly. Today he checked our water heater and gave honest and fair advice when others could have easily taken advantage of us. John is the best!

John was great, extremely fast response getting here. Troubleshot our AC, found a pretty rare fault, diagnosis and repair happened quickly. He even took the time to clean up and do some extra maintenance on our system. Fair price, fast service, third time using his service, best in town! Thanks Core Heating and Air Conditioning!

We had a problem with our return on our heater. We contacted John, and he was able to come take a look at our heater quickly. John was super honest, knowledgeable, and professional! We would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

When the heater in our bookstore wouldn’t start, John from Core Heating and Air Conditioning was able to come out quickly, diagnose the problem with the old equipment, and get it running again just in time to ward off winter’s worst. Not only does John know his stuff, he is personable, reliable, and willing to think outside the box to solve problems. We’d definitely recommend Core Heating and Air Conditioning.

John did us a solid a couple days ago when my attempt to install a nest thermostat didn't go all that well. We started to panic with the heating not working properly, extremely cold weather, and a newborn at home. Almost every other service we called were days if not weeks out. John came to our place that same day and looked over our whole system, fixed existing wiring issues, made sure everything was working properly and installed the nest properly all within an hour and even managed to teach me a few things and how to maintain things myself. He's an extremely nice guy to chat with and very reasonably priced. He will be the first person I contact now for any HVAC related issues.
John came out and saved us when the heat didn't work this morning. Fast and delightful and we have heat again at a reasonable cost.
