Our AC broke down last week and we got several quotes. Global Heating and Cooling Services got back to me within 10 minutes. We were able to set up an appointment to assess our situation. John arrived on time and give us several options. We elected to replace our old noisy unit for a quiet and efficient new unit. That was Friday and on Monday, his crew came and had us up and running in just three hours. They also hauled away the old unit as well. The service agents were polite and professional. Would definitely recommend Global Heating and Cooling to family and friends!

John an his team at Global Heating and Cooling installed our air conditioner and replaced our furnace. The experience was excellent. He responded quickly to questions and gave us useful suggestions for the products that would be energy efficient, and compatible with our older home (built in 1963). We felt the price was a great deal, especially for the service we got. Once the work was underway the team finished quickly in one day. The team was amazing. They were knowledgeable , efficient, and clean. They cleaned the hallway after finishing their work. John helped make an appointment for us for the duct pressure testing and assisted the city permit process.Things went smoothly, and we are very happy with our new AC. John and his team went above the beyond to help us. Our English is not good ( this review was translated by our daughter). We were worried that we wouldn't understand and that it would be a stressful process. He and his team explained clearly and were very patient. The person who installed our AC walked us through each step, down to making sure we knew how to the new thermostat. We were touched at the level of service we received. We highly recommend John and his team.

I highly recommend GHSC since we had great experiences with GHCS's owner John Giovanni and his crew replacing our broken furnace and AC with a heat pump in January 2023 and in May 2023 replacing our 15++ year old deteriorated duct system under our house. John is great at giving simple explanations and straightforward, transparent estimates for the work. He explained that with the temperature range in the South Bay that the entry level system was efficient for the size of our house and he didn't try to upsell us on a more expensive system. He also told us that a heat pump and our existing solar are a great combination, and since prices for gas furnaces and AC have risen due to coming elimination of replacement with gas furnaces in 2025, the cost of heat pumps are comparable to gas furnaces and AC. Since we wanted to do our part to use clean resources, it was great to find someone who was so knowledgable about the benefits of heat pumps. For the duct work John came out and we went room to room with him advising us on getting rid of unnecessary ducts to greatly increase heating/cooling efficiency and not recommending adding any ducts. John's 2 person crew for the heat pump and 4 person crew for the duct replacement were excellent - very professional and friendly throughout the work of demo, install and clean up. The duct work was estimated to take 2 days, but they completed it in 1 day! Our new heat pump and ducts are amazing! The heat pump heats our house very efficiently compared to our gas furnace. The new ducts increased the air flow by about 4 times what we had before, and the system is now much quieter since it's all new flex ducts instead of the metal ducts which rattled with the power of the heat pump's air handler.

Our thermostat wasn't getting power anymore on Friday evening. I called and was able to get an appointment for Monday. They came out first thing Monday morning and fixed the issue quickly. They were super friendly while scheduling the visit and doing the actual work along with explaining what was being done so we could understand. Happy to have our AC up and running before the hot days ahead for a very reasonable charge!

Extremely unprofessional and rude! This morning they were blocking our neighbors driveway and the street with their van, and when politely asked to move they immediately responded by flipping them off and cussing and swearing at them and in front of their small children no less! Despicable people working here! We are telling everyone in our neighborhood group how they behaved and making sure nobody uses them around here again. Do not give your money to animals like this.

After multiple attempts to get my AC working, I choose Global Heating and Cooling last year to diagnose the leak in the AC system. John immediately came to diagnose the issue and added some dye to the system to seal and find the leak. He provided 2yr warranty for the service. While the system worked last year, this year when I turned on the AC about a month ago, I felt that the AC unit is not cooling the house. I called John, and he immediately came to diagnose the problem. He found the problem in my compressor unit outside and rust in the coil. His diagnosis was to replace both the external compressor unit and the coil as it was completely rusted. John provided a very reasonable quote for the replacement unit. He came this week to replace the unit and coil. He and his team are very courteous, professional, and thorough in the entire process. I will recommend Global Heating and Cooling and John for any AC related job.

They told me that the inducer motor needed to be replaced, and quoted me $1K for it. I then had another technician look at the furnace. He fixed it for $75, and the heater is working now. They make up some reason for some expensive repairs and walk away with the diagnostics fee. They told me that credit card payment has an additional fee, and convinced me to pay with cash. So now I can't do a charge back either.

John picked up his phone on a Sunday at 3:30. Good sign. This company lives up to the rave reviews. I was trying to diagnose and fix my 20-year old Carrier unit myself, and after 3 hours and two trips to the store I gave up and called John. Not the best use of 3 hours, and I was in a bad mood because I may have damaged the unit by grounding a wire and probably making it worse. John's diagnostic rate is fair and his parts/job rates were reasonable. But because I had been mucking with it, he wasn't sure he wanted to get involved in case I had fried the board on an old unit. So, he talked me through how to do a reset and it worked, and I have heat again. I offered to pay for the advice and he said no. I don't recommend working on your own unit. Call John instead. I will call him for a quote when this one gives up the ghost.

Initially I called Global Heating for an issue with my old old furnace and a young gentleman came out, Joey. He was very professional and very knowledgeable for his age. He came in and assessed the noise from our furnace fan motor. He was very clear with issues he inspected and fixed the fan motor mount that was loose. No Charge. 2 weeks later the fan was at it again. I decided to call them again and upon Joey's arrival he mentioned the bearings were bad. So, instead of fixing it we decided to inquire about replacing the entire central air system, furnace and ac unit as they were installed in the early nineties. Joey gave us a quote and we committed with a deposit. Now i am don't know much about HVAC systems and had only done some research but I had questions about what we were getting in our quote. Long story short, Sal and Giovanni both listened to my concerns and questions and in fact worked with me since I had obtained another quote. After agreeing on the particulars, we agreed to move forward with the new quote. They were very accommodating. They said it would take roughly a month to get the units. About 2 weeks later, Gio contacted me and gave me an update and actually upgraded our system due to delivery issues. a week later he said we were ready to go and set up a date the following week. Installation day was great. The crew showed up. They were professional and did a great job. Gio came in the morning to check on the crew. Later in the day both Gio and Sal showed up and I appreciated the fact that they came to assure that the system was installed and operating. Success! In summary, I try to support local vendors and especially the one's you can trust. Trust and professionalism is what I found from Global Heating and I highly recommend their services for your HAVC needs! Where do I start This summer has been hard on all of us with these fires, covid, and unbearable heat. Of course my ac had to die on us. Fast forward....... After multiple attempts calling different hvac companies no one I mean no one called me back But global heating did. 👏 yay👏 They did all me back and they were very helpful. Was having issues with a 20+ year old furnace / cooling system in our home. John came out and looked at, and we discussed a new system. He recommended a Carrier system, and through my own research, we concluded on a good system that was larger than our old one (5 ton vs. 4 ton) since we were having some issues with cooling the house properly. They apologized about a week wait to get it installed due to the current demand they had, but that was no problem for me. The arrived on time and the guys were as courteous as could be. It took a bit longer to get the system in than was first thought, largely because it was a 100 degree day and it was very hot in the attic where the furnace is located, and they had to take breaks from time to time. They adjusted the dampers to better control airflow and since then the system works great. We can keep the house cool at 78 degree setting which was impossible with the old system. We had one minor problem after installation, and John had one of his team out right away (and again on time) and had things resolved within an hour. Highly recommend these guys.

My AC unit and Furnace all the sudden stopped working and I called Cost Less Heating & Air and as before, they were able to send a technician the next day. John showed up on time and wearing a mask and gloves. He was very thorough checking all systems and by a "system of elimination" figured out the problem. He was able to fix the issue and now both units are working as before. He was also able to point out some discrepancies with the original wiring of the system that he was able to quickly adjust to prevent further problems. Their prices are fair and if I were to need further assistance in the future, I will call them gain.
