What I am going to address here is why you should consider to contact this company and use their services. Sal, the owner, replied to my messages in no time, promptly called me and explained everything I like to know. No pushing. I have requested bids from four companies to replace our old, broken AC condenser and fire furnace. After I carefully examined and compared all proposals, Sal's came out with the best configuration and cost, meet my budget. About his crew. Members are with great skills and attitude, very pleasant to work with. Good communications when performing the installation. We have few "problems" uncovered during the work, Sal and his crew explained to me in details with solutions, to my surprise, Sal expressed there is no additional cost to me. This totally eased my mind. They finished the job in one day as promised. You have every right to find vendors to do the job for your HVAC needs, but never leave Cost Less Heating & Cooling out.
Sal and his crew installed a new furnace and AC unit in March, 2022. They also cleaned out the air ducts. They were awesome from start to finish, professional and responsive! They arrived on time, finished in less than a day, and cleaned up after themselves. The quality of their work was very good and the price was reasonable. This past week I had a question about our upcoming inspection. Marian took care of it in a heartbeat and emailed me what I needed (wish dealing with the city were as easy).
I called in the late afternoon and they had a technician out first thing the next day. Giovanni was prompt and professional and was able to get the replacement part and installed it quickly. Highly recommend for fast, professional service.
I wish I could give Cost For Less heating 100 stars. I went with a different company to re-do my entire duct work because Cost Less Heating and Cooling wasn't available for this type of job at the time. Other company was to remove asbestos from the boots, and put brand new ducting. Safe to say other company botched job. Other company damaged my ceiling(below attic where they worked on ducting), hole in plenum box. I spoke with Marianne, amazing lady from Cost Less heating and Cooling looking for help to have them please come out to inspect a botched job from other company, she told me owner would give me a call. I spoke to the owner of Cost for Less Heating and he gave me amazing advise that saved me thousands of dollars. 1st he asked if the other company had pulled permits. I told him other company had told me permits weren't needed. Immediately he guided me through code mandates, permits are a must for that type of job, and that a title 24 company and the city should test and inspect. He gave me amazing advise, as soon as I mentioned title 24 to other company and that I was calling San Jose to inquire about permits, other company immediately said they would send someone to fix work, pull the permit, and use title 24 company to run a HERS test and get their work fully inspected by the city. Owner of Cost Less Heating and Cooling charged me 0 for his time and advise, he truly was sympathetic for what I was going through. I kept him on phone for a while and he answered all my questions free of charge. Without his guidance I would have never known permits are a must, would have never had the other company's job fully inspected by city. Prob would have paid another company to re-do the work. Eternally grateful, and happy there are honest businesses with amazing people that are willing to help.
We had a wonderful experience with patrick from Cost less heating and cooling . He was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a thorough job, and we are delighted with the results. My son and I both have asthma, so tho was a much-needed service. We are so thankful for cost less and their team

I saw the reviews for CostLess and contacted them after AC stopped working during the heat wave. Appt was scheduled and Sal arrived on time in the 2 hour scheduled time window. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. Thanks CostLess!
My AC unit and Furnace all the sudden stopped working and I called Cost Less Heating & Air and as before, they were able to send a technician the next day. Sal showed up on time and wearing a mask and gloves. He was very thorough checking all systems and by a "system of elimination" figured out the problem. He was able to fix the issue and now both units are working as before. He was also able to point out some discrepancies with the original wiring of the system that he was able to quickly adjust to prevent further problems. Their prices are fair and if I were to need further assistance in the future, I will call them gain.
During this pandemic and heat wave I have called multiple companies to come and fix my broken ac I found cost less heating and cooling and they came out to the rescue .Being that my ac is 35 years old I decided to replace my unit.sal scheduled the Installation the very next day and did a great job. No wonder they are highly rated on google and yelp Thank you cost less heating and cooling

Excellent service! Diagnosed the problem with my a/c quickly, explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions patiently. Salvatore presented the various options and how long each would last, recommended a reasonable solution, and took care of it right away. So glad not to get pressured for an expensive unnecessary repair! He also strictly followed COVID protocols. Very pleased - will call CostLess again when I need HVAC service.

Are all the amazing reviews of Sal legitimate? Well, after having just finished with our appointment, I can give you a resounding "yes, absolutely". He was extremely polite, offered to come out early because he had finished early with another customer, and when he arrived, the following things really stood out to me: - We were able to organize the initial visit entirely over Yelp (pretty cool!) - Sal came fully prepared with all the equipment needed - He knew exactly what to check for right away - He even offered to show me exactly what he was looking for and what needed to be fixed - Here's the crazy part; Sal wanted me to know that the A/C unit was most likely still in warranty and we *could* if we wanted ask the original installers to take care of it. How honest and trustworthy is that? He's literally willing to turn away business if it would be the right thing to do. (We opted to go ahead and have him fix it anyway) - He had a brand new tank of refrigerant, and also offered a great deal on a UV seal to prevent the leak from happening again - He explained the entire process as he was performing the fix - When it was all done, he even put a sticker on the A/C unit to inform anyone in the future to first and foremost check with the original manufacturer to see if it was in warranty, just to make sure that no one wastes any money. At no point did he try to upsell me on anything. At no point did I feel like I was just agreeing with something without understanding it. This is top notch service, and a testament to small business and how it can succeed. Our the difference in the temperature of the air being blown now is unbelievable. Seriously. It's hot as heck right now. Don't hesitate, call/message these guys and stop looking elsewhere.
I found cost less heating and cooling through google,Fabian and Jeremy did an awesome job installing my new furnace/ac. They were very curtious/friendly and very hygenic/clean. You cant go wrong with this company and its great service.
My ac cronked out on me mid heatwave! Desperately called multiple companies, but none were available same day or within the week. Found costless & Marian responded back to me right away, knowing that they were 2wks booked out, but she was able to squeeze me in same day. Fortunately, Gio and Sal made it earlier than schedule and fixed my ac. Price was reasonable and trustworthy plus absolute honesty . THIS is the place to get your HVAC repairs.

My AC was working, but having a hard time holding temp. Sal from cost less diagnosed the problem and corrected it the same day! We will definitely call again for our heating/ac needs!
Really fast and helpful. A big crawled into the circuit and blew out a few parts. Sal got here ahead of schedule, found the problem, fought a rat, fixed the AC, all under 30 minutes. Speedy!
This is the second time I’ve called Cost Less for service and the second time I’ve been happy with the results. Scheduling an appointment was easy and I’ve only known Sal to be professional, knowledgeable and personable. He gets in, does his thing and doesn’t try to upsell. If he sees something that might cause problems down the road, he’ll point it out and provide his guidance - which is something I really appreciate. If your furnace or A/C needs attention, I would absolutely recommend Cost Less Heating and Cooling.
I called yesterday afternoon about a problem with my AC, and got an appointment for this afternoon. Got a call this morning, to see if it was ok to come earlier, so I had working AC by 10:30am this morning!
