Nico was professional and on-time. He completed the service quickly and even called out an issue of concern with my heat pump that was not part of my original call. Thanks to him discovering this, I can now get this issue looked into and solved.
Dylan arrived at the beginning of the 2-hour window provided, and explained the AC annual maintenance service inclusions, and asked me for questions. The work was completed in good time and at a reasonable cost. The timing of the service worked out well, as I needed to run the AC for the first time this year less than a week after Dylan's visit. I will be using 1st Choice again, and have no reservations recommending them highly.
5 star experience all around! This is my second time using 1st Choice Heating & Air and I will certainly use them again for my HVAC needs. They were very responsive in making the appointment. The technician, Jeff, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. Definitely a great experience.

The entire process from quote to installation was efficient and painless. We replaced an old AC unit with a heat pump and the installation crew was quick and thorough. I would recommend 1st Choice Heating and Air Conditioning for your HVAC needs.
What an amazing experience. I picked the top AC companies with numerous reviews from yelp. I researched and received quotes from 7 different companies in OC. I ultimately selected 1st Choice AC and heating and I’m so glad that I did. Corey took the time and explained all my options for electric and gas. Further, explained the options of 1 stage and variable. Didn’t try to upsellme but explained the benefits of all models. After I researched all the models on my own, I took the time and selected what was best for my needs and family. Corey continued to maintain the line of communication and answered all my questions. And it helped that 1st choice is a premiere Lennox dealer. After doing some research, I come to find out carrier and Lennox hold the market in AC and are the oldest companies out there. I received a lot of communication and reminders for the up coming days. Day of installation I had 3 installers come out, Alex, ray and Melvin. They had moved some furniture around to access some areas. At the end of day, they cleaned up and put the furniture back the way it was. They vacuumed all the areas, which was a relief as I was concerned for the health of our kids and kiddo who just started crawling. During the installation we ran into a small obstacle; however, they gave me some options and completed the work at no extra charge. Further, we live in an older house which initially had poor air flow and duct work. Before I even requested, they informed me that they noticed the poor ducting and planned to add another duct to have better and equal airflow. At the end, they explained how the system worked and what to expect. My new AC provides strong flow throughout the house with all dampers and vents open. With my old AC, I had to close certain vents to have more flow in other areas and rooms throughout the house. I am very pleased with 1st Choice and the team of installers that came out. After 20 years, home due for much needed HVAC upgrade. Received 5-6 bids and glad to work with Corey, Eric, Chris and entire 1st Choice team. All the boxes checked: transparent, on-time, friendly, detailed just to name a few.. highly recommend
I had another company to our home before 1st Choice, and they had no clue what was wrong with our heating system. They actually told us that we needed to replace it for $13,000! The 1st Choice technician was so knowledgeable and professional. After checking the system, he explained how our particular system works, and there is absolutely nothing mechanically wrong with it! It’s an old system, but it doesn’t need to be replaced. I cannot thank 1st Choice enough! Wonderful, honest company!
Excellent service. They installed a new HVAC system in my rental property and serviced the A/C at my primary residence. Honest and knowledgeable, with fair pricing. Communication before, during and after appointments was stellar. Consistently showed up on-time and prepared. Service people were outstanding. I can't say enough good things about Chris and the team at 1st Choice. I have an original furnace from the 80's that I have been trying keep alive. This was the first time I've used 1st Choice and I will never use another firm again. We are in a cold snap and I'm sure they were busy but Steven M (service manager) got two techs out to my house right away. When it proved to be a bigger issue, he came out himself to "make sure we get this fixed". He ended up troubleshooting my entire system, including the AC and the electric outlet I was using to get to the bottom of the issue. He then found a replacement part for a discontinued igniter. A couple of other things to mention. They never tried to sell me on a new unit (even though it's obvious that I need one), they never asked for a change order, they were 100% focused on solving my problem. I'm happy to say, the old gal is up and running and will probably last another winter. I will be talking with Eric and the team about getting a new system before the summer heat wave hits. I can't say enough about the skill and customer service of the whole outfit, from the top-down. I would never go anywhere else.

Installed 2 air conditioners and heaters in one day. The team of 6 did excellent work and their demeanor was very professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants fair and honest service.
