I called beforehand to make sure they worked with manufactor warranty since my unit is newer and it still covered parts I made sure they did and that's why I contracted them to come and evaluate. Then they get here and say no they will not work with them and "if I take the cost of the fan wold that make you happy" the manager Dave was rude and did not address that now they wanted me to pay over 1k the technician was nice but the company are scamers

I paid $199 upfront for them to come out and refill my refrigerant. I mentioned this multiple times when booking the appointment. Then a technical comes out and gets in my attic and pokes around - doesnt refill my refrigerant. My wife and dogs are sweating inside because it’s 105 degrees outside and 90 degrees inside the house. Technician says he needs to bring in a specialist. Specialist comes 2.5 hours later and quotes me $11,000 dollars. That’s fine - but where’s my refrigerant so I can last the next couple days? “Specialist” says “that’s weird, maybe the first guy didn’t have any. I’ll call some people and see.” He calls people outside my house and then comes back 20 min later and says “oh, ethically and morally we can’t give you refrigerant because we don’t know how long it will last” but they still took my $199 dollars without doing anything. Specialist calls some guy in Madera, his “former boss” apparently and quotes me 700 dollars to refill refrigerant. I literally had refrigerant refilled 4 years ago for 120 bucks. Why the 600 dollar increase I asked? He said “ oh you wouldn’t believe it - in 2021 alone it went up 18%”. So I’m supposed to believe it went up 682% since then? This place is a total scam. They took my 200 dollars and did absolutely nothing. Im in the process of getting a refund - if they give it to me I will definitely take down this negative review - but they’ve had 2 hours to contact me since I submitted my official complaint and I’ve heard nothing so far.

We are Harry and Griselda Garvin. We both had the pleasure of meeting Noah Gonzalez for an A/C tune-up. Noah was professional in explaining to us what he was checking on our A/C system and what repairs would be needed. Noah had access to consult with a Supervisor over the phone when some aspect of a repair needed to be done or further explained or we needed clarification. He provided good service and was able to give us a fair price on our repair. He was also able to change out and upgrade my thermostat that I wanted changed. He provided a model that was newer and that was easier for me to read and make adjustments. Noah was attentive and was helpful in taking care of my problems and coming up with solutions that were agreeable. I appreciate his honesty, care and attention to detail. Thank you. The technician only took picture of the circulating pump in the attic, he just looked at our system, did not check thermostat and the outside unit. He did not turn on the unit to check out whether the unit was functioning efficiently. It was a waste of money and time! No maintenance service was done at all!

I was highly disappointed with this company. They were aggressive. Perceived as dishonest. I can't be completely certain as the supervisor failed to call me back to address my concerns. They set up my install and pulled permits and I hadn't even signed a contract or seen an estimate. They refused to provide a written estimate and said I had to agree that day or that Costco wouldn't agree to the sale. It was a horrible experience. I went with a more legitimate company. Zero stars is more appropriate.

I called monarch to come out to check my non working heater the technician showed up supposedly checked the heater then said o need to check your AC unit and get specifics on it and the unit is on the outside of the house the furnace is in the attic, but what he was doing was getting specifics to send another “technician” to try to sell me on buying a new vent system including air ducts new ventilation system plus a “better” heating and AC unit with the cost of $62,000 and our home is 12 yrs old so of course we got another company to check our furnace turned out to be a blown fuse, so beware monarch’s deceiving methods.

saw monarch at Costco. I like Costco and thought that the company that they refer would be reputable. so, I scheduled for a tech to come out... after many explanations my family and I decided to update our unit. our living room gets hot so we asked them to add a new vent. after everything was installed I now have little ventilation in the rest of the house. I wake up in the middle of the night hot in the bedroom and have to turn on the fan. shouldn't it be more efficient now with all the new install??? sadly no. after 3 day of this issue I decided to call monarch to send out a technician...I spoke with Margarita.... she scheduled for today for a tech to come between 3 to 5pm. it is now 10mins to 5pm. I called their office...the girl that answered the phone says...unfortunately I'm not on their schedule. I wasted my afternoon waiting for a tech....my daughter missed her gymnastics class.... yet we are not schedule. and this isn't the first time this incident happened... don't sign up for their membership.... they tell you your problem is priority. truth is after that contract is signed you're just another annoying customer on their phone line. 3 years later and still did not learn my lesson from this ridiculous company. I had called Costco and had also informed them regarding the situation with Monarch. I've also wrote their membership department to cancel and refund my membership fees. The lack of communication between their dispatching team, and managers is just plan ridiculous/negligence.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Heater went out Wednesday, called them and they said they'll be out Friday. Got a text saying that the tech will be there around 9:30-10:30 am so I got my brother in law to come stay at the house since my wife and I both work. My brother in law stayed until about 12:30pm because he had other things to take care of, 15 mins later the tech showed up on my doorbell camera (no text no nothing). Since there was no one there they had to dispatch someone to come out on Saturday since it's considered an emergency because of the cold weather. Tech checked my unit, parts and labor was about 1,000 dollars (no big deal considering I have children and we have no heat). Tech told me that the warehouse was closed and he won't know if they have the parts I need until Monday. Monday I get a call from the tech saying that they don't have the parts so he will next day air the parts. Tuesday comes and I planned to take a half day off so that I can be there when he comes. I called the office for an update, no update but she said she'll make sure someone calls me for an update. It's after 3pm, no call, no update and still no heat in winter. The saddest part is that we pay for the preferred customer membership.

Most dishonest person in the business is B Burns... taking advantage of good people. Take pictures, documents at time of agreement, and everything written down by him. Otherwise, you'll end up paying thousands of dollars to them.

I scheduled a Tune Up but got a sales pitch instead. Jose did not service anything or inspect the duct work. He could not answer questions about how to improve the performance of my system. Instead, he told me every component of my functioning system was failing and quoted outrageous prices for replacing things: $882 for a fan motor ($266 online), $1100 for a $155 circuit board etc. Then he launched into a well rehearsed sales pitch for a new system, which he repeated over and over. I scheduled an estimator for the next day that never showed up. Don’t waste your time and money! Very suspicious that there are so few negative reviews. They directly solicited a review before the “Tune Up”. Hmm. Monarch: you could refund my $69

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Monarch quoted me an $11,000 job to fix my compressor, pump down &recharge plus duct source removal for my a/c unit. They also offered to finance. I called for a 2nd opinion from a person referred to me and the total cost to fix my unit was $800 to replace a $40 dual run capacitor + labor. Nothing was wrong with the compressor. The duct source removal, the pump down, etc…NOTHING quoted from Monarch needed to be done. This was a grossly exaggerated diagnosis and quote suggesting fixes that were in perfect running condition. They have refused to call me back to explain.

They sold us a complete unit, and promised us no out of pocket expense moving forward for three years to service twice a year. When we had them come out the first time after buying the unit they try to nickel and dime us for every little thing when we try to explain to the man he said I have nothing to do with that so it seems a bit shady that they would promise you all these things to get you to buy an $11,000 unit then once you do, they don’t honor they’re promises… I’ve had a couple of coworkers and friends meeting AC services and I’m sad to say that I cannot recommend this company

The new management does a great job resolving issues that were not addressed previously and truly care about their existing customers. They listened to our concerns and issues we had since our unit was installed 2 ½ years ago and took it upon them to fix everything once and for all. We really like Travis as our preferred tech. He clearly explains what we need to do to maintain our unit running smoothly and avoid future issues. Also he makes sure he answers all of our questions and addresses our concerns before he leaves. Overall, we are very happy that someone finally listened to us and took the time to come to our home and do it personally. We feel pleased that everything got resolved and that they were very professional at addressing every little problem and even added extra years of warranty for our peace of mind.

In December 2021, I had an issue with my heater; whenever I turned off the heater, the fan would suddenly turn on by itself and blow cold air into the house; off and on. I called Monarch to diagnose the problem and they kept saying there was nothing wrong. The problem reoccurred again and I called. Long story short; 4 different techs, 4 appointments later and they were unable to diagnose the problem. Finally Monarch resolved the issues.

Well, I called them out to service my a.c. and the guy went on roof,and came down fast, and said he didn't service it, cause the motor blew up. And he charged me a 100 bucks anyways. Not cool. Then said it would cost me 12,000.00 to replace it. I can get a brand new a.c. installed for 6,000.00 it's worth shopping prices.
