BEWARE!!!!! An employee botched the repair job on the AC unit causing it to go out completely. When called about the dead unit, the employee angrily spent about a minute looking at it and left. He refused to talk or answer any questions. It was later discovered that he submitted a report stating the unit had been tampered with by the homeowner, voiding the pending insurance claim. The owner may know what he's doing and be honest, but at least one employee doesn't know what he's doing and will lie to cover his errors.
Had climate controls send out to my home through my sears homewarranty. First my deductible was $60 they Said $65. Ok. They were going to order parts. Took them almost 2 weeks when parts had been in stock at warehouse. I had to continually call to see what was next. Only time Mark called me and took the time was to receive payment. Had to call inspector myself because they never did like they said they would. I guess that is the least of it. Once they installed parts the water pan was left tilted and cause water to run out causing damage to 2 room ceilings and a fire detector. Came one time after to take a look and do a test. Also test paper work was supposed to be done the nect day and it wasn't till over 2 weeks later. i received it only because inspector came and he had to call the company. I Have been calling ever since and no answer, i have left voice mails and no call back. This was back in june and this company has not finished the work. we are in November!
Another American Home Shield contractor who has trouble completing job promptly. As this was the 2nd contractor AHS sent to my home, actual request for service was made in December 2014. The installation was not finaled by the city until the end of March. That's 3 months which I find to be way too long an amount of time. As they state in their post, friendly yes, fast absolutely not.
