High praise to Giant HVAC company. Joe provided options and a competitive price for upgrading my old 1983 furnace. I was flying in from a different state to start and complete the renovation of my condo. Joe and his excellent team met all my timelines - work completion, inspections and permits. I really appreciated Joe keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this company for their expertise, reliability and great customer service.
Joe performed a yearly AC system maintenance. He was on time and very efficient and friendly and charged a reasonable price. We will be using him for all our HVAC needs in the future.
Joe and staff were fantastic. A particularly unique case which Joe was able to solve through his persistent willingness to provide a solution.
Giant HVAC is a good company. Overall, I would give them a four-star. This is the score breakdown: cost: 4.8 friendliness: 4.5 work quality: 4.4 customer service: 3.5 schedule control and commitment: 3 Work quality, Cost, People: Joe is a very nice person to go with. His assistant Francisco is also an experienced and reliable worker. I like both of them. Their price offering makes sense and is very competitive. Work quality is quite good. All these are the good parts. However, the time control and commitment after work could have been better in my opinion. Giant HVAC started the work in June end ‘22, and the final inspections were done in ~ Aug end’22. Time control: Joe was late for ~ 45 min in our first appointment, citing delay from the previous appointment. Similar situation happened again on the second time, with other reason. And he cancelled one appointment of our meeting at the project site on the 2nd day before we met. Commitment: Even though Joe is very helpful and responsive before a contract was signed and during the projects, at the later stage of the task and after the installation, I don’t feel he is that responsive. It took almost a month for him to start the city inspection appointment procedure, after he committed to me several times that he would do it ‘this weekend’ when I checked with him each time. It was the 3rd or 4th time (week) that he got time to set up the appointment. He told me he could not do it earlier because he can not wait in a time window for city people to show up. I understood he was busy, but it should be a standard flow in the field, and he should hire more people to cover this flow inadequacy, instead of appearing very responsive at the beginning of a project, but quite ‘irresponsive’ toward the end of a job. Last, his assistant Francisco ever told me that he would find a worker friend to estimate/furnish a cabin space that connects to the roof where the furnace was installed. Four months have passed, it never happened
Joe with Giant HVAC did a great job putting in a new heater for my parent’s house. He and his team gave us a fair price and delivered what they promised. They were quick and also professional. I would recommend this company.
Our furnace went out had to get it fixed ASAP I called Joe Saturday morning and he came out same day ! He is a gem And will be our Go to for our HVAC needs. Very reliable and honest . He didn't gouge on the pricing straight to the point and very informative on the problem .Thank you again !
Joe and team are awesome. We used them in both of our houses and have been extremely pleased. They are a bit far away from Menlo Park but they do their best to respond as quickly as possible when needed. New heating system is awesome. Joe is a delight and we will continue to use them !! Excellent!!

Joe and his crew did great work in timely manner. Outstanding workmanship and knowledge. Guided us and explained us well and installed very good brand and quality AC & Heater. They clean up as they finish job, they are polite and very patient. Great competitive pricing. Giant HVAC had our AC/Heater installed almost in a day. Also did follow up with us to check if we are doing fine!
Je provided a quick and reasonable estimate and was able to begin work right away. His team was friendly and efficient and Joe checked in on the progress through the project. Very happy with the service provided and how pleasant he made the experience. Would highly recommend.
Our 24-year old AC stopped working. We thought it's a good time to replace it along with aged furnace with more efficient ones. We decided to stick with the original brand. Giant HVAC is in the manufacturer's dealer list. I called their number and Joe showed up next day. He's very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns in a professional way. He gave us three device options to choose from. I like that. Of course we also talked to other contractors but Giant HVAC offered the most attractive quotes. The installation team showed up early in the morning and had the job done in the late afternoon. Joe gave the final setting and testing to make sure the two-stage system working as expected. We're fully satisfied with their service. Thanks Joe!
Words I thought I'd never say - had the best experince installing AC unit! Joe does a great job assessing the scope of work and makes reccomendations on brands, materials, improvements/alterations keeping cost and performance in mind. His team is super easy to work with, communicate well, respectful of your space, and the best part: finish the job on time!! i'm praying that my 30 year old furnace never breaks, but if it does, I know exactly who I'm calling. Thank you Giant HVAC!
Joe is AMAZING! If I could I would give him 6 stars I would. First things first, if you expect that the he will do all the work himself, thats not a realistic expectation when it comes to communication and followup, Joe is amongst the very few contractors who is at the top of their game. He is very clear and upfront about setting expectations and then meeting them. I had to travel out of country half way through our project and Joe had offered to come and resolve any issues. Our project was complex and involved replacing single zone HVAC system with a 2 zone Heat pump based system. To make thing more interesting we had to add a new return from the second floor which made the project pretty custom. His team's workmanship is as good but that is to be expected, but following up and mitigating issues when they do arise, because parts fail, things happen thats when Joe shines through.
Joe and team did a good job installing my new Gree Heat Pump system. The price was very reasonable and I'm very happy with the system. There were a few issues along the way and once I reported them to Joe he took care of them, no quibble. Happy to recommend the Giant team.
We wanted to add an air conditioning section to our existing furnace in the attic. Joe from Giant came through with a quote for all Carrier products and a reasonable price. Joe explained the job clearly. We noted all 5-star ratings and decided to give him the job, even though he is in business only for a couple years. His crew came through and did the entire job in 2 days, it was efficient and clean. The system worked and passed city inspection with very minor changes, mainly to the labeling of electrical wires. I am happy with the result, and will recommend Giant to anyone who wants to add AC to an existing furnace system.

My husband and I engaged with Joe to install our AC in our townhome. He was always reliable, timely and a great communicator. From his demonstrated expertise at our initial meeting to get a quote to the 2 days' of work that he estimated, Joe is proactive and honest. He demonstrated great expertise through asking great questions and providing recommendations to match. He does great work, has competitive pricing and was keep us well informed throughout the process. Highly recommend working with him!

Joe is a hard worker and has a lot of industry knowledge. I recommend Giant HVAC because they did a great job on my mini split install and for a reasonable price.
It was a pleasure to work with Joe at Giant HVAC to replace my home’s central unit. Joe identified simple changes that would improve the efficiency in cooling and heating my 50 year old house. The bid was very reasonable and Joe took care of all the necessary permits. It’s been two months and my family is thrilled with how well the unit works. Joe is easy to work with and listens to the customers wants.... I wouldn’t hesitate to use Giant HVAC again, and I’ve already recommended them to a few friends. Total pros!!!
