My furnace quit during a cold snap recently. I am an out of town landlord, so I was in a bit of a compromised situation trying to get the furnace up and running for my tenants as quickly as possible. I got a highly inflated price for repair from John Owens Services in San Rafael. I sensed I was being taken advantage of. I explained the situation to Johnny at Fitzpatrick Heating and he sent a crew out the next day who took care of the problem for me. Though I gave him the quote from John Owens, and would have been happy with a bill for anything substantially less, Fitzpatrick invoiced me 1/3 of the John Owen's quote. To me, this speaks to Fitzpatrick's honesty and integrity as well as service and professionalism. Stop right here. You have found the right Heating Company.
Fitzpatrick’s are the go to people for anything to do with heating and a/c. They are honest and dependable. It’s understandable why they are a generational company. Excellent work always.
We had a 25+ year-old gas furnace stop working. This firm was prompt, on time and diagnosed the problem as a failed electronic circuit, and were smart enough to have one in stock and on the truck, rather than having to backorder it: problem solved then and there. Their repair person was polite, capable and maintained Covid masking, and also knowledgeably discussed possible future replacement with a high-efficiency furnace or heat pump. I highly recommend this firm.

Hard to find someone to fix gas wall heaters, but Fitzpatrick does and they're fast, reasonable, and local (Ffx/SA) and very smart and helpful too. I learned a lot. Also: called them at 4pm on a Wed afternoon cause our water heater stopped heating. they arrived at 4:30, fixed it in about 20 minutes. Also good advice on some of my own handiwork... Thanks George!
