We recently hired Mac’s Plumbing to fix several broken water pipes in our mountains house. Their office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service throughout the process. The plumbers were timely, professional and very knowledgeable. Throughout the project they kept us informed and didn’t quit until we were leak free. I can’t say enough how how happy we are that we found a Plumbing company that we can trust for all our plumbing needs.
Exceptional service and knowledge from Ed and Nate who installed a heat pump water at our house. The installation was not simple in moving the existing unit out from inside and connecting the new unit to the garage, but their workmanship was top notch. They handled everything with care and we are very happy we went with them after talking with 3 other companies. For anything in the HVAC realm just go with Mac's and you will not be disappointed.
Honest great work
I needed someone to work on a custom duct job for our dryer vent. Steve came out and assessed the situation and had it fixed within a half hour. It's better now that it's ever been. Thanks Steve.
Jake from Mac's Plumbing did an incredible job and has done a few for us at Elk Grove Apartments. On time, price is very accurate and fair, quality of service is excellent. They know what they're doing and will not steer you wrong. Best in price and service for Elk Grove.
I regret i used this company. I wish i didn't. The Brand new AC i installed has been leaking for weeks already, starting right after it is installed. I called, emailed and texted this company many times, but they don't care. After very long wait they show up still they didn't fix the issue, they came up with so many reasons, to cover their weaknesses. They charged me a lot. I have contacted the management No one does anything to address the issue after i paid over $15,000. For sure you will regret it. I definitely don't recommend it.
Nice young man came and gave me a estimate with paying $89 for a visit. Could be a nice company but, estimate was much higher than I expected. I ended up hire another company and paied 1/5 of price what I got estimate from Mac's.
My water heater decided to leak two days before family members were arriving. My son-in-law told me to call Steve at Mac’s plumbing. They made a quick schedule change and were able install a new water heater the next day. Price was fair too. Thanks again.
Very knowledgable, helpful, and no stressful up-selling
Honest, friendly and quality work. I incidentally found out my water heater, which was originally installed in the 90s, was completely rusted on the inside. I did some research and found that MAC's was a local carrier of Bradford White water heaters, which are American made and high quality. I called for an estimate/eval appointment and Steve came out the next week. He is personable and friendly and gave me an easy to understand estimate and his honest recommendations. As a single female homeowner, I felt very comfortable and never felt as if he was trying to upsell me (which other contractors and businesses have done in the past). He gave me several options and even told me about the SMUD rebates ide be eligible for. I opted to convert from gas to an electric hybrid for it's efficiency, cost, the fact that it will cool the garage a bit, no pilot light and the smud incentive rebate. On the installation date Ed and another technician (who's name I cannot remember, I'm so sorry) arrived promptly at 8am as scheduled. They were equally friendly and personable. We talked about some of our outdoor house projects and they got right to work. We had painted the garage and asked that they let us know when the old water heater was removed so we could paint behind it and without asking they did it for us! I even, without thinking turned the water on while they were working and got water everywhere, they just politely reminded me not to use the water and helped me clean up a bit. When they went up to the attic to do electrical, right away they noticed the HVAC system had some issues. I know nothing about HVAC, but remember him showing me the photos and basically the coils are rusted, there's coolant leaking, it's falling apart and we are breathing in particles of fiber glass. The week prior I was just thinking the HVAC was probably 20-30 years old and needed replacing. I called the office to make an appointment for an HVAC Assessment and got one for the next week, but our t

Jacob arrived on time to replace our old water heater. He was friendly, professional and worked non stop to complete the process. He communicated options and listened to us. The price was fair and service timely. I Certainly would highly recommend Mac Plumbing.
I had a water heater replaced this week by Mac's Plumbing. Not only were they on time, efficient and professional, but Tommy, Jacob and AJ were probably the nicest guys that have ever done work in my home. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all of my questions. If how you are treated as a customer is important to you, I highly recommend Mac's Plumbing.
Jacob was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also really honest about pricing and did not try to sell me anything extra which is always appreciated. He also taught us a lot about our garbage disposal and water heater and gave us some recommendations to make them last longer. Great service. Give this man a raise :)

Professional, On-Time and Friendly. Unclogged kitchen drain, fixed leaking toilet, serviced tankless water heater and replaced value in sprinkler system. Basically fixed all my water leaks and got water flowing. I was very pleased. Due to their superior service, I plan to use them when I need HVAC serviced.
We used Mac’s to fix my shower. Jacob was excellent! Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Reasonable pricing too. I would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future if needed.
