Had my Hvac serviced, shortly after Griffin Doane their employee left he had took it upon himself to call and have the sheriff sent to my home under reported "suspicious" car parts (a couple old beat up exhaust parts stored under the house). We live in an area where avg home value is close to 1M so found it very odd Griffin assumed a couple old car parts laying around had to be stolen... Completely unprofessional and uncalled for, hope Griffin gets some training on social skills as to which he could've found out from my Wife that I modify and work on race cars for a living and hobby and even have 2 race cars in the garage. Complete waste of Sheriff's resources and time as well as my Wife and I.
I had a bad experience with AirTech being dishonest and taking 2+ weeks in the dead middle of summer "for my parts to come in" and NorCal came to my rescue quickly and had both the parts I needed already in stock. Thank you Norcal!!
I am 100% satisfied with the outstanding customer service provided by both Kim, from the office, and Ron, technician. Kim was very attentive to telephone calls and emails. Ron was extremely patient and provided guidance to my husband on how to operate the furnace. Ron gave detailed explanations on the reported issues and challenges. We will return to NorCal in the event we have any upcoming problems. There is no doubt about it. Keep up the excellent work you do!

I want to pass along a note about the superior service provided by Robert and Ron today. First, the problem I was having with my AC turning on (in winter) was technically challenging and I knew going into the service that it was going to challenge the skills of the repair technician. This was not a "novice" assignment and it was not handled that way. Great skill and effort was applied to the problem and I could follow the evaluation clearly. The evaluation was handled with great regard, like a welcome challenge and high regard for quality work. In my view, too often things are handled like another corporate transaction and they are more interested in the sale of new equipment rather than applying their craft at a high level. I know high performance when I see it and this was on full display. Thank you. Second, the regular maintenance performed on my heating unit was thorough and well documented. My units are 20+ years old and I appreciated the skill and attention to detail that was provided. Thank you. I also want you to know that your quality work stands out in your field. I was referred to you by a trusted tradesman and I now too sing your praises. I recognize that you are not able to saturate the airwaves with advertising and I would not want you to have this distraction and business pressure to compromise quality with speed and a "salesman's" view of the world. In my view, upselling is a disease. Lastly, I believe strongly in a "buy American" purchasing philosophy as long as the quality is high and the price point is reasonable. Please pass along to your vendors that this is a question I would ask when replacing my equipment.

Ethan, Matt, and Carl installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit and it went very smoothly. They were professional, personable, and local. Brad Nichols was our fifth estimate appointment and he was able to explain the entire process and designed a system to perfectly fit our needs. Price was great and equipment was top notch. I have used Nor Cal Mechanical at my home in EDH and my employer has used them over the past 4 years on the commercial building he owns. We have referred Brad and his team to clients and business owners because they are as honest and professional as can be! Most everyone who works there has been there for many years and all give the same courteous professional service. Brad himself saved me thousands of dollars when he assessed my HVAC system in my home. Another company had estimated that I needed a whole new system and Brad was able to let me know that was not the case. Their service is reliable and they strive to make their customers completely happy. Would highly recommend them!!

Excellent first time experience! Our heating system went down in our house - Robert and Adam came out right away to diagnose the problem. They were on-time, professional and very knowledgeable. Best of all, they were honest and fast, taking the time to show me how the insides of the heating system works and what was causing our heat to not turn on. Pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be an easy fix and inexpensive part replacement. I will be using Norcal Mechanical from now on for any/all of my HVAC needs and will be recommending them to friends and family. Thanks Robert and Adam for your professionalism, advice and knowledge!
it was complicated to get an appointment but now I know why .. it's because Randy and his team are outstanding professionals hence probably in high demand. others had ruled a part replacement that was going to run us into the $1000ish and NorCal had the honesty to tell us and charge us for a $20 fuse ! I'd give then 10 * if I could. thanks guys.
I have been using Nor Cal Mechanical for years for my home in El Dorado Hills. I have had them work on , heating, a/c, installed a whole house fan and a smart thermostat (Nest). They provide exceptional service and are very professional. Brad and his team are always prompt, courteous, honest and very reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone for HVAC needs.
