CEM did a wonderful job with our solar. We couldn’t have asked for a better company. They were very professional and informative. They even fixed our AC for us as well! They have high quality customer service and our experience was completely smooth. I highly recommended CEM. You won’t be disappointed!
CEM was fantastic to work with! Extremely quick to respond to our inquiry, and very informative during the consultation. They had recommendations that we had not thought of and we agreed on an HVAC and Solar set up that are perfect for what we needed and wanted and didn’t feel like we were over sold on anything. They were able to fit us in the schedule quickly, showed up on time every day and worked the full days until the job was done. They were respectful of us and our home, cleaned up after themselves daily, and made sure to follow up on everything with PG&E until we were online and registered. I would highly recommend CEM!

As a new homeowner, few things are as stressful as having your AC fail in the Chico summer. Fortunately, CEM quickly came out and replaced my condenser and evaporator coil and upgraded my system to a heat pump. The team was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the new system works great! I highly recommend!

I have had them out for heating and air conditioning work as well as a smart thermostat install. All the work has been perfect. I recently had them install a wall charger for my electric car and it works great and looks great as well. “A work of art!” The prices they charge are very reasonable and they stand behind all the work they do. I have already recommended them to my friends and family. Connect Energy Mechanical is a first class company.
These guys are the best! They got us in in a bind when our power was out, they worked all day until the job was done, and they are all such pleasant people to work with. Highly recommend their business and would cal them again!

They are local and family run. We got Solar and a new HVAC system. The whole process was seamless and hassle free. I have already recommended then to a lot of my friends. They don't cut corners. They use quality product and so is their work. Highly recommend them.
Connect Energy installed a backup generator, and solar system for our home. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They completed installation before the timeframe we were given. These are the best guys in the world. They do a marvelous job they tell you what it’s going to be did not going to add on any extra charges they are honest and great people. If you want the job done right and you want someone who will not rip you off these are the guys for you.

Recently had the A/C compressor go out on the condenser unit outside during several weeks of triple-digit heat waves (Aug-Sept 2022). The house couldn't cool down past 90F until after 10p, it just couldn't keep up with the heat of the day and it was awful. It would cool in the late evenings and mornings when the sun was down, but by 11am each morning, the indoor temp would rise and get away from the set temperature on the thermostat while the A/C was just running and blowing warm air, causing a massive increase in electricity usage and costing hundreds of extra dollars on the utility bill. After two miserable weeks of the original installer dodging our calls (the unit was still under mfg warranty), we called Connect Energy (CEM) and Dave promptly came out to assess the system the following day. He was very thorough, took multiple temperature and electrical readings, popped the panels on the indoor and outdoor portions of the HVAC unit and quickly determined that the compressor unit was not functioning correctly and needed to be replaced as it was leaking refrigerant and not pushing enough cold air to keep the indoor temp stable. Unfortunately, the warranty replacement was 6 weeks out and that was just not a timeline we could wait on. Fortunately, Daniel, Dave's son (it is a family business), informed us that they had a replacement condenser unit for our system and worked with us to get it out the day after Dave's assessment. One of CEMs installers Rob, as did Daniel (despite being the "front of office" manager) showed up the next morning at 7:30am and had the new unit installed within hours, getting our A/C back up and running by 10:30/11:00a. Honestly, after weeks of muggy, hot 90 F indoors and searingly hot outdoor weather, I wasn't in the best mood. When you don't have relief from the heat, it just saps your mood and energy and I was at the end of my rope. Without hesitation, I would recommend this company. The price was right! The workers were friendly, courteous, and caring. If I called, they called me right back immediately. They worked very hard in this heat and our mobile is the coolest and the quietest it has ever been. So thankful they were recommended to me.
