$75 System Check-up revealed Air Handler for Living Room & Kitchen was not working and stuck at 80 degrees. Follow-up recommended. No follow-up response from Scottsdale Air. House still hot!
Matt from Scottsdale Air was very professional and friendly. When he got here, he heard our concerns, went right to work, and explained everything he did. He followed up with an email which explained all the work he did and some concerns. We will use Scottsdale Air in the future and will highly recommend them.
Eric came out to quote a replacement unit. They were a bit out of my budget but quick and professional. I will include them on future quotes on other homes.

We recently had an issue with our A/C unit. We've been customers of Scottsdale Air for 10 years and called them. As usual, Scott, from Scottsdale Air, who has been servicing our unit for 8 years came out and identified the problem right away. He fixed it promptly and we were back up and running in no time. I feal confident for the upcoming summer heat! Thanks Scott!

Terry was great! I have a relic of an A/C system thats on its last leg anyway. It was a simple fuse that blew but I appreciate that he didnt try to sell me a new system or something that wasnt needed. I'll need two new units when we remodel and I'll definitely be calling Scottsdale Air.

WOW!!! Got a 2 stage AC unit installed today by Scottsdale Air Heating/Cooling. Josh & Albert was absolutely AWESOME throughout the entire visit. Kept us informed all along the way, cleaned up professionally, worked together as a great team and bottom line, we're extra excited with the unit and work done. I got two other bids & I must say, they were the best value for what we wanted and needed. The salesperson, Russ, was very honest, professional and low pressured, which I appreciated. Jerry and Eric are a great team. They saw indications of a leak in our old system and worked hard to find the cause. They took the time to talk about the options and the timing for a new system as we head into a house remodel. Employed Scottsdale Cooling to perform a pre-season tuneup of one of my two HVAC systems. The tech called me 30 minutes out to affirm our appt time and arrived on time. We discussed his plan for checking out the system and he proceeded to start with the outside unit. That portion went without incident, and he reported mostly normal pressures for compression and refrigerant. He moved to the inside to inspect that portion of the air handling system. It went a little sideways at this point, when he opened up the cabinet while the fan was running and the negative pressure sucked in some of the loose fill insulation in the attic. This resulted in “snowing” of this material from the ceiling HVAC discharges into each of the rooms on this system. The tech did not seem at all concerned, saying that the material is not fiberglass. He never apologized for the mess, but he did ask to borrow our vacuum to clean it up. He gave it a cursory cleanup, leaving debris in most areas and two rooms untouched. He then met with me to soft-sell me on a $4,000 system repair for a system that is about 20 years old. (I declined.) He then forwarded his “inspection report” to my email which was largely without value; it did not provide any description of the condition of the elements he allegedly checked. The clean-up I had to do after the tech left was inconvenient and should not have been necessary. If that is how they approach these kinds of service calls which are intended to drum up business, they can forget about me contacting them when this aging system finally dies!

Arrived as scheduled. Did a thorough diagnosis on the A/C system, found the problem, had the part, fixed the problem, and ensured we had A/C just before a long Memorial Day weekend. Great, professional, competent service!
