Drew is outstanding! In 2018, 2 weeks after purchasing our home, in June, our AC went out. The inspection failed us. Drew went above and beyond and quickly brought in 2 mobile window units to keep my babies cool until we could figure out a solution. Fast forward to 2023, that unit finally failed, and again Drew had a new one installed in a few short days for our renters. He treats everyone as FAMILY in these emergency situations. I am a forever client for this company, and will refer him to everyone I know.
All aspects of purchasing/installing a new AC unit was a positive experience with Hackney. We were given various price options on new units and once we decided which unit we wanted, the installation was timely and professionally completed. The crew arrived even before expected, we had minimal downtime, communications were very clear so we knew what to expect and after the job was done, the area was cleaned up and couldn't even tell they were here. Purchasing a new AC unit can seem overwhelming but Hackney made this much easier and now we don't worry about our AC in the Phoenix heat. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing.
All around great experience in every aspect. Going on 7+ years using Hackney… full AC install, annual maintenance, etc. These guys are Trustworthy, Knowledgeable, Experienced, Professional and just down right know what they are doing. Can’t go wrong with Hackney!

Well ... from NO cooling at 10p to back to cool comfort at 11a, Drew and Jack did what amounts to be about as perfect a job as one can hope for. I left the message at 10: 30p; they called at 8a when they opened; and were able to get here at 10: 30a. Other places couldn't get here as soon. Good quality, good value, professional, responsive, on time. And flexible too! They serviced our daughter's AC next door since they were here.
Seriously, the best. Long story short, we needed our roof-top A/C unit replaced just as temps started hitting 100... I called the office and Drew was at our house within a few minutes to give us an estimate. We had gotten other quotes and in addition to being friendly and knowledgeable, Hackney had the best price and they scheduled us in ASAP. Drew and team even ended up figuring out why our old unit died and fixed the underlying problem so we shouldn't have to worry for a while!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. We have a home warranty, but I will go through this company for my A/C needs from now on because of the great service, value, and the trust they built with us through this situation!

After getting a few quotes - I chose Hackney Heating and Cooling to replace my home unit. Working with Drew was great. He was knowledgeable and sold me the exact 3 ton unit I needed. He answered every question I had and helped to educate me throughout the process. I had questions about larger ton units and seer ratings and he took his time to educate me. The home unit itself has performed flawlessly. Drew has also helped to service my mini-split in my garage.

These guys are great. The service was excellent, friendly to deal with and got my 10 year old Trane back up and running for me in a very timely manner for a fair price. Couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Hackney Heating and Cooling. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any of heating and cooling needs.
I called Drew in the middle of the night because my heater was not working. Drew and his team were over at my house the following morning during the rain and got me back up and running. Thanks Drew!!!
Hackney HVAC I can't say enough good things about Drew. He answers his call anytime/day of the week. He was very professional, and polite and takes the time to explain what was going on. Drew and his crew of men are phenomenal. I’ve been using Drew for the last 6 to 7 years he handles every one of my rental houses plus my own he’s come to the rescue at so many times in the ninth hour . He helped me last week with a hot water heater at one of my rental houses It wasn’t even his work but he jumped in to help solve an issue. . He went over and above in the situation to help me . I would recommend them to anybody is the real deal.
We had an emergency with our A/C unit not cooling and Hackney was onsite within two hours. Quick capacitor change and we were up and running again. Matt was quick, professional, and knowledgable. We will be using Hackney to add an additional vent and for services in the future!
Our A/C started to not work on an early evening. We didn't receive a timely response from the company we had been using, so reached out to Hackney Heating and Cooling. A tech came to our house that evening and provided both an analysis and a portable cooler to make it through the night in 110+ weather. By 11 AM the next day, Drew Hackney and the technician had the repair completed, troubleshot some other issues and cleaned the system. They were professional, competent and very timely. They have become our new A/C company.
