Service received: New HVAC install. Pros: -Seemingly high quality install. Mario and Tyler did a fantastic job and managed to get the attic unit thorough a tiny access without cutting any drywall. -Mario responded to my texted questions after spending all day in a very hot attic -Installed the next day. -The sales rep, Tanner, was a service technician who does not get commission. I didn't feel sold or pressured. Cons: -Installers left some mess. Some insulation in the ductwork that blew through the whole downstairs, a cut of the bathroom linoleum, some dirty handprints, etc. But again, it was over 100 degrees in the house - let along the attic. They deserve some slack for that. -Poor communication from the sales rep. I had to email twice, call the rep, and finally call the office to receive any paperwork after my install. It's been over a week since the install and they are still working on getting me final paperwork - Installers get incentivized for 5 star reviews. While they should be incentivized for a good, clean install, this leads to a bogus rating. Most HVAC companies do this. Mario and Tyler deserve this incentive, so I am giving 5 stars. But in reality, I would typically place this as a 4-star review.

Rueben did a phenomenal job. I wasn’t getting water from 3 faucets that hadn’t been used much. He quickly figured out it was mineral build up and replaced the faucets and flex hoses for me. Great associate!

You would be better off throwing your money into a void had a plumbing a/c contract with them. Their initial diagnosis of the issue was wrong paid for the fix and then it ended up costing us twice as much after they took our toilet out the 2nd time around and told us it wouldn’t be covered because the previous employee didn’t diagnose it properly. Despite paying into their service contract for a year RUN! Giving the 1 star for the front desk lady on her 4th day thanks for your promptness.

The installers are kind and professional. The company has poor customer service. I spent big $$ for my AC. The system didn't seem to cool as well as my Carrier. They said it was fine. I bought the Comfort Plus/care pkg. I've tried for 2 years to get my system looked at prior to Summer heat. In was delayed 1-2 months due to being low priority since they had so many customers with cooling issues. So they push me to the end of summer. Now my cycle is off and they won't do there prevention checks until Sep. Even though they caused the delays. Poor mgmt/policies. I also had my water heater go out and called to try and get a quote and emergency service. They wanted to do a sales call at my house 2 in weeks. I went to a local plumber had a water heater the same day. I went with Collins Comfort because of a reference and that Costco should stand behind. I 100% regret my decision.

Jonathan was in contact by phone estimating when he would arrive. He was punctual. He asked permission to see the water softener and the proper entry ( garage door) He tested the water device in the kitchen and then went to work on the water softener. He then proceeded to explain the options regarding the kitchen options of replacing filters, and the tank and wiring or just the filters and tank as well as the warranties of each. Jonathan was very professional the entire time it took me to make selection. Due to my short term memory, I asked if I could take notes and he agreed. Jonathan was extremely polite and patient when I was making my decision. He showed great knowledge in answering my questions. I don't know about the quality but my first water softener lasted many years without yearly servicing which adds to the cost. He definitely earned a 5 star +.

I purchased a top of the line Lennox HVAC system about 3.5 years ago. It developed a leak a year ago, clearly either a manufacturer’s defect or improper installation. Because it initially occurred outside Collins Comfort Masters personal 2y warranty, they’re refusing to fix it without charging me upwards of $2000. It has leaked again because they didn’t return to fix it last year as they were supposed to, and now they expect me to pay for adding coolant, but I was told it does have “some coolant left.” The unit has been running for hours without any change in temperature during a 109° day. I purchased the unit with this company because I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and I thought they would honor warranties.

Very happy with Paul and the whole experience so far. Called this morning, got an ETA text, got an ETA phone call and he was early. The current promo of no charge for the service call was great too so we could figure out the problem before we spent any money. Paul temporarily fixed the problem right away. We have a new unit ordered and in the meantime Paul offered to de-freeze it again if needed for no additional costs. Very happy so far!

We requested a consult through Costco Lennox and Collins was the local company that responded to our Phoenix location. A representative called me within hours of my online Costco form submission and came out the next day to evaluate. Kara Breen was our consultant. She was polite, called to say that she was on the way, and offered to take her shoes off. She stayed over three hours, extensively reviewing, taking pictures, answering our many questions, and ultimately helping us finalize the purchase. Collins techs came out the very next day and completely replaced our entire two unit (upstairs and downstairs) ACs within 6 hours. The four technicians (Mike, Dan, Jared, and ?) were polite, kind to my curious dog, answered all of my questions, helped me set up the thermostats, and left my house clean. They were incredibly knowledgeable, competent, skilled, and professional. We will continue to use Collins as our HVAC service provider in the future whether or not they continue to service the Costco Lennox agreement; they have won a lifetime customer from me.
