He was quick, efficient and informative!
The service technician quickly analyzed why my A/C was not cooling. He found and replaced a failed capacitor and had the unit operating in minuets. His diagnostic skills are remarkable, there are dozens of things that could have been the cause. I told him that I am a mechanical engineer and I understand what he did. He told me he has 24 years of experience. I am impressed.
Service was friendly and fast. He had the part on-hand and had us back up and running in 10 minutes. And he was happy to answer my questions and show me how the part went bad while he worked. Thanks Dan!
The guys installed a new ac unit for me. They were very efficient in installing and very quiet, I was working at home and barely heard a thing. They are super nice and very knowledgeable. They offer amazing prices compared to the big companies!

Mystery problem why no heat? Had to reset the system and it's all good. Had an informative discussion about maintenance, what to do if it happens again, paid a reasonable price and put this company into my phone and on my calendar for maintenance. I've been a customer since 2004 and I've worked Dale & Barb the original owners and their sons Dan and Jon. They initially helped me limp along through the summer of 2004 with my existing underrated system that wasn't appropriate for my 2000 square foot house. (I bought the model from a developer and since said developer knew that the house wouldn't be lived in, they installed an underrated system that was never maintained.). Dale called me when a sufficient AC unit came available - USED and it's been humming along for 18 years. Cool Days AC also got up into the attic, rerouted and sealed all the ductwork which increased the airflow throughout the entire house. It had originally been set to cool the garage, which was set up as the sales office for the model home. That re-ducting made a huge difference throughout the house. Dale and his sons then took the time to instruct me on which HVAC filters to purchase (not expensive ones) and to label them with a sharpie and replace them monthly! That little step reduces the drag on the system and saves nearly $150 a year in filters and energy costs. Then, to make things even more efficient, they installed a programmable thermostat and programmed it based on when we're in the house and when we're sleeping. They even set it up for our utility company's time of use scheduling calendar. My summer utility bills are actually less than 1/2 of what my neighbors spend... except for the friends and neighbors who have taken my advice and now work with Cool Days. I don't consider this family to be "HVAC Guys", they're friends who have expertise that they willingly share so that the families they work with can eliminate Air Conditioning from one of the issues they worry about during the sweltering Arizona summers. Jon and Dan installed my out dated AC system two years ago. I have been a long time customer of this family owned company. They do AC regular check ups and maintenance. They are honest and reasonable.

Wow! Same day service of when I called in. John was our technician today. We have a room AC installed by Cool Days back in 2006. It was desperate for a deep clean of compelled dust and it had stopped working. John set up a way to wash & drain the unit without removing the unit from the wall.. It was quite impressive. I highly recommend this company.
i'm an out town owner of a condo that my daughter says in for school. the a/c and heat unit stopped working completely. i was able the set up an appointment and billing over the the phone wa given an appointment time frame was called by teck Dan when he was 20 min out. Dan was very professional. After repairs we completed i was emailed the invoice with a link to pay. pricing was very fair this is a great company and would highly recommend .

I have to update this review. After Dan came out to repair our heat pump the unit was hardly cooling. He found a very dirty coil, and claimed that the unit was low on refrigerant, so he said he added some. A couple of days later I called in another A/C company, and they found that the reason the unit was not cooling was because it was down 2.5 lbs of refrigerant. It cost me $350 to replace the stolen refrigerant. It's very sad that a company I had been happy with for decades decided to steal from me. ________ This was written a few hours after the last service. I want say thank you once again to the people at Cool Days. I've been using and recommending this company for more than 25 years. They got us back up and running in no time, and the costs were very reasonable for the work performed. I know several people who swear by them now because of my recommendations, so give them a try.
