Great service, I would absolutely recommend hiring these guys! I found out my water heater was spraying water all over my crawl space late Saturday night. It was like opening the door to a sauna so I frantically started calling all of the 24 hour plumbers in town. Anchorage Plumbing and Heating was the only one to pick up. That alone would be worth a 5 star review, no one else even called me back! Shout out to Isaac, he showed up quick and fixed the leak in no time. He was very knowledgeable and told me everything he was doing. He was also helpful in telling me what type of water damage might have occurred and recommendations on how to follow up to get it properly fixed. They definitely earned a lifelong customer!

Raven was exceptional! She was thorough, professional, and explained everything she did and what was going on throughout her work. She came by on a Sunday evening at 6pm to help me with a leak, and gave me great recommendations for replacement products and how to install. So thankful for her expertise!

So, I am a property manager in Anchorage and have used Anchorage plumbing and heating a handful of times. Generally, it is a decent experience. They are more expensive than a lot of others, but are generally pretty timely and responsive. On 5-10 we called because there was a water heater dripping, pretty steadily onto the floor and into the crawlspace from the water heater. They were able to get a tech out there that day, although it was later in the day. The tech called and advised they could fix it, but it would be a few hours work and a $300 part. It was about to be after hours, so the tech said they could get it scheduled for tomorrow so it isn't after hours. Awesome, thank you. Tomorrow comes, and I don't hear anything for the entire day so I call them at 2pm to see what's going on and make sure we are good to go. The front desk staff answers and says they cant get anyone today, but can tomorrow. Keep in mind the water has been continuously dripping at this point and the crawl space is getting pretty filled up with water. It was a very steady flow and not a slow drip. I was slightly annoyed, but I get it, people get busy. Tomorrow comes again (5-12-2023) and I called them at 3pm since I still hadn't heard anything. I speak with the same lady, whose name I admittedly don't remember. She advises they can get me on the schedule for Tuesday. I am obviously confused, since I have been on the schedule for two days now and nothing has been done. I remind her that there is water actively leaking into the crawl space and filling it up, and I am transferred to a new person who advises me that they don't have anything available, but they might be able to get me after hours, at the after hours rate even though I have been left hanging for the last two days while my crawlspace fills with water. Suffice to say, we will never be using Anchorage Plumbing and Heating again for any service. Its a shame too, since their water heater install was usually a little cheaper tha

I called because I had a hole in a boiler line and when the person showed up they were showed where the hole was. They proceeded to fix other holes in a totally different room. They didn’t fix the original problem re-pressurized the system causing water to spray out into a bedroom for several hours before it was noticed. I called them back and they came back the next day and fixed the original problem then wanted to charge me an additional $550. The people are rude and condescending. I would never recommend them for any plumbing or heating work.

Charged $210 for service call but did nothing to repair. Promised to provide estimate and was scheduled to return but didn't. Left us with no water. All we got was "sorry" after taking off work and waiting the whole day only for them to no show. Won't use again.

The owner Mary is a money hungry poor excuse for an owner. I've been living here for four decades and I've never heard the horror stories like I have from people who have worked for this company. Shame on her. She drives a nice car while her employee's struggle to live. Avoid this business and give your money to someone who actually cares.

Not sure what's going on here. They've been over twice now and first there was a smell coming from the furnace, it snowed a lot my aunt suggested maybe all the snow clogged up the vent, now the vent on the wall just outside and above on the wall in the furnace is super noisy. It's odd. Not sure what I think of the company in terms of repairs. We called and scheduled for 8:00AM today. The vent on the wall just outside the furnace was super noisy since they left. I called reception. The first time I was not put on the wait list at 3:30pm. they put us on the wait list during the second call at 5:45 I told them I had to get to work during the first call reception failed in communicating any further information than "you've been added to the wait list" including not telling me there were 3 people in need of services ahead of me meaning this could be anything from a 2 hour wait to an 8 hour wait who knows. Reception 1 star Everything else undecided. UpDate: a journeyman came over on Monday fixed the noisy fan and all else seems well

November 10 2022 I wouldn't reccomend for after hour services. The only issue with my heater was that the fan needed to be cleaned and this technician failed to troubleshoot it correctly and left me with no heat and told me I had to get my whole furnace replaced which would cost 4,000. I paid 240 for his service, he was only there for 35 minutes because he wanted to rush to get out and didn't want to fix the problem and just told me that I needed a new furnace. I really don't think that paying 240 for him to incorrectly diagnose my furnace was the right thing to do. On top of that he told me he was going to give me a discount but because I said something he didn't like he took it back and ended up double charging my card. I told him I'm a single mom and haven't had my daughter home because the heater wasn't working, for 2 days, and he left even though it was as simple as cleaning out my fan. I'm not happy with the service I received at all and he was very disrespectful. Dec. 13 2022 Cleaned the fan out that night and heater is still working. It just needed the clean but said it needed to be replaced. I understand the rate I had to pay but if I'm paying someone more because of an emergency he could have done better. He came over, took my furnace apart within 35 minutes and told me I needed a new furnace just because he was in a rush to leave. The next day my neighbor cleaned the fan and put it back together and it has been working ever since. I could have gotten my daughter back that night if the technician actually cared to help with the situation and just cleaned the fan out, thats what I paid for right? But instead my neighbor had to do the job for him. He wasn't trying to help at all, he just wanted to get paid for being lazy. If all he had to do was clean the fan to get it working, thats what he should have done so that my daughter and I can have heat.

Called this service to come out to one of my rentals where a tenant was having uses with their hot water going in and out. I had an appointment booked for Monday and no one ever showed up. Called them and they said I was never on the schedule...I had to rebook for the next day and waste another 2 hours of my day waiting for them (they did show up) . I run multiple businesses I don't have time to wait around for people not to show up. After completing an inspection and repairs (zone valve and aqua stat) it cost $700.00. Less than 12 hours later my tenant text me that their heat is out (this was never an issue prior to their repairs). Called them back in and they said the whole unit would need to be replaced...not sure why they couldn't tell me that before spending $700 on useless repairs? I called my regular contractor to come in to look at the unit and all it needed was a valve to be replaced...This goes to show that their technicians are not well educated on all boiler units which will result in false diagnosis and a waste of your time and money. Only giving 2 stars because they responded quickly...the second time.

I cannot express how thankful I am to this company and the plumber Curtis they sent out. He was honest, friendly, and a true plumber. Curtis solved a problem in minutes that two competitors could not solve in hours. The time and money he saved my family will not be forgotten. Thank you so much.

This company is very unprofessional, the worker that went to our house admitted to us that they stole the $200 dollars from my tenants that was left on the table. We made a police report and this company has the audacity to charge us for another invoice to pay besides the first payment we did. They're charging us another $160 for a disposal mess they left. Please do not use their service.

Called two other places that were a month and 2 months out for service, and Anch P&H were a week out. Everett and Wyatt showed up and took care of a toilet install, moved shower water lines and installed a new valve, then installed the shower pan all in 2 and 1/2 hours. The recent water issues were causing me to feel overwhelmed, and these guys were so helpful and encouraging. My questions and concerns were addressed in a friendly manner, and I reccomend this company with no reservations!

We’ve been using Anchorage Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years and have always been happy with the quality of their service. Recently, we had our annual maintenance check. The technician’s name was Raven and I was very impressed by her professionalism and competence. She thoroughly cleaned the burners, conducted a multipoint check of all systems (we have 6 zones). She took many photos and pointed out one thing we needed to address (providing a brace to our hot water heater so it doesn’t rock in an earthquake). I’ve never written a review before but I felt Raven’s competence and assistance was amazing. Thanks!

I wish I could remember the technicians’s name so I could applaud him here publicly, but I am so glad I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating. They did our annual winter service and cleaning check before it gets cold, and in the process we found out one of my thermostats isn’t working, so he took another 30 minutes to show me what was wrong and educate me for the future. Thanks!

This is AnchorTown Realty. Anchorage Plumbing even if fully booked that day usually manages to fit any of our urgent property management plumbing needs in the same or next day! We love that!

Jesse was able to come over within 1hr from my call and, that itself was surprisingly good. He was knowledgeable and was ready for repair. Had the correct item in the truck and altogether service value was excellent. Convenience at its best. I would use them again and recommend!

They came out and didn't have the equipment needed for the job, so they referred me to a different company that did. For that I had to pay full price of $160--no service provided. I wouldn't mind paying for the ten minutes he looked at it and referral, but to pay a full hour for no service is an utter rip off. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere, unless you like paying a company to tell you to do business with someone else.
