Preston did an awesome job on the two repairs at our house. Very attentive, explained everything up front. Our repair was on a Friday afternoon and Preston took his time and made sure our repair was complete. The guys who worked on our heat/Ac system were professional and knowledgeable. Made all the replace/repair we needed and sealed all the ducts up to code. Installed new IAQ Air Cleaners to both systems. They worked efficiently, explained and photo documented everything . Even going the extra mile replacing a rusted drain pan that required a trip to Mobile to obtain a new one. Added nothing to our agreed on contract cost. Very confident that we can depend on quality service from everyone at Affordable Plumbing.

Brandon was absolutely phenomenal. We will be signing up for the year package and using Affordable for our Plumbing and HVAC. Service is great, customer service is impeccable, and just all around wonderful. They truly do make you smile.
They came out for not even 15 minutes. Charged me $600 to tell me my septic tank was full. Then didnt even pump it, another company does that. Talk about a total scam. I could have popped off the lid myself and determined it was full. The owner is a crook. Probably pays those guys $15 an hr, so he paid out $30 to make $600. Absolute joke!!
Disappointed. In the end, when the company came back to do additional work, they opted to charge even more ($500+) than first time. The company might have accepted a scenario in which they would less of a profit (or just break even), in hopes of making it better for the customer. Instead they chose to increase fee; they charged over $1200 for a water heater install. They made a frustrating experience even worse.
Want to say thank you for services, A/C and plumbing that you have done for me at my residence in Gulf Shores. Both times you met my expectations by offering satisfaction in the jobs you did. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone needing A/C or plumbing services. Richard was most helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Keep up the good work. Pete Machen
Fisher and his crew were outstanding to work with for my complete re-pipe of my home.
Called them to replace a ball valve in an outside pex water line. It took the teck. less than 15 minutes actual work time to replace it. Less than $20.00 in parts. I was charged $379.00. $80.00 of which was a service charge and $100.00 for not signing a $25.00 per month service contract. The remainder makes the labor charge about $800.00 an hour. Worst case of price gouging I’ve ever encountered
The technician was great! Nice fellow, did the job well. The cost per job is just outrageous. 500$+ for 2 hours work is not standard plumbing fees. If you're wondering, no materials. Get another quote before you use.
I was looking forward to trying out Affordable Plumbing as I own two properties and really need a dependable plumber. I called on Monday 12/19 to schedule someone to come out and review leaky pipes and a toilet that is no longer functional. The soonest they could fit us in was Thursday 12/22 with an appointment window of 11am - 2pm which met our schedule. Today (Thurs 12/22) at 11:30am, we get a call that they can't make it out due to "other emergencies" and they can't reschedule until the following Tuesday (12/27). I let them know this doesn't leave me in a good spot over the next 4 days (having taken off time to be available for the now cancelled appointment). I asked if they could please refer me to someone and they told me no so we had to start desperately calling around seeing if we could have someone come out sooner. In summary, having learned during our scheduled appointment time that 1)they weren't coming and 2) they wouldn't try to prioritize me due to the inconvenience tells me new customers are not their priority. I completely understand things come up but things could have been communicated much better up front. They will not receive my business and I would not recommend to anyone wanting a dependable service provider.

Affordable Plumbing, Heating and Air are very professional and knowledgeable about their services. They are reliable and on time, letting you know who is coming to your home. Richard Duckworth was my service representative and he kept me informed step by step of what he was checking and gave me options of what needed to be done. I was very pleased with Richard’s service.
Affordable plumbing left us with a water heater that made our house smell so much like gas that we couldn’t go into the house. We paid thousands if dollars for the install and they refused to come all weekend because we were not VIP members. They wouldn’t even let us speak to the dispatch and made us talk to some poor woman at an answering service. It is incredible that they would leave their customers with hazardous conditions that they caused without a care or concern.
They gave me a quote for repiping my whole house. I was told the plumbing fixtures would not have to be replaced. Their website states they charge more than the quote. They destroyed the insulation in the attic, cut holes in my duck work, and charged me $1,762.34 more. I am 75 years old, my wife said she would have never found this problem. Baldwin County has a lot of elderly people, how have they taken advantage of and did not realize it. Getting them back out to repair is nearly impossible.
Affordable plumbing up-charged me with a hot water heater install and a few other miscellaneous plumbing issues across my house. They wanted $150 to install a kitchen faucet that I bought. It was incorrectly installed and I had to fix it. They installed new tub spouts that were also incorrectly installed and flooded my house on the first use. Management was very slow to respond and make it right. They acted like I was just complaining instead of just having spent thousands of dollars and wanting the work to be done correctly. I will never give a recommendation to this place. Avoid and use someone else if possible.
Michael diagnosed the problem with blower motor. Fortunately the unit was still under warranty so all I had to pay was instalation. Michael quickly installed and tested the new unit. I was very pleased with the service provided by Michael!
Affordable Plumbing personnel are very professional and quickly respond to your call. They provide a courtesy call when they are on their way, which is helpful so you know to prepare for them. They provide quality work at a reasonable cost. We love Affordable Plumbing!!
