The technician, Tim, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very professional and showed me photos of the inside of the system. I plan to use them in the future and would recommend them to my family and friends.

Travis is a local and I needed an emergency repair for my rental and he got back to me sooner coming from another job - he diagnosed the problem, got the part, and installed it quickly and checked out everything that other contractors missed over time that needed repair etc..was very reasonable price wise and great all the way !

I found TNR HVAC on Yelp and requested a quote. I was looking for him to install a brand new mini-split HVAC using the existing insulated copper line set and wiring. He quoted the job between $400 and $700. I called him and agreed on $550+tax. The first problem I had with Travis is that he pulled our existing wire out while unsuccessfully trying to run a new one. That led to my husband and I having to cut our drywall and spend 4 hours running new wire due to very difficult access. Travis then returned and completed the installation. He said everything was working fine and the unit was blowing hot air. At the end of the job, I asked him to adjust the pricing since he had caused us great aggravation by spending hours running wire and cutting/repairing/painting drywall which we did not need to do had he left the wire in place, as defined in the scope of work. We agreed on $450 and I paid $460 CASH. He issued a receipt for $450. THE VERY NEXT DAY, THE UNIT STOPPED WORKING. The wall unit was full of leaked refrigerant which spread onto the wall underneath. The refrigerant line connection on the outdoor unit was also wet with refrigerant and there was a pool of refrigerant underneath. We shared pictures and videos and asked him to return to repair the flare connections he made and replace the refrigerant but he refused. Travis claims that the leak is in our existing line set. But the videos and photos show that the leak is external, right under the connections he made (SEE PICTURE ATTACHED). If it had been the line set, the leakage would occur inside the walls and under the floor, and not be visible. Despite the new unit coming with new flares, Travis used the existing ones for his faulty connections, while taking our new flares away.
Travis had the audacity of posting a picture of our outdoor unit/house online to solicit new jobs. He is posting pictures of our mini split and our house without permission, and for a completely failed installation. This demonstrate Travis’ dishonesty.
In summary, Travis from TNR HVAC is utterly UNPROFESSIONAL and I hope that this company goes out of business so he does not ruin anybody else’s HVAC units or properties. We have yet to identify another HVAC company willing to re-do this installation and re-charge the brand new mini-split with refrigerant since Travis caused the factory charged refrigerant to be lost.
I would give ZERO stars, if that was possible.

UPDATE ON FEB 25, 2022 BASED ON RESPONSE FROM TNR HVAC:
Travis was contacted the next day after the install when the unit stopped working and, after repeated attempts of asking him to return to fix the leaky connections he made, he REFUSED to come back. He made ZERO attempts to correct his mistake.
He got paid $460 cash.
We have a damaged wall, a non-functioning mini-split and hundreds of dollars of upcoming expenses to repair the connections made by Travis and refill refrigerant.
So, this is definitely a WIN FOR HIM AND A LOSS FOR ME, make no mistake, no matter what this dishonest contractor wants you to believe.
