Can't say enough about how happy we are with Bickert's Heating & Air Conditioning! The first Winter in our home, the existing heating system broke down and needed to be replaced - Bickert's was so timely and helpful when we needed to replace our heat asap in the middle of winter! We knew we wanted to work with them again to install central air in our home - they came out this past week. We are so happy with our new A/C! So worth the investment and I love that they're a family-owned business and their team is nice to work with. They always have us covered when we have questions/hvac needs. Thank you Bickert's Team!
I have been in the Lehigh Valley for over 18 years and I have had many HVAC contractors and Bickert’s is the best. He does the job and there are no call backs. He does not try to sell you anything you don’t need. I highly recommend him.
AWESOME Service ... Ask for Corey he is very professional and he knows his job. He will show you what the problem is and why he needs to repair it. He cleaned my furnace ...he did a great job. Also at a different time......thought I had to replace my hot water heater....but it was the ignitor on my furnace. Excellent service and the girl on the phone was extremely friendly. Would highly recommend.
We called them because of an issue with the water heater, the manufacturer sent us the replacement and they installed it professionally and timely! Nick was great and scheduling with Kim was a breeze. We will continue to work with this group for our home needs.
Just as the first major heat wave hit the Lehigh Valley back in June, our central AC stopped working. Deluxe and Sarosky (both in Bethlehem) said they couldn't diagnose the problem until we moved a pipe that was in the way of the disconnect box (ultimately incorrect information) and charged steep diagnostic fees. Why Pay More charged a diagnostic fee of $75. Told us we needed a whole new AC system to the tune of $2900 to $5300. Andy H.A. Contracting had no diagnostic fee but did also tell us we needed replacement, and would charge $4300. He also wanted to put in a heat pump while he was at it. We landed with Bickert's HVAC, as recommended by a coworker of my husband. Barry, the owner, came out, did a thorough check (had access to the disconnect box with no problem), took the existing capacitor out, popped a new one in and - guess what? The AC turned on and stayed on! Then, he checked the refrigerant levels, which were low. He added one pound. Charged us $354 (185 capacitor, 80 refrigerant, 89 labor). Our house has been nice and cool, and for a small fraction of the cost of a whole new system. Barry Bickert is accurate, honest, and reasonably-priced. He has gained a loyal customer for life and I will be recommending him to everyone that I can. Some of the other companies that came to our home either were inaccurate (access to the disconnect box was not an issue) and/or tried to take advantage of the fact that they "specialize" in something that we know very little about. This was not only insulting to our intelligence and intuition (we knew enough to keep looking for the right company), they also lost the opportunity to pick up a life-long customer who will write a positive review and recommend them to others.
I was having trouble with my central air, and they came out 4 or 5 times, never a complaint, and the office lady, Jan, was incredibly nice and understanding.
