There was an installation delay that was out of their control (supply shortage), but the owner of the company kept me in the loop every step of the way. I can truly appreciate that kind of transparency as it builds trust from the customers.

I have been using J. Halligan & Sons for heating, A/C, and hot water since 1976, and I would recommend them to anyone without any reservations. Most recently, they replaced my hot water heater, which had started leaking less than a year after one of their servicemen, at a routine system cleaning, warned me that it was due for replacement. They have always been very reliable, and their rates seem reasonable. Their people are prompt, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to know them.

Had a toilet and water line replaced. Dan the plumber was professional and efficient. He kept in touch with me before and after the process and we discussed options before he began the work. I'lll use Halligan & Sons again in the future and would recommend their services.

I had been using J. Halligan & Sons for years for maintenance and repairs of my home oil heating system. They kept my oil heating system in good running condition for years until I replaced the oil unit with a new natural gas unit. They've also maintained the HVAC units at our church for years. Just this past summer they did a phenomenal job installing a new HVAC unit in the main sanctuary of our church. Mark Halligan handled everything and the Halligan HVAC installation team was the best. If I have any say in the matter, J. Halligan & Sons will continue to receive our repair calls for years to come.

In October, a zone in my home stopped heating. I just moved in so I wasn't familiar with my equipment yet. I needed my high-efficiency boiler cleaned anyway, so when the guy came out I mentioned the problem.

He didn't gripe about additional questions, he tested my thermostat and a bunch of stuff. He accurately determined the pump for that zone was broken. He asked if I wanted him to fix it (I did) so he went out, got a pump, and installed it. 2 hours later, totally done. He even spent time teaching me how the systems operate.

Completely ready for winter - good value I think. No complaining, no problem. 100% fix and the positive attitude was much appreciated.

We’ve been using Halligan for over 5 years and have been very impressed with the annual maintenance to our oil heater and the prompt service call responses when we’ve had to reach out the 2-3 times for issues with our heating system. Would highly recommend. 👍

Had an old natural gas furnace replaced. Absolutely the best! Mark Halligan was responsive to numerous phone calls and all the work that was requested was performed. The installers were excellent and the installation was very professionally done!

I know I can always count on them for quick service and great installation.

I've not had any experience with their service but one of their heating oil truck drivers drives like a maniac. Traveled up a turn only lane and cut back into the other lane at a light to avoid an accident on the far side of the road. Almost caused a second accident with his driving. If this is how they treat the public, I can't imagine their service being much better.
