I guess I'll never know if they are any good. I have called this business 4 times to fix a bathtub problem in the last 4 months and all I get is the boss will call you to set up an appointment. Alas he never calls. Apparently they don't need my business. Not very professional.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Had an issue with a floor drain in the basement backing up and called our home warranty. They sent a plumber (not Winston) who looked and said they thought the pipe was broke and it was soil and sh*#% backing up AND breaks weren’t covered in the warranty. I had visions of jackhammers in the basement while we dealt with sewer repair. They said this was a home insurance issue and they couldn’t touch it. Long story, short I called 3 plumbers in area who all said they were super busy due to Covid and couldn’t get to us until next week. Called George Winston. He was on another call but called me back himself (late on a Friday afternoon) within a few minutes and spent a lot of time on the phone understanding the situation. Said they were super busy too but would have someone out the next day (they work Saturdays regularly) if I couldn’t find anyone that day. He called promptly at 8 am the next day (Saturday) to see if I found anyone. Told him no so he said he had two guys on the way. Ken and Bill had the entire problem assessed and solved with clean up in less than 2 hours for a very reasonable fee! Clog was 75’ out close to the main. I found myself my new go to plumber! Highly recommend!

They were able to help us quickly and the price was reasonable. Friendly service as well. I appreciate them taking the time to show myself and my husband exactly what was causing the problem!

This may or may not be a great place - I don't know! The two workers sent out on Thursday March 25th did this whole Mutt and Jeff routine where one was pretending like he hurt his finger & the other spoke of speaking in tongues. It was my understanding that I should receive a new encasement + new air conditioner since mold and rust and corrosion we're in the entire old unit. I am awaiting to see if they complete the job.

Said I needed a wax ring. If that didn't last then it's either the pipe underneath or need a new toilet.
Well it leaked the same day so I need a new toilet. Just wish I knew that at the time and didn't have to make another service call.
However, they are the best plumbers I've used yet so thank you for good service at reasonable prices George.

Outstanding company from top to bottom! The customer service is off the charts and their tradesmen do excellent work. All at a fair and honest price. I highly recommend them for any plumbing, heating, or cooling work.

Great company!!!! They are friendly, courteous, and fast. They show up when they say they will!!! Me and my wife won't use anyone else, and most importantly the rates are reasonable!! They gained a new customer in us 3 years ago and we have called them back for more jobs.

I called George Winston Company because my furnace stopped working. I called them a little after 8am, told them the problem, and the guy who I was speaking with said that all the guys were currently headed out to other calls for service but that someone would get back to me soon to set up a time to stop by. He asked if I had no heat at all. When I said that I didn't have any heat (was in February), he said he would divert a guy and send them over right away! A repairman arrived about 20 minutes later and had my furnace running 20 minutes after that. The cost was extremely reasonable and the repairman was polite and efficient. I never expected service to be so fast! I will absolutely call these guys again!

If you want your furnace fixed do not call this place. We had a problem with our furnace kicking on and off and the heat not keeping our house warm. We called them to come fix it and the first time they “fixed it” they didn’t find the problem and said they fixed it only to have us call them the next day cause the heat still wasn’t kicking on. When we called them to have them come back they told us they would be here the next day and they never showed up! It wasn’t until we called them and called them out on what they did that they told us they would definitely be there the next day. But when they come the next day they had two guys come to try and “fix it” again and when they couldn’t find what was wrong with it they told us that they didn’t have all day to sit around to see if our furnace would kick on or not.
