    Two weeks ago Douglassville Mechanical installed a new heater and AC unit with custom duct work. Tyler did an awesome job and went the extra mile to wear shoe covers in the house. Everyone showed up on time and the job was finished in one day, love my new system!

    My AC went down and they were quick to provide several quotes and have someone out to see what was needed. In an extremely timely manner they had Tyler out to do the replacement. Extremely professional and treated it like he was working on his own house. I received updates throughout the process and couldn’t be any more pleased. I highly recommend their services and will be getting into their service contract for future needs. Well done!

    One of their employees decided to play chicken on a one lane, two direction street. It was unprofessional and dangerous. When asked to back up to allow my vehicle through they refused and laughed saying they would happily tell their boss for me. I’m assuming that management endorses this sort of behavior. They decided to stop my vehicle after traveling 200 yards and within 20 of exiting the parked cars/one lane section of roadway and forced me to reverse up the hill.

    I highly recommend Douglassville Mechanical. The technician who responded to our warranty service calls was organized, interested in the issues, knowledgable about how to address the issues, performed the work professionally, and answered all of my questions. This was one of the most positive experiences I have had with a service provider in my home.

    If you have the choice do not select Douglassville Mechanical for your heating installation or service. I have a new construction home and have had constant issues with my heating unit. Their emergency service number which is supposed to provide 24-7 service is never checked. As a result I have no heat and two young toddlers in the house. Unfortunately they are contracted with the builder but otherwise I would never use them again.

    I called Douglassville Mechanical this morning because my heat stopped working. Within the hour, they were able to come out. Kevin found the problem. He had the part on his truck and an hour later, we had heat again. A big thanks to the Douglassville Mechanical crew.

    Douglasville mechanical installed the AC unit in my home. The coil went bad in 4 years (numerous amounts of neighbors that they installed had the same issue). The mechanic Dwayne told me that the coil was covered under warranty and he would get it for me and it would still be $800 for labor. But since it was the middle of winter that we can install it early spring. I even got a phone call that they got the part. I called early spring to schedule a apt. Dwayne told me that the owner "did not care" and will not honor the warranty now. And they cant get the part. That fixing it now will be $1500. My husband called and they said that "they would see what they can do". That was over 2 weeks ago and we haven't heard a call back and no one picks up the phones in the office.
    We went with another company that charged hundreds less and was a pleasure to work with.
    Douglasville mechanical doesn't honnor warrantys, they lie and overcharges hundreds. That's if you get through to them on the phone.

    Called the “emergency” line on Saturday as our house was not heating up...we finally received a call back Monday afternoon. Would hate to see the response time on the normal line. Was planning to use them going forward as they installed our HVAC...lost an easy customer. That’ll be our last call to Douglassville Mechanical. Womp womp.
