The evening of December 1 (Thursday) our 1989 model furnace died. We called LK because we'd used them on a couple service calls in recent years and because I'm familiar with the good work they do for the N.O. City Schools. Well, my wife explained that she has COPD and cannot tolerate cold temperatures. She asked if they could help us out ASAP. And they sure did! They went above and beyond. The crew started Friday and finished the new furnace installation Saturday morning. Thanks to Bill, Bob, Jim, Travis, Conner, and the office staff. They were there for us when we needed them. Professional, knowledgeable, informative, hardworking, and, they laughed at my wife's jokes. The crew then came out Tuesday and replaced our whole-house AC unit. Thanks LK!

I woke up this morning to no heat at 730am. I called LK immediately and they sent out a tech by 8:30am. The repair guy Mike was phenomenal, took his time explaining what he was checking and why. He was able to determine it was a switch and was easily repaired. The pricing was extremely fair. I look forward to using LK for all of my HVAC needs.

Technician Mike took care of my small condo unit today. He did a superior job!
My building's a little tucked away and he needed directions but he called and got here as quickly as he could for the appointment. He had shoe covering on. He was respectful, to the point, worked hard, explained things. I really feel like I got my money's worth! He's my new favorite person @ LK. (Plus Jackie was very polite and helpful on the phone tiday. Nice gal.). Yay Mike. Thanks!

Jim and Josh? completed the removal and installation in a challenging tight space. They answered all our questions and demonstrated routine maintenance procedures. LK Heating and Cooling recently installed a new Trane furnace and AC unit. The salesman was prompt for his appointment, carefully observed my current system, made suggestions for improved service and provided me with a prompt estimate for the service. The estimate was comparable with that of another company.
The two installers arrived at the time/date promised. They finished the installation in about 1.5 days. They were very thorough and neat. Everything was cleaned up when they were done. Both the salesman and the installers wore masks and distanced themselves.
I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Very satisfied with my experience, from the repairman, Mike, to Bill, who came to my home to go over options for my new furnace. The guys that installed it (I don't remember their names) were very professional and courteous; did the job in a timely manner. After they were finished with the job, my maintenance manager checked it out and commented that it looked to him that they did everything right. And I thought that they gave me a fair price.

From start (initial visit and quote) to finish of job, truly a positive experience all the way around. Bill (sales rep) did not push products but gently made thoughtful suggestions along with reviewing product brochures. Jackie and Betty at the main office were very helpful in keeping me posted as well as answering questions and providing documentation. The work crew (Josh, Matt, Travis and Hunter) were very professional, respectful, friendly, informative, and considerate of the job and our home. We are happy with the new furnace and A/C and I'm sorry I did not use LK Heating and Cooling much sooner in my needs.

I wish I could give them 100 stars. My husband and I are so pleased with everything LK did for us. Our carbon monoxide detector woke us on a Thurs morning. They had a serviceman out to our house within 20 minutes of our call. They installed our new furnace the next day! They went above and beyond for us and we can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend them. Bill, the serviceman and the installers all were a pleasure to deal with. We are very pleased.

The technician definitely took advantage of us. We had a home warranty and our furnace started making a loud noise when it would turn on. The warranty was expiring and we have a newborn baby and didn't want to risk the heat failing. We called and got the tech out who told us we needed to replace a part, but that he had to order it and come back. He was at our house for 30 minutes, including the time he sat in his van and we had to go out and ask him what was going on. Came back a few days later and replaced the part. That night, the furnace started making a worse (squealing) noise plus the original noise. We called back, he came back out, looked it over (took about 30-40 minutes), and said there were so many things wrong with the furnace, he couldn't even begin to repair it, we needed a whole new furnace (mind you it is 10 years old). Charged us for 2.5 hours of labor and left. Our warranty paid him. 6 weeks later, furnace not working, another company came out, replaced a much cheaper part, cleaned it out and it's perfect.
L K Heating & Cooling very obviously took advantage of our home warranty, made as much money as they could and left us without doing what was necessary, in hopes that we'd buy a new furnace with them. Thank goodness we didn't.
Will highly recommend against this company to any inquirers.
