Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning Services

Was very nervous due to other reviews so I was pleasantly surprised when Bob was extremely nice, efficient and professional! When our AC stopped we filed a claim with our Home Warranty, they sent it to Bob who came out within 3 days of filing the claim. He came out and diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary part and within a week it was fixed! The only issue was he gave very short notice when headed to my house, but I was able to make it work each time.

1st American home warranty sent him out to my house to fix my furnace that was already diagnosed with a cracked heating exchanger. He came out stepped into my house and immediately said "let me tell you straight everyone is out for money and free stuff so I don't believe what they or you say. I will do what I want." Didn't even open up the furnace, I had to give him the screwdriver and demand he do it. He then states the only thing that was wrong was the ignitor was dirty.....cleaned it and then stated everything was fine. Never scoped it, took off the top panel and told me the corrosion that was evident on the pump was "normal" and not an issue. He then left. I called 1st American to complain, they called him and he denied all of it! They stated they would go with him and not my word. BEST part? I got the original company that diagnosed it to come out after Bob was here,, because it wasn't heating anymore since he left and Bob somehow fried my circuit board!! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Our home warranty picked this contractor. He is horrible. 1. He never contacted us to let us know if was coming or even got the work order.

2. He just randomly shows up while we are at work. I talk to him through the smart door bell to inform we are at work. He just rudely walks off and gets in his van and leaves. Doesnt answer his phone and hasnt even tried to contact us.

No one sits around their house just waiting for a contractor to show up with no appointment time!

Do not use this guy for any needs. I have a home warranty and he’s the only one in my area that works with them so that’s who they had chose. He has been to my home 3 times in one year for the same problem. Furnace was out and setting my smoke alarms off and is throwing a code, he comes and cleans the flame sensor every time then a couple months later it does the same thing again. Instead of actually fixing the problem or replacing the part. First time he told me a day he’d come and said he’d contact me for a time, never did and just randomly showed up at my home with no appointment time. Another time it took him weeks to come wouldn’t answer the phone. I’m on my 4th time now this year my furnace is out once again in the middle of winter doing the same thing and he said he will not come for free but he’s had plenty of chances to fix it and I have to pay every time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great contractor. Very attentive to detail. Stands behind his work.

Took 3 months to try to fix our ac unit. He was the contracted ac repairman through our home warranty otherwise we would have never used him. He broke something each time he was out here. Overcharged and tried to get us to pay a service charge for each visit. Took 1-3 hours during each visit. Come to find out he ordered the wrong parts so the unit wouldn't work! We complained to our home warranty and they ordered the correct parts. The parts were delivered to Bob who refused to sign for these and refused to come back out and fix what he never fixed! We met up with ups got the parts. End of story we complained to our home warranty and they sent out a new contractor who fixed what bob messed up in 1 hour. Do not use Bob. He doesn't know his job, will talk down to you, and will scam you out of a service charge for each visit.

My home insurance contracted this guy to work on our furnace. He was supposed to call me and never did so I ended up calling him to see what's up. He finally showed up at our home in an unmarked van, with no tools, no supplies or parts, completely unprepared. He spends about 15 minutes looking at the furnace and tells me it's my thermostat. The thermostat is brand new so I questioned him and at that point he got hostile and rude. Said he'd be back in the morning to replace it. 11am the next day rolls around he never shows up so I call him and he tells me he is busy and isn't sure when he'll show up. We ended up calling another company to come out and they showed up in less than an hour and had it working in 45 minutes. It didn't cost me any more than the home insurance service fee and I got professional customer service.

Moral of the story: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY. He's a joke and a half.

This guy is a joke. Referred by our home warranty service. Doesn't answer his phone, doesn't return calls, doesn't even have a proper voicemail message set up. As far as I can tell, he's not even in business anymore. If he is, he's the shittiest small business owner I've ever tried to contract.

Don't waste your time. This dude clearly doesn't care about representing himself as a professional.

We have a home warranty and this is the only company who would come out and fix our furnace. He has been out 4 times and hasn't fixed our furnace. Would never recommend to anybody unless you like to freeze in the winter.

Took over a month to get him to put in a new heater. He broke something every time he came. Now 18 months later, he won't honor the warranty.
