Apollo canceled my appointment after I waited 2 weeks for them to come out. Don't do business with this company. They are unreliable.

**BUYER/CONSUMER BEWARE**
I contacted Apollo home heating and air-conditioning company to come out and do a standard yearly maintenance check of my AC unit.
It is to be noted that my unit is working perfectly fine when the technician arrived. No issues whatsoever other than the standard yearly check.
This technician came to my home and allegedly found eight issues wrong with my AC unit. Everything from the blower motor to the evaporator coil. He was adamant on stressing that my AC unit was in such bad condition that it needed to be replaced.
I did not believe this individual for one second because I have my unit serviced yearly and no one has told me that anything was ever wrong or malfunctioning. He stated that my AC cost to be replaced would be roughly $3,200.
I decided to have a second company come to my home for another opinion concerning my AC unit. This company was; Fast Response Heating and Cooling. This technician did a thorough check and evaluation of my AC unit and found absolutely NOTHING WRONG with my AC unit or its performance. He stated that my unit was in good shape.
A word of advice for all consumers. Always get a second opinion of anyone coming to your home that state extreme problems with any appliance. Especially an appliance that has never had any issues.
I would’ve been out of $3,200 dollars if I’d listened to this technician.
Anyone reading this review and are considering using or calling APOLLO for services you may want to rethink your decision. People work too hard today and are struggling to make ends meet to have a company try and scam you out of your hard earned money. BEWARE OF APOLLO!!

New furnace/ac installation went great. Had a misunderstanding on a service call later but they gave a discount. So far seems like a legitimate business

Apollo was prompt to come out and the repair tech was very nice. He diagnosed my non functioning AC unit and determined that I needed a new fan motor and a new disconnect box. He provided a quote of over $1500. I felt this was expensive and quickly googled the average estimated cost to repair, which was around $500. I pointed this out and he said Apollo was generally more expensive but offered top quality and service. I felt like I was being taken advantage of so I declined the repair and paid the $79 trip fee. I picked up both of the parts I needed locally for just over $100 and made the repair myself in about 2 hours. Never made these repairs before, but with google/YouTube it was pretty easy. I have no problem paying for service and the overhead associated with the cost of running a business, but this was extremely out of the ball park. Unless it is an emergency and you can’t find anyone else, my opinion is that you should look for another AC repair company.

Just had Jeremy check our system for our fall checkup.Arrived on time. very polite good individual. checked the system thoroughly and timely. made informative recommendations as needed. not pushy. afterwards company sent email as follow up on service.
The company is conscientious of it's customers. They'll call you to set up your appointment. they will notify you the day before to verify time frame. the day of your appointment they will send you an e-mail with the associates picture telling you that he's on his way.(I recommend you sign up for their program so you get a spring and fall check up and discounts and it makes it easier to pay a little each month rather than having to cough up lump sums).

Had a prior bad experience but gave them another chance to do a routine AC maintenance. On the day of the scheduled work they cancel because they have too much work. They could come 3 weeks later and come at me with lots of attitude. Bottom line, they care about their bottom line first and your convenience second. No integrity. AVOID.

Electrical inspection performed as part of my monthly maintenance program, and the electrician, Neil, did a great job. I told him about some issues we had with a few outlets, and he was able to pinpoint the problem and replace the faulty outlet that caused the problem. Also upgraded two outlets to GFCI where needed in basement bathroom and near bar sink. Very professional and personable.

My AC is not working, I realize its that time of year with summer. I expected a wait, but what I did not expect was to call them, be told someone would be there within the hour, have someone call me 2 hours later and say sorry we don't have any appointments today, then call a day later and be told I would be called when they have something open, and still nithing. Its been 4 days now. Meanwhile 2 different companies offered to take the job and be here today or tomorrow.
I was disappointed for all the good I've heard about Apollo and all the advertising they have. Even if theyre busy I get that. But the appointment debacle left a rather bad taste in my mouth.

DO NOT call Apollo
$180 for a 20 min service call for my friends who live in Bond Hill.... even though the invoice reflects they bill $60 for each 15 min increment.
Received an estimate for three “necessary” parts totaling $2400. Called Arlinghaus for a second opinion and all that was needed were 3 mounting screws which they did at no cost.
Called John Matarese with “9 on your side” who came out the next day to investigate - episode airing soon . Call Arlinghaus!
