ERIC SPURLOCK

Do not waste your time with this company. I had to deal with the owner for home repairs and he cancelled on me three times then he smarted off to me when I asked him why he couldn't keep the appointments.

Carolyn Paetow

I called a phone number in the directory that indicated that it was "Mr. Rooter", a plumbing company I had once used and been very satisfied with. When I noticed that the woman answering used some other name, I just assumed the company had changed its name. I told her what I needed, which was two simple plumbing repairs. I waited all morning for a plumber to arrive, and finally an old man showed up carrying nothing but a smartphone. I told him I had a dripping kitchen faucet and a broken flusher arm on one toilet. He looked at my kitchen faucet and immediately told me I needed a new one--that putting old parts in would not help. When I suggested he check it, he said, "Oh, you'd have to turn the water off to do that." I told him there was a valve under the sink, and he just nodded and took a picture, telling me that the company would order a new faucet and have my insurance company pay. "My boss is real good at getting them to pay," he said. I then showed him the commode, and he said he might have a replacement part in his vehicle. He left and came back, saying he did not, and took a photo. I then told him I had another commode that had been turned off and asked if it were safe to turn it back on. He asked to see it and saw that the tank lid was cracked. He told me I needed a whole new commode and took a photo, again saying his boss was good at getting insurance companies to pay. I asked if he would call his boss and let me talk to him, and he immediately replied that his boss was not in the office (at about 1 pm). I told him I didn't feel that I should pay him for the call since he did nothing. He said, "Give me the check right now, or I'm leaving." and then, "I'm just here to take pictures." To tell the truth, I felt rather sorry for the man, even though I felt suspicious. I gave him a check, and he told me he would put a rush order on what I needed. I grew more uneasy and went to my insurance agent, who told me that, if I did accept any co-pays for the items, there would be a $500 deductible. I went to the bank and put a stop on the check I had written. If I had wanted someone to come out to take photos and then try to get insurance coverage, I would have liked to have been told that on the phone. What I wanted was simple repairs. I feel like the whole operation is a scam.

Preecell Project

Lied and never finished job left open sewage venting into home where children were. Possibly the most immoral company i have ever dealt with. Do not recommend even if its your last choice.

This is a horrible company! Very frustrating to deal with and very unprofessional! They lie about when they are gonna come out to service your house and make you wait all day for them not to show up! I'm almost 8 months pregnant and have been without air conditioning now in the middle of summer for over a week due to this company! They came out to my house was there 5 minutes looked at my unit said I need a new one and now 5 days later the home warranty company still don't have the report from them! I'm sure if this was there daughter or wife going without air in the middle of summer they would be right on it๐Ÿ™„ So angry and frustrated at this point!

I had a leak in my downstairs ceiling which turned out to be more painfully complicated than expected as the leak was originating from behind my bathtub stall. However, the servicemen, Adam together with Tim and John, figured out a workaround which reduced a two-day job down to a couple of hours or so which lessened the bill from four figures down to three. And this was all done on the same day I called. They were courteous and efficient, and they answered my many questions very graciously. They made a very stressful time a little less stressful, and I am very grateful for that.

My air conditioning was leaking into my laundry room floor when I bought my house. I needed a repair man called these guys and the air conditioning guy was top notch and my a/c was fixed the same day! I highly recommend these guys.

Their morons. Requested service June 3rd through home warranty company. They showed up June 6th and misdiagnosed the problem with a.c. We have been waiting two months and they never could get it right. Always had to call American home shield and have them call contractor cause their idiots. Expected me to pay $600 for something that has taken two months. Called Teays valley heating and cooling this morning. They were here by one and a.c. was fixed by two. Took them an hour to do something that service pros couldn't do in two months and it only cost $320. Had nothing to do with condenser like service pros said had to do with the thermostat. They will be getting sued in small claims court cause the two months they did nothing my electric bill was over $500 each month.

The owner is arrogant with no manners nor customer service culture. They lie when they come. I spent a whole day that I had to take from work and they DID NOT SHOW UP. And when they appeared, the technician made a mess and did not fix what he supposed to do. On the contrary, he left the device not working at all ( it was broken and working when he arrived) and left saying he needed a recall order. AVOID THEM
