McClintock Heating and Cooling

I have been using McClintock Heating and Cooling for many years and been very happy with their service. The first time I used them was when I needed a new air conditioning unit installed. Mike McClintock came to give me a quote for the new air conditioner. He was very nice and courteous and gave me a reasonable quote without being pushy. The installers were excellent. Today I had my spring maintenance done by Jake. He did a great job explaining everything and found two things that I was not aware of that would have caused problems in the near future. He did the repairs and was very thorough. I was more than happy with his service. I highly recommend McClintock for any HVAC issues.

Jake was great. He communicated well and was very thorough, as we have come to expect from our regular system check visits. Well worth it for the peace of mind.

Service tech, Roger Spittle, was so helpful in not only repairing one of our units but giving us an update on the other unit as well and the condition of our crawl space. The entire process of selection and installation was performed in an attentive, informed, and timely manner by the McClintock team. The office personnel were always pleasant and efficient with my calls. Danny was super at helping me choose the system. Dalton and Brennan and the entire installation team were thorough and did an excellent job. Follow up by Ryan was also thorough at educating me and making sure the system was performing optimally. I am very satisfied with the HVAC system and highly recommend McClintock Heating and Cooling.

The company that installed and maintained our Trane heat pump went out-of-business. I conducted a search of local heating and air conditioning companies who had the resources, experience and customer service reputation to meet our HVAC needs going forward. We selected McClintock from a short list of finalists and signed up for their Comfort Pro semi-annual maintenance program.

We had our first spring service visit last week. I was very impressed with how polite and professional the technician, Jake, was. He arrived when scheduled, listened as I described the heat pump’s history and patiently answered all of my questions.

Jake tested and performed maintenance on every aspect of our system from refrigerant levels to temperature, pressure and electrical readings. Upon leaving, he provided an invoice listing everything that was done plus a detailed description of the Comfort Pro service agreement.

In summary, I’m very satisfied with my initial experience with McClintock. I look forward to many years of excellent service!

I am giving their service and response time 5 stars. The staff and technicians are prompt, professional and polite. No complaints at all there.
If there were a separate rating for equipment, I would only give it 3 stars. This is a Trane system, supposedly excellent reputation, but it sprang a big refrigerant leak after 2 years. To McClintock's credit, it is being replaced and repaired under warranty.

What an awesome service Matt performed. He was quick and efficient. Made sure all of our questions were answered and made sure the system was running properly before he left. Worked clean. Super friendly.

I had Danny from McClintock hvac come out last year and give me a quote on a new a/c and furnace. He made sure to only sell me what I needed and didn’t try and upsell me on a 4ton when he said I only needed a 3ton. I really appreciated that honesty. I had them also upgrade to a dual zone which has made a world of difference in the cooling of my upstairs now. Even when it was 95° outside last summer, I was able to keep my downstairs at 72° and upstairs at 70° without any problems. They gave me a 5 year labor warranty to go along with the 10 year parts warranty with Train. I highly recommend McClintock and everyone there. They’re great to work with.
