Generally l, I don't post reviews of companies under my real name, due to the fact that I have been contacted by companies in the past about my reviews. However, this mechanic is such a scam artist, that they had reported to my warranty company that they completed the repairs after never showing up and after a month of following up with Jon, constantly. This is absolutely a vile business practice. Not only will I be writing a poor review here, I will also be filling a report with the BBB as well as Jon deserves to lose what ever contract he has with the warranty company, along with any professional accreditation that comes with the territory of being a mechanic. This is related to a claim through choice home warranty for Kalvin. The owner of the company knows what they have done wrong. Due to the fact that we have a camera system for our home, I would love for him to say what time he came to actually do the repairs and we can look at the files to prove he was never here. It's a shame I have to go through the trouble of writing a poor review and filling with the BBB but such is life.
They provided the wrong time window when they originally scheduled our service call. Then when I followed up to ask why no one had shown up they said it was a miscommunication and that they'd have someone come out that afternoon. No one ever showed up. When I called the next morning they didn't answer, but I eventually received a text that "an emergency had come up" so that's why no one made it out. The technician eventually did come out was very nice and did the best he could, but ultimately we are still experiencing the same issue and nothing was fixed.
They never answer the phone and are incredibly unreliable/hard to get a hold of.
I trust JMG Mechanical for any of my heating and cooling repairs. They diagnosed the problem quickly and they took the time to explain it to me. I liked the fact that if the part could be repaired, they do it and don't tell you they need to order a new part. That saves me money! JMG Mechanical is very knowledgeable in their field, they are prompt and honest.
JMG will be my go to for my AC/Heating repair needs ect. I've had the pleasure of doing business with this company twice once though my home warranty and recently by me contacting them directly. The technician that I dealt with was very professional, responsive, helpful and he LISTENED, you can't say that for all... Recently, I had an issue with my A/C not coming on.... (I had this issue the previous year and wasn't sure if it was the same thing so I mentioned it to him). He did his normal routine when he got finished he checked out the issue I mentioned. I am so GRATEFUL that he did not brush it of HE LISTENED and checked it out. I asked questions, he gave me explanations and left me with instructions. And to this day my A/C is still kicking. Thank you JMG.
They were supposed to fix an issue that was NOT covered by my warranty company. A service for which I paid out of pocket. The issue was fixed for 8 hours and then reoccurred the next day. I called numerous times that next day AND emailed. Since they are closed on the weekend I didn't get a response until Monday. they opted NOT to send a tech out to come tell me why the drain is being clogged which I fell should have been addressed in the initial visit. Bad customer service.
Knowledgeable, Fast communication, great prices… really go the extra mile for their customers. This is our second time using this company. Great experience as always!
