Called company to get our air conditioning unit serviced because it was not as cold as it normally is. Requested them to look over our inside and outside units in order to take care of any other issues that may be affecting the system and also service a 3-door cooler that had been off for a while. The tech refilled the freon/coolant and that everything else was functioning perfectly. Two days later the unit is down for the count; completely this time. Called them back and the tech cleaned the outside unit, saying that it needed a thorough cleaning (apparently he did not see that just a couple of days ago), and advised that everything should be fine from this point forward. 24 hours later, the unit is not functioning at all and we call them in for a third time and get a diagnosis that the compressor outside is no longer functioning on Friday, right before 5. The next entire week we were advised daily that no compressor could be found yet and that they will let us know when they know more.
It was only Josh that finally shed some light on the actual issue; we finally found out that there was NEVER an issue with the compressor, it was the pump that removes condensation that was the issue.

Synopsis:
* Almost two weeks of loss of business, aggravated customers, and stressed staff.
* $3,000.00+ is melted/destroyed merchandise.
* ~$2,000.00 in motivational lessons from High Point Refrigeration (HPR), to get off our behinds and take care of our issues ourselves instead of trusting a company you have been dealing with for almost 20 years.
* According to HPR they are still supposed to be getting back to us regarding a compatible condensation pump.

Resolution:
* Wet/Dry Vacuum and a Universal Condensation Pump from Harbor Freight for a total expense of $80 purchased and installed by ourselves.
* 3-Door Cooler serviced on the first visit has been out since three days after their service of the unit.

This company responded promptly to our request for service. They came out in a matter of a few hours, and diagnosed our system very quickly. They worked diligently to find the appropriate parts that we needed to ensure that our system would function properly. They came back out the same day close to closing time to try and get our system fixed that same day since we have a small baby. They ran into an issue and we’re unable to fix it that evening, but came out on a Saturday morning when they are typically closed and fixed our system for us. We are very thankful that they paid attention to detail, came out on a day that they typically do not work just to fix our system, and they we’re very caring and professional. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs. You will not be disappointed!

I could not speak more highly of this company. The AC went out in our restaurant. I called after hours, Josh the manager, called me immediately. He was on the scene first thing in the morning to get us up and running. The service with this company was prompt, professional and caring.

Excellent well ran company! We recently had a broken AC unit and called High Point and they came straight to my house there shortly and had it fixed and up and running within the hour! The workers and owner was very nice and professional. Will definitely be using them moving forward!

Worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They overcharge on the time that was spent at the location, and you don't find that out until they send you an invoice in the mail; at this point, the company becomes unable to be contacted. The receptionist is unable to help with any billing issues, for that the general manager is needed. While, we've had to contact this company on multiple occasions, the general manager is always unreachable. This company is literally scamming people by adding extra time into their labor costs.

This brings me to to the second issue, they allow the serviceman that had come to help to not properly check what the issues are. They let them guess that the issue is fixed and leave. They gave us a $500 bill overcharged the time spent with the issue still persistent with our freezer; at this point we had to get another overcharged time spent, and another $500 bill. Since the invoices are sent via mail, we didn't even receive the first overcharge until after we had to have another serviceman come out. Resulting in two overpriced bills coming at the same time. This company is scamming people of their money, and become completely un-contactable for resolutions as soon as they send out their invoice for you to pay.

This crew was amazing! They put in a new unit at our home. They gave us a great price. They were always on time. They were Very clean and professional the entire time. Extremely happy with the work that was completed.

I called the company this morning as my coolers were not cooling...spoke to Melissa. Really pleasant and they were able to accommodate me the same day...a plus. Vendors got to store at 12:28 (according to my camera) and left at 1:50 -- they charged me for 2 hours (not a plus)

After explaining the problem, service techs were good at getting right to the issue to resolve (a plus). They kept me informed and that was appreciated (a plus).

Now, the surprise. Got my bill and it was $894.34...a whopping $500.00 more than I had paid just 2 years ago (highway robbery). Reason I was given is that the R-22 coolant was expensive and they charge $95.00 per pound and I was given 6 lbs.

So I set out to find a small business that could have done the job ...still looking but I went to refrigerant depot and saw they sell the same R-22 10 lb canister for $240.00 ($24.00 per pound). Charging $95.00 is just highway robbery.

A very expensive lesson learned here. Since I didn't want to do any searches and wanted to support a local business, I paid dearly for it. I will no longer be using this company as they seriously overcharge in service. As a result of this experience, I will not enter into the bi-monthly contract to service any of my equipments anymore.

Supposedly my coolers should work now. I'll monitor over the weekend. If it doesn't, I'll be on the phone first thing on Monday.

For anyone thinking of using this company, MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR A QUOTE BEFORE YOU EVEN ATTEMPT TO HAVE SERVICE PERFORMED.

Circle R has had to call them 4 times to fix our walk in beer cooler. They say it's fixed maybe for a day then it's out again. They charge every time which the repair should be warranty since they say it's the same part

!!!BEWARE!!! Due to a Quickbooks bug, we paid these people twice on the same day, for the same work. I don't know why they would even cash both checks. We have been trying to get a refund for months. We just get the run around every day when we call them, and the owner refuses to return my calls. I am now forced to waste my time in small claims court to get my money back. They have owed me over $2,000 for months!!!

Thanks for the reply! My frustration could have been avoided by simply communicating with me, instead of blowing me off every time that I called the office....
