Trustworthy, reliable, reasonably priced, wonderful staff. We have trusted Lindsay Heating and Air for almost 20 years. They came highly recommended by a builder. They've replaced our upstairs unit and all the ductwork. The city inspector who came to verify the work done, said, "he was really impressed by the excellent job that had been done." Lindsay also maintains my downstairs unit that was installed by a previous company. They provide a fall and spring reasonable service check up that keeps my units running efficiently and smoothly. The women who answer the phone and schedule appointments are always pleasant and helpful. I trust Lindsay Heating and Air. I highly recommend them for service, installation and maintenance of all your heating and cooling equipment.
I had a furnace and air conditioner installed in my house. I requested Lindsay heating of Charlotte to come on Monday They arrived at my home promptly at 9am in the morning. They did an an excellent job installing my furnace. The team at Lindsay heating is honest and reliable. They are also affordable.
I had Lindsay replace my entire heating and air system 6 years ago, it was a great experience. Even after a power surge and some issues with our thermostat a few years later, Lindsay responded immediately and with the most pleasant employees. I would recommend them highly.

I have used them now for several years for standard annual servicing and just had them replace both exterior A/C and heat pump units due to recent storm damage. They are one of the easiest and most trustworthy companies to work with and offer very competitive pricing. The service is top notch beginning with the office staff all the way to the technicians. I’m so glad I finally found a reliable and honest HVAC company. I highly recommend.
After getting the diagnosis and estimate to fix an item that was causing our air conditioning issue, my husband decided to fix the issue on his own. As we continued to have further problems that were not identified within the diagnostics, we called Lindsay Heating and Air again to have them come out and do another diagnostics, they refused to come out if we didn't purchase their services afterwards. After I explained that we couldn't afford the price to pay for the fix and would pay for the diagnostics fee again, they still refused to help. In my opinion, it was bad business, they offer a diagnostics service, but only really mean it if you plan to purchase the services to fix. Unfortunately, their system was installed in my house at the time of purchase so we were routed to them first. I was able to contact someone else and they came out did the diagnostics and managed to fix it all in one visit with no added charges. They explained to me the system is very outdated and that's what was causing a lot of our issues.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They could not have chosen a more unpleasant person to answer their calls. This company installed our AC unit 2 years ago and it currently has a freon leak and this company refused to send someone out today when the temperatures are 90 degrees out and we have been without AC for 3 days. The original owners of this home had a labor warranty and 5 year parts warranty and this company is refusing to honor the labor warranty. Do not take their word for anything. **update** When calling the company back to speak to a manager, I spoke with the “owners wife.” She immediately became defensive, yelling and refusing to hear my situation. It was also discovered that I am the 4th house on our street to have a freon leak in less than 2 year old units and ironically all Rheem AC units were installed by Lindsay Heating & Air.
Lindsay Heating and Air Conditioning not only installed our system years ago, but continues to be the reliable service we can depend on for fast service when we need help. I woke up to no air conditioning on a very hot July morning and Todd fixed me up before 11am. He also put up with my dog barking and laughed at my terrible sense of humor.
We called them on a Thursday evening and they came out Friday morning, diagnosed the issue and stated they would need to order a part which would take 3-5 days to come in. We were leaving the country so coordinated with them to leave a key so that they could have access to the crawl space while we were gone. Not hearing a word from them, we emailed them two days prior to flying back were told the part was still not in (10 days had passed). We arrived home to a 45 degree home, they then came the next day to fix the heat only to have the fan break and they would need to order yet another part. We were without heat for almost two weeks (granted we were not home some of that time), but still when we were promised a turnaround of 3-5 days with no communication from them we were very disappointed in the service. Even more frustrating was the lack of empathy on their end.
If I could give more stars I would! We were told multiple things were wrong with our A/C unit, until we called this company. The owner came out and diagnosed the problem within minutes. I will definitely be using this company again and recommend to others in need of AC fixes. Kudos to the receptionist that called this morning to work us in their busy schedule and most of all a HUGE thanks to the owner!!!!
Do not use. Our AC unit had issues just a few months ago and they came out and fixed it. Our warrenty then ran out just 2 weeks ago and sure enough the AC unit stopped working today. Called them and they said our warrenty ran out and we’d have to pay 129 just to come out and then more for labor after that. A good AC company would take care of this given they just came out less than 2 months ago and there’s ANOTHER issue. Do not recommend.
