Cooney Air Conditioning & Heating

I decided I wanted a ductless-split system installed in my home. I called Cooney Air Conditioning & Heating for an estimate. Ron Stevens (Systems Specialist) met with me at my house to discuss the matter. Ron was great… straight-forward, personable, and professional. I decided to go ahead with the installation based on my conversation with Ron. The install team, led by Brian, were also personable and professional. Everything was installed cleanly and I am very much enjoying the ductless-split system over the window AC units that I’ve used in the past. The ductless-split system cools down my house within minutes and is very quiet. I love it. Thank you Cooney!

We had them install a furnace and air conditioner and humidifier in June, 2019. The installers did a perfect job. Everything was neat and clean and precise. When they were done everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed a very quiet air conditioner in a very hot July. Now in November we are enjoying a two stage furnace that is keeping the house very comfortable with controlled humidity. Ron Stevens did a great job in designing improvements to our duct work to make it more efficient too. We definitely would recommend Cooney Heating and Air Conditioning.

I would highly recommend using Cooney Air Conditioning! From the time I spoke with the receptionist, the Sales Rep and then made the decision to use them they have been extremely professional, and courtesy! Lisa that answers the phone was so kind and patient with my initial questions, the Sales Rep, Ron listened to what I thought I needed and didn't try to up sell me. Ron was very informative and educated on different models they carry. It was a great experience listening to his knowledge and that is what sold me! Lastly, Brian and Scott installed my unit and they to were, extremely professional, very polite and respectful. I would also like to add the day they installed my unit it was 94 degree's out and not one complaint from Brian and Scott. Again, there are a lot of Air Conditioning & Heating companies out there, by far I would pick hands down Cooney Air Conditioning. I had three neighbors watching the work that was being done and all three neighbors decided to use Cooney as well. Thank you Cooney Air Conditioning for remembering Customer Service! You all went above and beyond the call of duty!

My central air unit wasn't working. I called Cooney and they sent a technician out to look at the ac unit. The technician promptly fixed the problem and had the unit running. He also cleaned the ac unit and checked to make sure the ac was blowing out the cold air at the correct temperature. I couldn't be happier with Cooney AC & Heat. I'll definitely have them come out in the fall to clean my furnace and make sure it's running properly.

Cooney Air Conditioning & Heating recently designed and installed a new variable speed heat pump / AC system in our new build and we could not be happier.

I first met with Scott before construction began and he helped design the system. This involved a lot of measurement and planning. Scott then helped to insure the duct work was installed properly and then they installed the system.

The Cooney team is extremely professional, very knowledgable, neat, courteous and always on time. I can't say enough about how great they are.

We now live in an unbelievably comfortable house with the ability to heat or cool perfectly balanced zones. The system Scott designed has resulted in an incredibly efficient/low cost operation of our HVAC system.

A repair man, Mike, came the next business day after our call. Of all the companies we called for help, they were the most knowledgeable, and even asked for the serial number of our compressor so they could have the parts ready when they arrived here. He was very friendly, listened to my problem and what I thought was wrong. He found the problem, replaced the parts on my AC unit that had been causing a power surge. He checked the unit over and made sure it was running at it's best. He was very polite, friendly and knew what he was doing. I was very happy with this service. I felt confident that he replaced only what we needed, to resolve our problem and the pricing was fair and honest. He even said goodbye to my little kids. I would definitely call them again.

Ron the service specialist was absolutely courteous and professional. He was very concerned for my satisfaction and happiness with getting and installing my new furnace and that the cost was very reasonable for me, which it was, definitely. The installers came the next day with my new Amana efficiency furnace and Nest learning/wifi thermostat and had installed and running by midafternoon. They also were very professional and did a great job.

In the spring, met with Cooney representative at the Syracuse Home and Garden Show. Called office to have someone provide an estimate for central air. The office staff said estimator was on vacation and would call when he returned. Waited and no one called. Followed up and was told he would call within the hour, I'm still waiting for that call since late May.

If business is that good, congratulations. If it isn't, maybe this is why. Needless to say went with another company that was happy to make and show up for appoinrments.

Very pleased with Cooney. Had a carbon monoxide problem at our new house. Cooney was out first thing the next morning. Eric did a fantastic job with our vent issues. Reasonably priced and very professional all around. Would use again.

Cooney delivered in everything they told us! New furnace and roof top air conditioning unit installed and operating in two days. Professional, clean, timely...we can’t say enough positive about them. Ron and Brian are rockstars!
