Elmer and his team did the most amazing job when my original 30 something-year-old furnace died a few days before the holidays this past December. After a temporary fix by my usual furnace guy, who told me it could go at any time...and I needed a new Furnace and AC unit as well. I researched and got estimates by 4 of the local companies. Although not the lowest bid, Elmer of Enviromax was the most straight forward, honest, of all, he showed me the problems, explained the whole job and answered all my questions. His team was respectful and cleaned up my furnace room better then they found it!! He came back yesterday to check that my AC was working and make sure everything was ok. He told me to call him anytime. I highly recommend Enviromax for your HVAC needs. 👍

I called HS Enviromax to get a quote for a replacement of a central air system and Hermelindo (Elmer) came the very next day. The owner gave me a very fair quote and gave great advice as to what SEER level of the AC unit made economic sense for my situation. In about a week he brought in a crew of about seven people who multitasked beautifully. While a few of the guys were dismantling the air handler in the attic, another person was unboxing the compressor while another was removing the old compressor and preparing the ground for the new one. The staff was so experienced and so well orchestrated that they completed the job in just 1 day! The job site was left immaculately clean. Jacqueline, the Office Assistant was also very responsive to calls or emails. Highly recommend this outfit!

This was the second time we have called Enviromax and had Elmer come help us out of a tough situation with our heatpump/AC problems. The first time he helped us expeditiously and thoroughly and this time it was the same experience. He is friendly and knowledgeable. This included knowing when we needed to ask another professional for consultation. He connected us with another person who was able to come out the same night and fix our issue (heatwave, broken AC and a one year old) Elmer is our go to HVAC guy!

We used them once, they arrived late and one tech wore his mask under his nose the whole time. The a/c improved, but wasn’t working properly.

Weeks later, we scheduled a 2nd visit. 3-1/2 hrs after the scheduled time, they hadn’t arrived or called. We called them and rescheduled for the following day; they suggested 9a, then did not arrive until 11:30a. We told them to leave. You have to respect your customers’ time.

Jobs get complicated and run late; I understand, but if that happens, call your next appointment and let them know.

We would not use them again.

I loved the work, I am very happy with my new air and heating system, they did very well, keeping the area always clean, very fast, very professional, excellent people! 100% recommend it.

These guys are fantastic. Work is top-notch and all the workers were a pleasure to work with. Throughout the process they were happy to work with me whenever an issue/question/concern was raised and it was handled to complete satisfaction. They even took care of my system registration with Trane and warranty applications. Lastly, I appreciate the two pre-work orientations planned around my hectic schedule and the post-work orientation/walk-through.

After getting stiffed by Bell, I called on a Friday afternoon to see if someone could at least diagnose the issues I was having with my central air. They had technicians at my house within 90 minutes, and my unit was up and running shortly thereafter. They explained the issue to me and charged a very reasonable rate. I'm sold! They'll be getting my business from now on.

Not a professional company, based on my recent experience. Made an appointment. They cancelled because of rain that day. Weird, but OK. Rescheduled. Gave me a 10-12 time frame. I waited for 3 hours, no show and no calls. Several attempts to contact Enviromax only led to: "mail box full"... I texted to number of person who rescheduled appointment. My phone said, "message received." Yet, again, no reply. No one called to apologize for my wasting of 3 hrs waiting for them, and no calls to reschedule.

UPDATE 6/19/19: After this, they responded and sent technician out to check unit. As a courtesy for my earlier experience, they didn't charge me for the service call. This time around they were professional, and very prompt, with scheduling the appointment updates, showing up on time, and explaining the issues with AC unit and gave me detailed repair/replacement options---even though the cost of choosing a unit replacement is way out of my budget; I will research for less expensive options. As this point, I can't comment on price.

One thing about pricing... As long as pricing is straight-forward, and no hidden costs, a business can set their own prices, and it's up to the consumer to buy or not, or seek alternatives. And, what's expensive or of what value is often subjective. But, we all depend on other people's reviews to be better consumers, and big price differences between same or similar products should be noted. In this light, I will update this review when I decide what to do with my AC.

House was 54 degrees in the middle of a storm on a Sunday. Elmer was at my house within 30 minutes. A little tinkering and my heat was working for a very reasonable price. In this world of very unresponsive HVAC guys, it is nice to find someone who still cares!
