H. Jack’s Plumbing & Heating Western New York

After 4 years of bringing water from bathroom to kitchen 2 new faucets and 2 new plumbers Ang and Don did the job. They also fixed my tankless water heater that the other plumber said was no good. They also fixed my shower head that the other plumber said nothing could be done. I have never enjoyed a shower so much. They installed a house filter and pulled a cap out of my bathroom drain that I didn't even know was there. They were efficient and friendly got right down to fixing my problems. I love those guys and the company. They have a 5 star and plus from me.

I called and spoke with the owner, and he told me he would get someone out to my home as soon as possible. Within the hour, his workers showed up and I showed them where I was having the problem. They took a good look at it and said that they could and would fix it. They went back to their truck and got what they needed, and fixed my problem. I am very pleased.

I don't normally leave reviews, but after the last two problems I've had with plumbing the last month, these guys deserve one. Although they didn't help with my first problem, they at least returned my call. This time I needed a heating element replaced in my hot water tank. I called or sent messages online to 7 other plumbers - some I did both. Two said they were booked a week or more out, 1 only did drainage work, 1 had a full voicemail, 2 were booked out a week or more and 3 never called me back. H Jacks was the last company I contacted. By the time I reached out to them, I was tired of calling only to get a voicemail and no return call, so I sent a message online. I was shocked an hour later when I got a call back and a crew to my house first thing the next morning. They even fixed a couple things to increase my water pressure and make it easier to change the heating element in the future. It's been a week since I called for the repair and I still haven't heard from the other plumbers I left messages for.

Fit me in the day I called for service. Knowledgeable technicians, finished the job in one day. Offered feedback on what I could do to minimize the same issue from happening again.

I had a leak in the hot water tank pressure relief valve. Angelo came and had it fixed in a short time. I'll call them every time I need help.

Tech was great. The $351 bill to replace a flex gas line and a valve to my dryer, most of which must have been drive time and more drive time to run to a store for parts that the service truck probably should have been carrying anyway, was excessive. Charged over an hour for about 20 minutes inside my home and who knows what for the parts,.

This company charged me almost $2,900 to replace a tub/shower control, a small bathroom sink, and a bathroom sink faucet. If you plan on hiring them be prepared to pay double for your work.

My furnace broke down on a Thursday night in January, tried two other companies Friday morning and they told me the best they could do was the following Monday. Not H Jack's. They found the part I needed and had me up and running in a a few hours! On a Friday! Fantastic service, and I will be calling them again if I ever have another problem!

I called to have an estimate done on a broken pipe. The owner, who was quite rude over the phone, finally sent someone on the second day after telling me that it would be $140 for an estimate that would go towards the repair. The plumber who came to do the estimate came, walked over to the house and said they weren't going to do the job within less than 5 minutes of arriving. When I said that seemed like a scam to just take the $140 fee and refuse the job he called the owner. After speaking on the phone he came and told me they were keeping the $140 for the 'hassle of driving over' and if I wanted them to do the work it would be 'at least $2000-3000' since it looked like too much work. All this for one broken pipe. I called another local plumber who actually fixed it for $300. H jack is a predatory business and rude.

I was new to the area and didn't know who to call. Saw the H Jack's Plumbing ad on television several times so I thought I would give them a try. They were quick to respond and actually showed me the problem with our heating system shortly after arrival. The technicians were thorough and friendly. Felt they treated me as a regular person and not just a customer number on a call sheet. Good service and good products. Highly recommend them.
