Nice team they have, I bought a piece of equipment from Ken at a great price and left with out a small adapter. Ken had emailed me even before I got home and offered to just mail it to me rather than have me drive all the way back to his shop. He knows his equipment and offered me several suggestions to help me with the installation at my vacation home. He has been in business for over 25 years and wants you to be satisfied.
These are honest and trustworthy folks. Don't hesitate to do business with them. When the other guys tell you your equipment is shot and needs to be replaced (which they undoubtedly will).. call these guys for a second honest opinion.
Woke up to a cold house, turns out I had an issue with my boiler. Called Horbett and had a serviceman, Tim, over within a few hours. Tim was a wonderful guy, incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Took care of everything and had a warm house that same day. Would highly recommend!
Thank you very much to all the staff at horbbett Heating and Cooling. They have been wonderful. My furnace died during a storm when the temperatures where well below zero. The owners were just wonderful. They brought me heaters for the house. And made sure we were warm enough until we could put the new furnace in. First thing Monday morning, they were here. The guys were great. They did an awesome job. And it's a beautiful furnace. They were very professional. They even cleaned up better than they left it. I can't thank them enough for getting us through this rough time. I personally recommend horbett for all your heating and cooling needs. There's no need to call anybody else. They are awesome. Thanks again guys.
Just had a furnace installed by them. The installers were very professional. Great job on the duct work I can go on and on, But the point is I was very pleased with the price and The workmanship . I thought pride was not available anymore, But I was wrong. Ken senior Even stop at the house to check the work out about 3/4 the way through of the installation
Horbett came through royally when another company didn't and we are grateful. When we purchased our new home in Lancaster we encountered just a few months in a problem with our furnace. It was Horbett that came in and said they would work with our products warranty while another who stated in their ad that they did..refused to. Ok case closed there and Horbett came in and fixed a bad situation at a fair price and we couldn't be happier. We will be using them for our central air service and others as they now have earned a new to the area loyal customer. We reward good response and service!
Made an appointment a month ago to get the furnace turned up for the season. Took the day off, waited all day nothing. Got a call about 4 that tech was soon to be on his way from West Seneca. I gotta have the dog at the vet in WS by 5:15. Great, a wasted day. If I knew they wouldn't be here until after 4 I could have worked. I'm only 10 minutes down Genesee St, Maybe because I live in a trailer park? I bought the AC / Heat unit from them. No stars from me!
This place is a joke. I am giving one star only because I have to in order to leave a review. They lie, they over charge, and they do not follow through. Beware!!! DO NOT CALL HORBETT, it would be a regrettable choice. We had a horrible experience with this company. They came out to diagnose a problem with our furnace, spent 5 minutes at the house and charged nearly $100.00 for a standard house call fee then wanted over $400.00 to replace a 19$ part that took 5 minutes to replace. I bought the part online and fixed it myself, for $19.00. When the company was called out on the BBB, they lied through their teeth saying they made offers that they simply didn’t make. Own up to your mistakes HORBETT, and own up to your true identity - you are CROOKS!
Cannot recommend highly enough - great customer service (which is rare), great techs, no complaints about the charges - very fair, reliable company. I have "used" Horbett for probably 20 years and have never had a bad experience. High recommend!
I had a decent experience with Horbett Heating & Cooling in December 2013. They were always pleasant and professional on the phone, but the guys who came to do work on my hydronic heating system were morons. They came out to replace my electric pump and put it on backwards. The system was making all kinds of loud bangs so I called the company and Ken Horbett Jr. came out. He was kind and assured me that the company would fix the issue for free, but he had no idea what the problem was. It was only after I saw the flow indications on the zone valves that I realized the pump was installed backwards. Long story short, they did come and fix their mistake and later called me to apologize for the mishap.
