Very thorough air duct cleaning and repairing a broken pipe in the attic. Very happy with the pricing and technicians very knowledgeable and professional. We’ve been a customer of Horbett Heating & Cooling for many years, and have always been pleased with their service. We recently needed to replace our gas furnace and gas hot water tank. Mr. Horbett was very knowledgeable and helped us to explore our various options. Horbett Heating's quote was fair and reasonable. We chose a new Rheem furnace and A/C. Also, we decided to get a Rinnai tankless water heater. The installers were courteous, worked diligently, and were respectful of our home. We are extremely pleased with the finished job, and HIGHLY recommend Horbett Heating & Cooling!
On Friday we lost power at 8am until 4pm. National Grid restored our power but our furnace didn’t turn on. We called Ken right away and though he couldn’t come out due to the blizzard and safety concerns, he spoke with my husband on the phone talking him through troubleshooting. It took some time, things weren’t lookin good for us. Ken never gave up and called us first thing this morning and tried again, and got us up and running!!! We can’t say enough about his performance and kindness helping us even when he wasn’t able to physically get here!! We highly recommend Ken and his company as we have been long standing customers for 29 years now!
I was recommended to Horbette by another customer. I had a water boiler as my heating system. I had issues with the heating system.. the storm is about to arrive to town.. They answered the phone right away, and they were able schedule for a technician to stop by the same day. That was a relieve for me. My technician named was Tim. He was able to fix my problem under 2 hours. That was amazing. He followed the mask mandate and the social distance. He communicate very well, about what's the issue was, and what I can do to maintain it. I like that he was NOT those technician that rush to do his job and then say ok, it's fix and leave. He stay and explain to me what the problem was.. I felt like I have made a good decision by going with Horbett.
Tim came out fixed some leaks in my steam system today. Horbett is the 5th company I called and was the first not to try to sell me a new boiler, they only sold me what I needed and got my system working much better. I will be sticking with these guys for my furnace needs. I was treated fairly and honestly and Tim is the effen man, man he takes the time to explain stuff and how things work. We need more Tim’s in the world.
I used this Company to go check on a furnace making a weird noise after being ghosted by another BIG company. Horbett was amazing in every aspect, from the ladies that answer the phone to the technician. They were professional, kind, and understanding. They were able to get me in within a day even though my original appt was 10 days after! (In the buffalo December month this was huge lol) I HIGHLY recommend using this company over other bigger companies if you want professionalism, courtesy, and the job done right!
My tenant installed furnace a month ago but not working properly now. I called them, Rose assured me that she will investigate the more information and will let me know. I am waiting for her call to resolve the issue. I am giving the 5 stars now. If I don't hear from them, I may give negative feedback as to their response. I hope they will get back to me soon. Rose sounded to me on the phone as professional. Let's hope for the best.
horbett actually put a magnetic fridge magnet on my dryer in the basement and stickers all over the furnace and water heater, first of all I removed them all, I am the owner, do not come here and deface my property, if you are a good company, people will call you back but to put your magnet on my dryer is pathetic, do you sell dryers? no, do you repair dryers? no.
horbett also does not install carbonic acid neautralizers which eat through old pipes in old houses and its part of the plumbing code these filters reduce the acid and raise the ph level to safe levels. get a ph tester. It is like putting battery acid down the drain.
Great staff and excellent work , thanks again 👍🏿,love my new boiler , excellent price and just a great group of guys 👏🏿👏🏿. Professional all the time . Cleaned up everything and took all the garage and old parts with them✌🏿 And they brought my hot water tank up to code with no extra charges. Thanks for the excellent experience .
