My AC stopped working in the beginning of summer and we were under the gun to repair or replace our older AC. Due to the timing, most companies are stretched thin and many did not even return my calls. Todd Voron (owner) was referred to me by a friend and he called me on the weekend and took the time to hear me out and provided multiple options. He was very professional, patient and responsive. He did not try to upsell or push me towards any option. I recommend Todd for your HVAC needs.
I do NOT recommend this company. I have never taken time to write a review (good or bad) for a company, but this seemed necessary as the customer service was AWFUL. If you want things done thoroughly, in a timely manner, and done right, I would recommend going with a different company.
Todd came to assess our refrigerator/freezer through our home warranty. He asked questions on previous repairs and what we were currently experiencing with our freezer and refrigerator. After explaining to him our three main issues, he took a BRIEF look in our fridge/freezer and guessed what he believed to be wrong (based off of what I told him was happening and his 1 minute assessment). He said overall, if our home warranty asks, he would recommend a new fridge/freezer. Note: Todd NEVER fully examined our fridge/freezer, didn't take the time to run diagnostic tests on the thermostats, damper, etc. He spent most of his time talking.
Two weeks went by and we had to follow up with Nu Air to ask why the report hadn't been sent to our home warranty. They had no good reason and submitted a half done report that day only listing one issue. Todd listed one thing as the issue (the damper) and did not even mention our additional issues.
We recently hired a new company to come out (A Call Away Appliance-highly recommend!) and they spent over two hours running every diagnostic test, pulling everything apart (including the damper that worked perfectly fine!!) and made a new diagnosis. Witnessing all the time and effort this company put into our refrigerator/freezer made us realize even more the poor customer service we have received in the past.
Contractor through insurance company. Ac went out and was given an appointment 2 days later. No show, I called and they said it was requested but they weren’t notified. I had an official email with an appointment time and date. They said the next available was Thursday. Again Thursday came and I called in the morning just to make sure they were coming this time and what do you know, they knew nothing about it even though we confirmed with them on the phone and got a confirmation email. Very unprofessional, avoid at any cost.
I paid to have them to come over to my house to check my washer that is not working and to give me the diagnosis of what is wrong and maybe have it fixed. Michael checked it, and said that they will be emailing me with the receipt and also letting me know what was wrong with the washer…it’s been 2 weeks, and after 3 phone calls and emails to them, they haven’t responded me at all. So wasted my money and time.

Todd, the owner, admitted the mistake was on their side, but he no longer returns my calls. They are very unprofessional and non-responsive. I'm stuck with them because of my warranty company. I would not recommend them for doing any service.
I must say this company acted swiftly when we had an issue. We have a young baby in the house and during a heatwave with no air-conditioning would be a real struggle. Shawn, our technician, was amazing. He really looked into the next level of issues to find our problem. Others would have just saw the surface and left it alone but he found the problem! Highly recommend this company and Shawn.
Nu~Air has been the first company to resolve our HVAC nightmare!!! We have put so much unnecessary spending towards our HVAC system for the past 20 years of our company being in our current location. It seemed that every company we hired knew how to "fix" our issues yet we still ended up with the same result. Todd and his family have been responsive and knowledgeable throughout our dealings with their company. We are happy to announce that we all have the proper heating and air conditioning in all parts of our almost 12,000 sq ft building!!!
They have done such an amazing job that the owner and other staff have hired Nu~Air for their personal residences. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and outstanding customer service makes the world of a difference. It is such a great feeling when you finally find a trustworthy company to keep your workplace and home comfortable!!

- Some eye sores due to a bit of carelessness in my opinion (minor frays to insulation throughout and/or not neatly cut in some areas, soldering connections not neat, refrigerant lines sticking out a little more than I’m used to, drain line crooked, untidy application of silicone to cover hole instead of expand foam or puddy)
- Duct cleaning was questionable due to the air attachment to knock off the debris in the ducts was removed and only one vent had a vacuum attached. Nevertheless, there was a lot of debris that didn’t get sucked out by the vac and settled in the basement duct work. Note* (The tech did attempt to vacuum up as much as possible once notified of the problem) However it leaves me wondering where else in the duct system there lies a ton of dust and debris that didn’t get suctioned by the vac. The sanitizer smelled like burned electric wires; but I think it just got mixed with all the soldering smoke from the air handler install which got circulated through the house.
Overall NU AIR THC did a good job and accommodated me, and family’s HVAC needs accordingly, their price was very affordable and the amount of work that was accomplished in roughly six hours is commendable. The new unit looks great and works great. Overall Experience with NU AIR THC was “POSITIVE” I would use them again for my HVAC needs and would recommend them for yours.
