I've lived in my home town for 32 years and never have I had such a bad experience with an owner of a company. Gary (the owner) repaired my heating system last year and said he would be back to flush out the system and replace a value on a radiator. I paid him in full last year and this year, one year later, he comes back replaces the value and charges me $180 for something that should have be part of last year's payment. Not to mention that his guy was in my house all of 10 minutes. Get everything in writing with this guy. Better yet don't do business with him.

Our 5-year old Goodman(what a joking brand) dual zone furnace was stopped working with “cannot find the R wire” error on thermostat and fan’s constantly on but no heat on a heavy snow day that’s below freezing. The HVAC was having the same issue a few weeks back and we hired an electrician did some digging but the fix didn’t last long as the error recurred today. Called another supposedly “pro” HVAC guy who told us it’s gotta be done with an additional transformer by the books and would charge an arm & leg to get it done “properly” but the HVAC worked for the past 5 years okay no issues, why it stopped? Then we called Gary whole diagnosed the problem tried the factory recommended wiring didn’t work(because the the supposedly missing transformer) and was able to figure out the old way (what the original installer did) rewire it up and it worked. Thank you Gary!

I am perfectly happy with my choice of Absolute Comfort. I got quotes/estimates from 4 companies to replace my heating and air conditioning which was 22 years old. Absolute Comfort was the least expensive by several thousand dollars!!! I was a little afraid I was compromising quality but that was not the case. Gary was wonderful to work with. He returned phone calls promptly and was very easy to work with. His crew were 2 really nice, fun guys. These guys were so sweet with my dog, too and even threw her the frisbee a few times. My heat is humming along perfectly and we are warm and toasty with a brand new humidifier too!

Gary must be one of the few truly honest businessmen around. On the hottest day of the summer, our air conditioner stopped working. He said I may need a new unit that would cost thousands of dollars but he took the time to take the whole unit apart, tested each component and honestly came up with a faulty wire which made my day!!

I signed up for maintenance contract. After finally getting appointment to come do maintenance. Was told by the technician that our central air was not working correctly and that the owner would have to come out and look at it., Well I then made 4 attempts to get him out here. Took off work and waited 4 separate times and got no shows. I reached out and told them that I would gladly pay for the one and only service they provided and that would like refund and cancel maintenance since they can not make it out. I had to hire a separate company. I have not got any response , I would not recommend this company to anyone

In October 2010 the owner came out on a Saturday. He promised me that his technicians would install a new furnace and a new Goodman central air conditioning unit in "three" days. "Three days turned into one week. Initially he received half of the cost ($4250) at the start of the job. 6 days later he wanted the other half ($4250) without finishing the job. I told him he would receive the rest of the money when the job was done. On April 26, 2011 we had a very unusual hot day. When I turned the A/C unit on, it didn't. After calling and hagling to have a technician come out the next day, a technician shows up and checks the A/C system. The technician then tells me that the system was not fully charged with refrigerant so he charges the system and of course the A/C unit works well the 2011 season. This year (2012) has been unseasonably warm and I have had to use the A/C in the house without problem until yesterday, June 10, 2012. Turns out that the system has a refrigerant leak on a system that is not even two years old. When I called Absolute (mis) Comfort and spoke to Lori, she tells me that since I did not purchase a service contract I would have to pay $135.00 plus parts to recharge the system. Don't use do business with this company. The owner promises you the world but never delivers. Tomorrow I am contacting the better business bureau and the attorney general's office consumer affairs division for assistance in resolving this issue.

I have been dealing with Absolute Comfort for over10 years, as old as my home . While having to start from scratch there are too many things to worry about. Thankfully for this Co.! From owner down to whoever answers phone , I never had to worry about a single thing. All products & workmanship are top notch. I had to call maybe twice & my problems went away that day. Works right, priced right . Shop here LAST.

Absolutely terrible. They first came out in June to fix the AC, was told it would take a day, every day for over two weeks we were told "tomorrow" and seemingly no progress was made and when we asked for a specific date they were vague and irritated. The ac finally worked for 4 days, then we have to call them back out, again something we were told would be resolved in 1 day took a week and every day we checked in "worst case scenario" would be the following day. Then finally they say yesterday, but instead take another job then insist first thing today they'll take care of it they guarantee 10am I had to call today (it's 2pm) to remind them to come out. Its been a nightmare. They have either not been honest about a reasonable time frame, are not dependable or simply lazy. Do not use them. Awful experience.

Absolutely a joy to work with Gary. Very patient, thorough work, leaves the job clean, explains everything, and honest. Cleaned a unit that another company said we had to replace.

Incomplete job. 9 months have passed and they still haven't come to put the filter. Terrible communication. Use someone else.
