Jorge Repairs, fixed two Fujitsu mini splits for a property I manage. One of the units had internal compressor failure which Jorge was able to get replacement compressor covered under warranty. If you want someone who is knowledgeable in Fujitsu and is a Fujitsu Elite contractor Jorge is your guy.

Unlike Jorge, my word is important to me. A year later I must recant my original review. The central AC units were installed in April 2019 for my 2nd floor and June 2019 for my 1st floor. They cooled without issue June, July, and August 2019. Both units stopped functioning this summer 2020. They do not cool and they blow hot air.

Despite being new from last summer, the units required repair five times this summer alone and to this day remain broken as Jorge never solved the problem of his own shoddy work. Jorge came to “repair” with quick fixes instead of figuring out the root of the problem. Mind you this is his own work and installation. Each time that Jorge showed up to “repair”, within less than a week the units were not cooling again.

The fifth time they broke, Jorge was reluctant to return stating he doesn’t know why they are not working and “it’s not his problem.” I pleaded with him and he reluctantly went. My tenant did not get a chance to open the door for him because she was tending to her baby. Jorge became impatient and left upset. He angrily told me to find someone else for these repairs and the AC’s are “not his problem.” This was a surprise to me because Jorge assured me the units have warranty for life and I can count on him to be responsible for future repairs. It is not my fault Jorge did a faulty job installing the AC units nor is it my fault Jorge did not know how to fix his own work the first, second, third, or fourth time.

I found a new HVAC specialist and I was very saddened with the disaster job he uncovered and what he told me. Without me even explaining the pre-existing work and installation by Jorge, my new HVAC specialist inquired, “did you install this or it came with the house?” I responded, “I had these installed brand new last summer.” He followed with, “I’m sorry to tell you this but whoever did this job for you definitely took advantage of you. This job is very poorly done. Like really bad. Yeah, sorry.”

Something I graciously chose not to mention in my original review last year is that when Jorge installed my central AC units last summer, he broke my ceiling. (See attached pictures.) Jorge claims he accidentally made a hole and a large crack through the ceiling. I found out through my tenants when they arrived home they called me horrified (Jorge had already left.) I immediately called Jorge confused and worried about what happened and it was only then that he confessed to me what happened. Keeping the damage a secret from me was one of the many red flags I wish I did not ignore. Jorge agreed to cover it up with spackle. That too, was poorly done. To this day it still leaks when the AC is in use.

I am very disappointed. Jorge got me on the hook because he said he wanted to “help me out with the best price” and will provide “lifetime warranty.” He told me I can trust him, and I wholeheartedly did. I learned my lesson and regret being naive. I wish I had chosen a real professional because ultimately Jorge: charged me professional prices for an unprofessional disaster job, intimidated me into absorbing the cost for measurement miscalculations he made at the consultation and the cost of "repair" for my ceiling he broke, and I had to hire a new HVAC person to repair the damages Jorge created and abandoned.

Jorge is unable to provide quality services due to his lack of experience, balancing his day job, and starting this HVAC business on the side. Jorge gave me a PLETHORA of excuses, one of them constantly being, “Work (his day job) is busy. I’m really tired.” If Jorge wants to be a business owner he needs to be responsible and accountable for the safety and satisfaction of his paying customers who trust him. Being a business owner is not only about money, but I think that’s all Jorge cares about. Additionally, after meeting with other HVAC professionals I can confidently say that Jorge is not knowledgeable or experienced.

I am a young single woman and first time homeowner who makes an honest living. Jorge knew exactly what he was doing when he scammed me.

Jorge installed an industrial-grade Fujitsu A/C system at our church. It’s a 20-ton ductless system with two tall heat pumps and six evaporators. Before the installation, Jorge explained everything clearly in plain language so that we could understand the process of installation. For each day of installation, he showed up on time and communicated clearly the progress he was making. His workmanship is excellent. The A/C is working wonderfully, generating very cold air, down to 50 degrees even when the outside temperature is over 90 degrees. After the installation, we discovered a minor issue with one of the condensation drain hoses, which turned out to be caused by another contractor who worked around the same area for an unrelated job. But Jorge came several times until he resolved the issue, which was caused by someone else. We are very pleased with the quality of his work and the service we received.

Jorge Repairs saved the day when Prestige Air Heating & Cooling completely botched the installation of a ductless mini-split system in my two-family building and refused to correct the issue. Jorge is a man of his word in an industry where such a trait is becoming increasingly rare. His prices are very competitive, his invoicing is transparent, he is a pleasure to work with and will always return a call if he is busy, and most importantly - he shows up when he says he will. I wish I could bold, italicize, and underline that last part, because I have worked with a wide array of contractors over the years and Jorge has been by far the most consistent to his word. I wish I had known about Jorge Repairs when I initially had my ductless mini-split system installed, but I will certainly be using them for all future installations. Thanks Jorge!

This guy is a diamond in the rough. I called 1/2 dozen guys and they only serviced the units they sold and wouldn't even consider coming over. Jorge not only took the job but also provided insight and took the time to explain everything and at a very reasonable rate. If anyone needs HVAC help I can't think of anyone better prepared or skilled to do the job.

Jorge installed two separate Mini Split units, one for me and another one for my parents and in both cases there was a leak in the system and the refrigerant kept scaping and had to be recharged- He was unable to identify and fix the leaks- He did not honor the labor warranty - He was always in a rush claiming that he was too busy. Would not recommend him -

Jorge connected the lines and electrical to the units, he did such a poor job that the refrigerant kept leaking - I would stay away from contracting Jorge - As I mentioned he is always in a hurry and that could be the reason for such poor workmanship

It was a pleasure meeting Jorge, he came to temporarily disconnect our Fujitsu mini splits. Once we are ready to mount them back we will contact Jorge to reinstall them. He also gave us good advice on possibly changing our heating/cooling system to more energy efficient system. Thank you so much Jorge! We will see you soon, God Bless.
