    Ryan came to my home to give me a proposal to replace my central AC system.
    Very professional.
    I made the mistake to go with a different ct based on a friend's referral.
    BIG MISTAKE!!
    I got screwed big😡
    I contacted Northeast Climate and spoke to Drew.
    He listened to my situation. I asked him if he could complete the work that was NOT done by the other company.
    He gave me another proposal to finish.
    I used the proposal to dispute the first company's charges.
    Drew was very honest with me and explained because my lines were NOT replaced at the time the new condenser was installed. They would have to empty the condenser of the refrigerant, put new lines in and replace the refrigerant, depressurize my system!!
    He stated my lines are copper and last many years. My system was 28yrs old.
    I had it replaced because of its age and I depend on it greatly due to being oxygen dependant.
    Drew said they would come out early spring and replace the pad under the condenser and flush my lines instead of replacing them.
    I will certainly be staying with Northeast Climate for all my HVAC maintenance!!

    Very happy with our experience with Northern Climate. Zack & Drew installed our new boiler recently. I was dreading the whole experience, but they were so professional, knowledgeable and quick...they made the whole process much easier than I expected. I actually had the hardest time even just getting a plumber to call back, having contacted numerous ones before these guys. They called me back 2 minutes after I left a voicemail. Their customer service is also excellent and always responded to my questions. On top of all of this...I found their prices to be very fair and much better than other companies. Highly reccomend them!!!

    Okay, so on Wednesday morning August 29th my wife woke up and said to me, "I don't think the A/C is working". I went outside to check the unit and sure enough the 23 year old unit was hot and humming and the fan was not turning. It was 05:30 am and I sat down with my computer and put a request into Home Advisor. I did not expect to get an appointment, but I got a hit that Northern Climate had a 10:30 slot available, I checked their ratings and all were good. I signed up and hoped for the best.

    Ryan called me at 09:00 am and said he had a cancellation and could be at my home at 10:00 am if I could meet him. When I arrived five minutes late, Ryan was waiting for me in the company truck. He shook my hand and listened to my story of the 23 year old unit. I have been expecting to replace this unit for the past five years, but every year it still fires up. Ryan listened and said "let me take a look and see what you've got, then I will give you some options". It took Ryan about 5 minutes to access the problem. He walked me over to the unit and showed me that the fan motor, that should spin freely, had a great deal of resistance, he then also showed me the voltage reading to the capacitor that was reading just within specs. He gave me an estimate of $450.00 to replace the motor and capacitor if he could find the original fan motor, another $200.00 if he had to use a universal motor.

    However, Ryan then told me that he had found a bit of mold outside my air handler and asked if we were experiencing any "irritation" issues with our air inside... we have not, a bit of Lysol on the mold on the line leading into the air handler has taken care of this problem. He did give me a quote for the outside unit and air coil for when we are ready to have that job down and it was over $1000 less than my most recent estimate. I cut a check to Ryan, share our DEET with him to protect from the mosquitos around our unit, asked him to watch out that our indoor cats did not get out while he was servicing the home, and provided him with our garage door key code.

    At 03:00 that afternoon, I received a phone call from Ryan to say our unit had been up and running for the past 20 minutes, but he wanted me to know that the 23 year old fan blade had some rust on it and as a result there was a small vibration when the unit was running. He did not think that this would be a problem, but told me to call him if I was concerned and he would order a new fan blade and could come back to replace it. I checked the unit when I got home and I actually think that it vibrates less than it did before Ryan installed the new motor.

    Ryan texted the next day just to follow up and see that the work he did was satisfactory. What can I say, I am very impressed with Ryan and obviously Northern Climate. When this unit "gives up the ghost" I will be calling Northern Climate to come in and install the replacement. Outstanding service, very personable, and not trying to "upsell" you. How can you go wrong. Thanks Ryan and thank you Northern Climate for allowing me to give my wife the "coolest" anniversary gift I could have given, yeah I forgot that part, Wednesday was our 31st Anniversary.
