    A couple of their drivers in a big van pulls up next to my car,gets out,slams his door into my door and doesn't even say sorry or acknowledge me even though I'm sitting in the car looking right at him. By that display of disrespect I couldn't imagine hiring these guys to do anything!!!!!!!!!!!

    I own an investment property and the furnace was not kicking on in really cold weather and my tenants were waking up to a 55 degree house. I have an Old Republic Home Warranty and called them for a service call and they sent out A-1 Complete Heating. The contractor came at the end of the day and said the filter needed to be changed, which got changed out. The next day the furnace was still not consistently kicking on and I called A1 and spoke with a tech rep who said that the extreme cold temps were causing the furnace to run longer and a safety mechanism was kicking it off and to turn the thermostat off for 5 minutes and back on to kick it on and there was nothing wrong with the furnace. This started on 1/20th and I called A1 again on 2/2nd to discuss the ongoing problem and left a voicemail and they never returned my call. Moving forward, 2/3rd at 8am I called Old Republic Home Warranty and asked them to send out a different contractor and they sent out Elite Heat and Air in KC, KS. Rocky with Elite Heat and Air called me in less than an hour and I explained what the furnace was doing and he told me over the phone what he thought it was. He was at the house at 10:30am and literally had the furnace repaired in 15 minutes and the furnace is heating like a charm and had the house up to temp in about an hour. A1 Elite did not listen to me nor return my calls when we were still having problems so I would not recommend them, the customer service was disappointing and frustrating and my poor tenants were freezing.

    I took a job with this Company for about two weeks and could not deal with Brandy the Manager. She is the worst person I have had the misfortune of dealing with in my entire adult life. I urge anyone considering calling them to call any other company. I have been in the HVAC industry over 30 years now so I know how customers should be treated and she is not even close.

    A-1 Came out to our house on 5/11 and said our A/C is broken and we need to get it replaced. We said, ok. Let's do it. It's been two weeks and we have heard nothing back from them. We're still goin on this issue. Brandy at A-1 has been great, turns out it's our home warranty that's the issue. Blech.

    Poor customer service, texted me for an appointment about a warranty call and had already scheduled an appointment for me between 2pm and 5pm. I texted back asking if I needed to be there, they responded say they could get my garage code. I wasn’t comfortable with that but I told the if he got there after 4pm we would be there, they responded saying they couldn’t schedule warranty calls after 3pm. Confused because they already had me scheduled from 2pm to 5pm, I called. The lady I had been texting with was immediately rude and tried explaining to me that they didn’t schedule appointments after 3pm, when I told her that they already scheduled an appointment from 2pm to 5pm, she told me that if I didn’t understand what she was saying then I should find another company. This company is trash and I would not work with them

    Great company to work with! They were very responsive, respectful and provided quality work. We would definitely recommend using them and will be a lifelong customer. We originally were put in touch with them through a home warranty company and when that didn't work out, we still decided to have A-1 Complete do the job. They were on time, courteous, cleaned up after themselves and got the job done quick! They offer a great warranty on their work and parts. Honest and easy to work with!

    I woke up with my furnace not running on the first snow day this year. I called this company 15 minutes before their opening time and they answered just like I had called during business hours. They had a tech out to me within an hour and he diagnosed my issue within minutes! Chris (the tech) made a call to the office then drove to the supply house and back with my part without making me wait all day. All said and done my heating system was back up and running in less than two hours. I can tell you who I will call for my next HVAC issues. I would highly recommend this company!

    Steve just left and we are back in business! My day started early with the smell of gas throughout the house. After a visit at 7:30am from the gas company we called A-1 Complete to change out the control valve on our furnace unit. They responded quickly, arrived when they said they would and Steve was helpful and professional. He had to leave to get the part but returned promptly and installed it with no issues. We are so happy to have heat given the forecast for the weekend! Thank you A-1!!!

    I would prefer to give them 0 stars, but that isn't a choice. Absolutely terrible customer service. Bob refused to actually schedule an appointment for me, and would simply say "we will see if we can work you in," it took minimum 3 phone calls to get anything accomplished. Bob mumbles and argues every time we call and always very obviously tries to ignore the actual questions you're asking... Our story: They installed a new unit for us in October and when we turned it on again in April (after winter) it did not work. When we called to have them come check over their work, they charged us again... AND told us there was "nothing wrong" even though the AC would not blow cool air. After another call, Bob finally sent the tech back out who diagnosed the issue as one that "happens all the time with this particular unit." The tech told us we would need a new coil and left. After two days I had heard nothing, so called and found out that the part was not ordered. They sent yet another tech out to write down the part info so they could order it. After a week I called again, still had not been ordered, Bob telling me it was "on the to do list." After another week and many arguments wth Bob we finally had a tech out here to install new coil, but that tech then discovered it wasn't the coil after all, but insulation interfering with the coil function. It took this company almost 8 weeks, 4 techs, and one HORRIBLE manager (Bob) to figure this out. He "fixed" the insulation and serviced our unit for "free" though we were not refunded the money we had already given them for the run around. Now, 3 weeks later our unit, less than one year old, cannot keep our house cooled to even 76 in the evenings. We've contacted a new service and will never use a-1 or recommend them to anyone.

    I hired A-1 Complete Heating & Cooling through my Home Warranty. The issue was when I turned the switches on the thermostat the fuse on the HVAC kept burning out causing the blower fan to constantly run with no heat or cooling. A-1 guy came out charged me $75 to change a fuse but did not do any trouble shooting to find out what was causing the fuse to burn out. The 3 amp fuse blew again. Temperature was in the teens to low 20's at night and I needed heat. Both myself and my Home Warranty company called A-1 several times and left messages for a recall to come back out to my house because the problem was not fixed during their prior visit. A-1 would not return our calls. I do not recommend A-1 and I would also like a refund.
