A/C was running poorly. They came out and told us our Freon was low. They claimed our type of Freon “r-22” was $1,000 per pound and recommended we needed to replace rather than to refill at that price.

Did a simple google search, r-22 Freon is about $70 per pound and we found another person to fill for $80 per pound.

We spent $160 to refill the Freon and had no reason to buy a new A/C. Don’t waste your money on their trip charge.

I was looking for estimates on replacing my HVAC system and Phil was able to come out within a few days. After a few different quotes, I decided to go with Angell Aire as their pricing was great as well as warranty. Techs were great as well. They were on time, professional and answered my questions.

They came and diagnosed that my AC was out of refrigerant (which I already assumed and told them). They then tested it which I had to pay $125 for and then told me that the cost of the refrigerant would be well over $3,000 and that I should just get a new air conditioner (even though mine is only 7 years old). Had another service come out the next day and they refilled my refrigerant for $120 and fixed the leak for $60. I feel very ripped off my angell aire.

As a first time customer I placed my trust in Angell based on the high recommendations from other owners within my building. With the supply chain being as it is, Angell responded to my needs with solutions not excuses. With cold weather quickly approaching, Grant, one of their courteous, trained technicians, was sent out to assure me my unit was safe to operated until the new one arrives. Reviewing the three bids on a replacement unit, hands down, Angell operates on the principle of honesty. It's been a pleasure dealing with the professionalism that Phil and Mike practice in handling my situation.

We had a great experience with Angell Aire. They had the best price and the quickest install time (less than one week when it was 90F+ for an extended period). We had a replacement plan with Xcel energy but their salesman was rude and quite literally twice the price of Angell Aire so we had Angell Aire do the replacement and they handled all the rebates for us (minus the replacement check from Xcel that was apart of our repair/replace appliance plan). The gentleman who came to replace our unit was kind, polite, and very professional. It's been 2 years now and we are very happy!

They were able to come out the first day I called and return again the next day(which was Friday late after hours)
After further diagnostics we determined it was time to replace my heat pump.
They answered questions and gave advice even on the weekend and quickly scheduled my furnace and heatpump replacement by Wednesday the following week.

Angell Aire installed a gas furnace and cold-climate air source heat pump in our house in April of 2021. The service we received from them was exceptional. When we met at our house, Phil Angell thoroughly answered my numerous questions. When I contacted him later by email with detailed questions, he responded promptly. His installers, Alex and Seth, arrived on time and gave me a lot of good information about the units they installed. Recently I had a Service Call to thoroughly clean and service my Mitsubishi Split AC system. The Service Tech knew exactly what I wanted when he showed up and promptly began to take the inside Split Unit apart to clean it. Since every Mitsubishi Split is different, similar but different, it took a bit of analysis to see how it came apart to clean all the vents, vanes, blower squirrel cage and drains. He did a great job and was meticulous in cleaning, which was sorely needed after many, many years of my neglect. Now my AC unit seems to be working like new. I would like to acknowledge his work and give him and your company a big thank you.
