Hendricks Heating & Air Conditioning

In need of a new gas heating system I interviewed four local companies. Bill Hopp from Hendricks heating and air conditioning spent the most time with me explaining in detail the potential issues with my furnace and what I could expect from an American Standard furnace. After reviewing the quotes from other companies and viewing several independent online evaluations of heating furnaces for residential homes, and based on my interaction with Bill, we selected Hendricks. Today the 28th of February, Seth and Jerry came to my home, removing the Old Furnace and installing the new one. They found a couple of issues with the former installation which they corrected and efficiently installed my new American Standard gold model furnace. It is a 96% efficient furnace. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up the work site like no one had been there. I watched them from time to time which they were okay with my doing and when I asked questions Seth or explained things to me. A new digital thermostat was also installed which Jerry programmed for me to exactly mirror the thermostat that I had previously installed. I cannot say enough good about this company, the excellent American Standard furnace and the entire relationship process from meeting bill to final installation with my furnace. Our furnace finally gave up the ghost during one of the coldest weeks of the year. Hendricks gave us professional advice, walked us through the Michigan Saves loan application process and even left us a couple of space heaters to get us through the night. They were knowledgeable, kind and empathetic during a stressful (and cold) situation. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Hendricks installing a new mini split A/C system. From the initial meeting to the install. A few very minor problems after install (expected for putting a complete system in a VERY old house) were taken care of quickly. Can’t say enough good things, Bill and the team are top notch.

Hendricks Heating and Air Conditioning was extremely prompt, professional and courteous! Their online website is very user friendly. I was able to ask for services online, with a very quick response and a tech at my house at 9am the next morning. Unfortunately my air conditioner unit was beyond repair. Once we went over some options, they were very quick to get our new unit installed. We also decided to have a new furnace and water heater installed at the same time. I also appreciated them lending us an A/C unit to use while they installed the new one.
