Kirk and his team were very responsive and professional. They had our new furnace and AC installed within one day and made sure we were satisfied all of the way through. High quality work for a good price. Definitely recommend!
Our furnace wasn’t heating our entire home. We called another local big-name company to service it and they found a gouge in a pipe. The repairman said the unit was so old (25 years) that it couldn’t be fixed and said he had to turn it off (in December) and it would have to be completely torn out and replaced. Their quote to replace it seemed really high, but we weren’t in a position to say no. However, that big-name company said they were not going to be able to install for several days, maybe even a week. Our friend recommended we call Blue Flame for a second quote. Kirk was extremely prompt and gave us a higher quality unit for far less money and an equal warranty. We called Blue Flame on a Monday morning, Kirk came out and gave us a quote that afternoon, a new unit was installed and operational by the afternoon the following day. Our home has evenly distributed heat for the first time since we moved in 1 1/2 years ago. Kirk and his team were highly professional, timely and provided a high-quality solution at an affordable price. Thank you!!!
When my Furnace went out on Friday Night I called Consumers Energy as I had their Appliance Service Plan. They contacted Blue Flame Heating and Cooling who sent a service tech out to diagnose the issue first thing on Saturday morning. He told me the old unit was failing and was a borderline safety issue. It was 30 years old and this was at least the 3rd or 4th issue I'd had with it since I bought the house so that was no surprise. He got it running again and we had been set up for a Tuesday install on the new unit.
However about an hour later it died again, and when I called Blue Flame back Kirk (the owner) pulled in a couple of installers on their off day to make sure I didn't go without heat. The installers were awesome guys who went out of their way to help me out here. The epitome of friendly and professional. The unit they installed performed better than my old one and was relatively inexpensive.
If you are reading this review, I'd say quit reading and give these guys a call. They will treat you right.
They did an inspection of my boiler before buying my home. I was very happy with how fast they were able to respond and get it done. They are very nice and professional and would recommend them to anybody.
Definitely would recommend that you stay away from this company. Brand new furnace installed. A year later having problems with it. They want $129 to come look at it. Sorry but a brand new furnace should definitely last longer than that before giving you problems. Below standard company.
I had good customer service over the phone but when a technician arrived he was rude to me. I told him he needed to put his mask on over his nose to enter my home and he grumbled at me and repeatedly had it on improperly. I gave him space to work but asked questions when he was done so I would be informed (I rent). He ignored me multiple times. I'm glad my landlord chose to have someone else replace the furnace and I didn't have to interact in my home with that technician again.
Our technician came out and was able to fix the issue during after hours service. Not only was the repair quick, but he even checked our warranty status on the furnace for us so we wouldn't need to spend money on a covered part. Would highly recommend.
This company will not last long with Kirk in charge. He is completely un-professional. And clearly has very limited knowledge in the HVAC field. In short he spent 3 days going through my system, and couldn't even diagnose a broken wire leading to a thermostat. Two of the techs that showed up, they may have been able to fix the issue, if Kirk wouldn't have already screwed things up so bad. it took another company only 30 minutes to diagnose the problem. Then another two hours to fix what kirk messed up. My system is fine now. Would not recommend Kirk form blue flame to change a light bulb.
