Our repair man, Scott, was on time, polite and professional. This company is one of the best of any companies I have ever dealt with in my life. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and save yourself time, money and worry by using Brisendine in the first place.

We've had our furnace and a/c serviced by this company a few times now, and every time they've been honest, fairly priced, and done good work. I highly recommend them.

Nice guy but I'm not happy with the service. My furnace was giving a pressure switch code 11 months ago and I called Brisendine who came out to look at it. The repairman said he could not do anything unless he saw the code himself. Even though I told him the code. I find it hard to believe there isn't a method to diagnose a problem without actually seeing a code. So, he cleaned the flame sensor (not relevant to the code I was getting) and charged me $79. That night, no heat. Same code I told the tech about. They came back out and replaced the pressure switch for another $89. This was late March so I wan't using the furnace that much after the repair but I believe it worked for the rest of the spring. Next winter, the furnace would occasionally stop working and the same pressure switch code would flash. Sometimes I could turn the switch to the furnace off and on a few times and it would kick on. If not, I would tap on the pressure switch and sometimes that would get it to work again. And after getting it to kick on, it would work for a few weeks. But soon the pressure switch code would start flashing again. Usually in the middle of the night when it's freezing cold and I am tired. Recently I looked at the pressure switch they installed and it is a different switch than what this furnace calls for. The numbers are different. I called Brisendine and they said the difference was allowable. Perhaps but I want the one that this furnace requires. Who knows maybe that's the problem? I told them because tapping on the pressure switch causes the furnace to start back up, I'm thinking it must be a switch issue. They said not necessarily. So I asked them, if the switch turns out to be bad would they replace it for free? The woman on the phone said she would have to ask. She called me back and said it would be another $89 for them to come back out. These guys are nice and they might mean well but I think they should be able to fix a furnace the first time, not the 3rd or more times. At the very least they should come out and look at my furnace without charging me considering I have had nothing but problems with this furnace and this SAME code for the past 11 months. Hate to do it but I am switching furnace companies.

*Reply to Brisendine's response

Unfortunately for some of the good businesses (which this one is not), people tend not to leave reviews when things go right but when they go wrong. So I guess I am no different. But just because a bad experience is a bigger motivator than a good one, that doesn't negate the truthfulness of my review of your company. I have watched several videos and there are gauges, meters, and methods to determine why a furnace is not operating properly. But you told me you needed to see the code in order to fix it. That's why I had to spend another night without heat and that's why I am still having this same issue a year later. Just admit it, you are lazy and didn't want to be bothered with diagnosing the issue and it was easier and more profitable to just replace a cheap switch, charge me, and be on your way. And sorry but this furnace is 10 years old not 15. And I never asked for a free furnace repair. All I wanted is ONE proper diagnoses and my furnace fixed. And I told the lady that answered the phone that if it turned out the issue was related to the pressure switch you installed, that you would waive the service call fee. You came out twice and this furnace is still not fixed. A reputable company would apologize and fix the issue. So you would give me zero stars huh? I am sure you gave the money I paid you 5 stars. And now I have to pay another company to fix something you should have fixed. After reading your reply I see I made the right decision to find a new furnace company.

My mom had to have her furnace and hot water tank replaced due to water damage. Everyone we dealt with at Brisendine was very helpful and we couldn't be happier.
